You can try it at 28 but you're absolute dead weight, you'll be killed instantly and barely do any damage.

Managed to go 21-0 without Mercy in Trials last night with my buds, got 2 flawlesses and 3-0 on my last character. Got two Jewels of Osiris, solar and void.
Wanted a messenger, but this was still my best trials week.

Eh nothing ever came together anyways. Gotta work till wednesday so unless I have an early night probably not till then.
Being dead weight wont be a problem, since you'd only be able to do normal anyways. But if you can start grinding the strike playlist sfor marks so you can buy some armor from the vanguard. That should get you to 32.
slowly gathering marks already, currently at 88. accidentally bought a new monarchy cloak early on and realized I'd need crucible marks in their place so that's collecting dust at the moment.
is there a handy dandy list of cool stuff that's dropped/rewarded from various strikes/raids or is loot 100% random across the board
also I have terrible RNG luck, the moment I buy something worth a lot of my time I'll get a goddamn drop for the same slot armor or weapon, any game I play. I've gotten a legendary shotgun and pulse rifle, chestpiece, and a rocket launcher, and 75% of all the blue engram drops are for chest, heavy, and special weapons

That cloak isn't completely useless if you don't play Crucible, every time you rank up a faction past rank 3 (including Vanguard and Crucible) you get a random legendary from that faction in the mail

I got the obsidian mind exotic helmet from last weekends Xur exotic engram; pretty happy.
Was able to get the sexy warlock helmet from trials of osiris too; but I fucking hate thorn in PvP. I was only able to make it to round 5 with random people I was joining off destinyLFG

so I manned up and bought my first piece of vanguard armor, some fancy arms because that was my weakest rare armor at the time of purchase. As I bought it, I was thinking [I]intensely [/I]about this post and how I just know I'm going to get some other legendary arms within the next day
so I went and played Prison of elders for the first time and just barely squeaked through (full party wipe at one point, but one of the guys respawned as the 3-second timer hit 0 and it faded to black before fading back in)
saw purple in my rewards, and

In the future, legendary arms and boots tend to drop more than legendary helmets and chest pieces, so i would recommend buying your chest/helmet first.
Destiny is kicking me out over and over again. Saying their servers are down. This game is getting kind of annoying.
