Crota double loot drop on Titan
12 possible loot drops, no raid primary weapons...
Crota better give me a fucking scout rifle or handcannon on my warlock or hunter.
I love having 200+ both intellect and discipline and only like 6 for strength
Already had two or three people leaving on me yesterday for hard mode Crota's Crota's cp due to me being "level 30" and I get the "oh whoops I will be back " than *leaves* bullshit. This hasn't happened to me before but three times yesterday on the xbox one so gonna try finding some people to help me.

If you're level 30, you won't be contributing much during hard mode Crota. The final fight is difficult, even with 32s

Alright thanks for the input... just disappointed I won't be able to beat crota til 32 which will take me Forever considering I only play as one character and radiant shards only drop from CE raid. Oh well anyways gonna keep doing VoG hard until I get the Vex, plus Damn you bungie for the stupid as hell bullet sponges on CE hard for Crota's fight.

You can grind to 31 with vendor gear, and then start doing normal crota til 32
Whats the best way to get shards besides doing daily heroic/events? I really scraped the bottom of the barrel to get all my characters to 30, and I want to get at least one character to 31 before I try the raid.

Best way to get Ascendant Materials is doing Vault of Glass. If you're worried about only being 30 for VoG, don't be. Crota's End though, yeah, 31 is going to be what you want to aim for before going in.

Ehh no thanks rather do CE on Normal as a 30 considering I just need the chest and helmet plus tons of radiant shards and I will be set. Never mind might as well get to 31 before I do normal CE.

Nothing specific to announce at this time, but the mistakes we made with the DLC1 reward economy will not be repeated:
Mistakes like:
Vendor gear invalidating the effort of VOG Raiders
Upgrading an Exotic reseting its talents
Our philosophy about rewards/loot continue to evolve as we see how players play and react.
We will continue to improve acquisition stories and frequency (My understanding of the perception is that Crota's End drop rates are much improved vs. Vault of Glass: footnote below), lessen the grind and get players to the fun parts of their arsenal faster.
On CE drop rates vs. VOG:
The Forever 29 meme was a killer for us.
We sat down and talked about the rewards for VoG and the rates vs. CE and ended up with the following:
increase drop rates globally in CE: we wanted dedicated players to be around 32 or real close by the time Hard mode came out.
increase the variability of perks that a given piece can roll.
the goal here: players would reach 32 easier than 30, but would have more customization and options to build the perfect set (in terms of stats, perks, weapon affinities)
The part where this didn't work as well as we'd hoped is with the Shard economy. Shards are a are a barrier between you and equipping a sweet new piece of gear.
We want fewer barriers to equipping upgrades. The shard economies erect these barriers between players and the new piece of gear they just got.
We're not intending to adjust the shard economy for this Tier -- we don't want to invalidate player effort (again). But removing the barrier between that new drop you're excited to get and actually being able to equip it as a member of your arsenal are something we will do going forward.

grind strike playlists and dailies for marks/rep and buy vendor gear, repeat until 26 and start doing VoG, repeat until 30 and start doing hard VoG, repeat until 31 and start doing Crota, repeat until 32 and start doing hard Crota, then stop playing the game

Me and my brother are currently spamming the shit out of Crucible matches to grind rep to...level two I think, which gives us a crucible commendation token. Which we can then use in addition to our Crucible Marks, to buy one item of Crucible weaponry or armour. I think.
Fucking a, I wish someone would help me do VOG/nightfall/weeklies on xbone.
Tried to do VoG normal with a friend and some random people, random people leaved 5 seconds after they joined for some reason and we got fucked :v
I kinda dislike the forced social aspect of destiny, if you dont have a group of people to play with you are pretty much fucked since a huge amount of activities require groups

Use LFG and/or /r/fireteams to find groups. You need a mic for raid in case your not using one an you want to be level 28 if you can, 26 minimum, but people might not except you at that level since its easy to get to 31.
Just bought the game, I'm enjoying it so far. Is it worth my time to just keep running the first Strike over and over again to get a lot of Green gear? I'm not sure how the XP works out but I imagine it's not more efficient than just playing story missions.
I ended up in a strike with a random black guy who started hitting on me, than said that he wanted to voice chat and that he'd "tell me what I wanted to hear." [sp]I'm a 16 year old male. I instantly left the strike after he said that cause I figured that if I stayed there he'd keep trying to make moves.[/sp]
Than again, the main reason he might have came after me was because I was playing as a Exo Female and had the pink/whitish shader on.
Should have stayed and tried to get him to give you gear.

Can't trade in game, Bungie never put it in because it most likely ended up being high level players instantly giving exotics to people as soon as they reach rank 20.

Just got another legendary LMG drop a couple minutes ago, the culling, a fwc lmg. The fire rate is retarded, its got the persistence perk, a bigish clip, skip rounds and surplus.
