I feel like every time I play the Crucible, everyone gets a legendary or exotic except me.
Got my etheric light and level 34, never touching crucible again.
I'm burned out on Destiny, played it viciously for like 2 months now but since I got almost everything and have 2 characters on 34, I don't feel inclined to do anything. I've done everything so many times and the pvp is currently not that enjoyable due to most players using the same weapons.
Furthermore the Taken King is really expensive and I don't feel like getting it.

It's as much as a retail game here. Not getting it until the price goes down somewhere.

They want 40 bucks for what is a "new game" (their literal words)
Aka a new raid, patrol and some new strikes and maps.. Oh and don't forget the new classes to do almost nothing new with

You're absolutely right, but I feel like I totally got my moneys worth for HoW. Dark Below would barely be worth $10, but considering how much more content TTK is gonna have over HoW I'm willing to be open to the idea of a $40 expansion.

I think that they'll have a hard time justifying the dlc packs that come after Taken King.

HoW was a great addition to Destiny in my opinion but if you look at it objectively, they didn't add anything spectacularly new or original. Most of the new content are reused assets, Trials is not offering anything original and frankly PoE is just a few arenas with modifiers.
I'm glad that there is new dialogue, good loot and new social area. It makes it feel more like a real dlc instead of just adding some stuff. HoW feels more like a complete package. Don't get me wrong though, I enjoyed HoW quite a bit but it didn't change to much or added much completely original content. The issue is that you burn out on new content so fast.
As for Taken King, it looks quite great but honestly Bungie always makes quite overblown statements about their future content and plans. TTK currently costs as much as a completely new game and the content will probably not come close to the initial Destiny content, which wasn't already much. As much as I like playing this game but it just feels like the devs/publisher just want to get the maximum amount of profit out of their customers while carefully not trying to cause a major uproar in the community. I have never played a game with a community that was that much being exploited in a way, sure it's a business but it just feels outright greedy.
I just like buying a game and having a good amount of content where I don't feel the need to evaluate what type of content I get and measure if it's actually worth it, which I always felt while playing Destiny because the content is so sparse and often reused.

You're right, I think it's different for people who don't use USD because Activision decided to make it 40 euros/pounds too, which is so stupid its appalling
Ran VoG HM with 2 people who've never done it before and it took us an hour just to do the Oracles. Then another Hour to finish it off.
Would have been easier if the two had better weapons.

No, it's very average compared to the VoC.
The target mark is nearly trash and doesn't even really help at all, and you shouldn't need it.
Need to run a bunch of VoG's tomorrow get enough energies to upgrade my Found Verdict and VoC.
Should be fine with the 260 VoC if it's a Solar nightfall tomorrow though. Was helping someone do the Nightfall after I got the VoC and it was doing a nice 2k a headshot.
The biggest differences between fang and VoC is VoC is full auto and Fang has third eye. Except for burns they do the same damage. VoC shoots slightly faster because its full auto, but the stats are more or less identical
VoC does not shoot faster
Grinded my dick off getting glimmer before the reset and bought both chest armor variants before reset and another etheric light right at the reset. Bought a Jolders last night and didn't care for a no impact pulse rifle so didn't grind the last level out. Got another gheleons last night too, came with luck in the chamber and crowd control so its getting worked on.
