It's definitely a good perk, but nothing comes close to the Gjallahorn.

Well to be fair VoG wasn't supposed to release with the vanilla game. But yeah last gen fucked us.

Ran the NF last night with my buddies. I got my 4th Dragons breath, another guy got NLB, and the third guy got a legendary Scout rifle.

I got an Etheric light, a random legendary pulse rifle, and a Claws of Ahamkara, which I'm happy about because now I'm only missing 3 exotics.
Just did prison of elders for the first time with some friends, and holy shit. I've never been that stressed over a video game before, my hands were drenched in sweat. Totally worth the frustration though since I ended up getting my first exotic weapon, Suros Regime.
Thunderlord is actually not terrible. I haven't really used it much until today in Iron banner.

Everyone gets an exotic weapon for their first run, then there is a small chance of exotics every other time you run it.
What level are you? Nightfall this week is pretty easy, and you're guaranteed good loot.

Grind some Vanguard Marks and buy some gear from the Vanguard store. Should take you to about 31. Then you could find someone to run the nightfall with you'll just be a bit underleveled.

Thunderlord is incredible, during Arc Burn youre doing well over 1.5k a shot.
My against all odds has higher impact than tlord and arc too. My fang does even more damage iirc.
Against All Odds is an incredible machine gun and with Field Scout its mag size goes up to 50, too bad you can't get it anymore after HoW came out
