I've figured it out! The Crucible factions have an item that you can buy for Glimmer that converts crucible reputation into reputation for them! Only problem is I still need to get them to level2/3 and I also need to hit Crucible 3 so I can get Crucible Commendations to buy the FWC's helmet.

Found another cut/scrapped room in Old Russia, probably related to Rasputin at some point due to how the entrance door looks like the one to his vault

This possible entrance might actually be how the hive got into his vault in TDB missions. We came in through how we got in and story wise, that zone might've been an alternate route that the hive found..

Finally finished crota! Now I have crotas hunger, the cryp shader, and the the helmet
So i'm looking to maybe get back into it, what can i do right now without the Dork Below? i've got my 28 lock from the first A-Team run against VoG, i did randomly get a 330 gun, so that's neat. And is the DLC worth it for non-raid content for its price currently? Or is it just better to grind with what i've got right now, get myself to 30 with the vanguard stuff?
Am I understanding this right? I buy a faction sash to wear, it converts crucible rep gained into faction rep. But to buy body pieces, helms and guns I need crucible commendations so I need to...grind to level three with the faction, then remove the sash and carry on with crucible rep to get commendations?

With all vanguard stuff you'll hit level 31. In your current dlc situation you can't do like a third of the nightfalls since they rotate FUCKING OMNIGUL in every third week. The new raid is really fun the first few times, it doesn't really linger like VoG does, but it's still really fun.

I mean permanent as in from start to finish of raid. Sick of being bailed on mid raid having to find replacement. We scheduled to play vog 26 Wednesday

Why does no one use the interceptors against the tank on the Cerberus vae strike? You can ram the other guard captains with them too.

Icebreaker. How have you possibly obtained a 300 damage Ice Breaker, though? Unless you found one from RNG before The Dark Below, or you kept the one from Xur back in September. Even then, he's had upgrades for the gun a few times, too. :v:
