It's literally completely outplayed by the new combat sniper, the Queenbreakers Bow. There's no reason to use the NLB, plus the Bow doesn't have sniper glint with the shorter scope while a gun with fucking IRON SIGHTS has sniper glint. The gun is ass.

The NLB is an incredibly fun novelty weapon with the extreme bonus of being one of the most satisfying kill getters available, especially when you outshoot Thorn/Sniper assholes. I'll take it over the Queenbreaker's Bow anyday tbh
What we really need though is a bolt action autorifle with MIRV skip ammo that does approximately one damage, that would be the ultimate weapon
You can't argue that it NEEDS a buff though. I get what you mean by it being a novelty but it still needs a buff. It needs more ammo, a slightly quicker reload time and it needs to have the sniper glint removed.
Sniper glint definitely needs corrected. An ammo buff would be nice, since even with extra ammo granting items you only get 2.5 magazines (1 + 1.5 spare, aka 6+6+3), but I'm not sure about needing.
Reload speed, I'm not sure. I've not had big problems with the reload speed, but I haven't compared it to others in it's class either.

You shouldn't listen to your brother because he's 100% wrong. It and every shotgun in the game actually got a [b]buff[/b] in PvE so the gun is even better than it was a couple months ago, it's a B-grade exotic IMO. It's fun to use too.

Shotguns got a 100% damage buff in PvE I think two updates ago so yeah it's a good weapon now don't use it against bosses like you said tho
