Communication should never be a required thing in video games.
i actually can't tell if you are joking
i actually can't tell if you are joking
I think he might be joking, but even if it was a joke it isn't funny
Destiny should have just had a LFG system built in though. should have had it from day 1 The match making is useful but picking and choosing what is and isn't match made is just a dumb design element. And matchmaking on raids is debatable imo, I think it could work really well if you had to unlock match making by doing the raid at least once, probably twice for hardmode.
I'm not joking. I don't want to talk to a bunch of people I don't know.
I'm not joking. I don't want to talk to a bunch of people I don't know.
sorry that every game doesn't conform to your specific antisocial needs
I'm not joking. I don't want to talk to a bunch of people I don't know.
Then don't play Raids that are specifically for playing with people you know and have to communicate with??? It's like complaining about the crucible for not being single player.

Then use lfg
Solo Crotas end then if you wanna do raids alone?
What I'm trying to get at, is that raids should be designed for EVERYONE. Not just friends.
Honestly, why? Every other part of the game is designed for solo play, Raids are supposed to be endgame content that requires both personal skill, but mostly team play.
What I'm trying to get at, is that raids should be designed for EVERYONE. Not just friends.
If it was designed for everyone then they'd be just like strikes; shooting enemies in corridors. Raids are not that, they are more complex and require a full team of 6 to cooperate to complete or you're not gonna complete it. What you're arguing right now doesn't make any sense.
In non-idiotic news, Zero and I have now been in queue for Trials for around 30 minutes. Anyone else having this issue?
But we just went through crota without dying in a fireteam of 3. :v:
I'm not talking about it in your case. I'm talking about Lolzor who can't even comprehend talking to someone over a cooperative video game.
Bungie has said that they wanted to give it to communities to make.
Oh wow really? That's really stupid of Bungie
Oh wow really? That's really stupid of Bungie
Why's that? They did this so people could form communities and socialize with each other.
Oh wow really? That's really stupid of Bungie
Bungie is pretty dumb most of the time
So I'm getting a PS4 for MGSV and I'm wondering if this is worth also picking up? I've did the usual review checking and stuff and it gets slammed hard, but they're all from a year ago and I'm wondering if updates have improved on some of the issues it had on launch?

I would say I'm a Destiny fanboy but I still won't protect the fact that Bungie locked off too much content to sell later. You really do need the DLC imo.
I don't mind buying the DLC as long as what I see in the base game is pretty good. I should go for it then? :)
Hell yeah. The game has tons more content then it did at launch and Taken King is coming out next month.
Why's that? They did this so people could form communities and socialize with each other.
Because it just shows me even more that Bungie really doesn't understand the kind of game they made, it's practically an MMORPG but without the ease of communication that mmo's should always have. Communities would have spawned anyways regardless, I think it's just stupid to have a stance like that on such a core element of a game like destiny. They clearly want you to be social for destiny, but they don't want you to be social in destiny for some reason.
It's not really an MMO, I don't know why that is stated so much It has raids and a social space, but it isn't massive and explorable like an MMO
So it's a SMO then
It's not really an MMO, I don't know why that is stated so much It has raids and a social space, but it isn't massive and explorable like an MMO
Fair enough, but the main thing I'm getting at is the last part, it's clear Bungie wants people to socialize, make friends and have communities, but why the heck is it so hard to do in game? I just feel like I shouldn't have to have my phone or laptop out constantly if I want to socialize in destiny, or even just to find groups for weeklys
But weeklies have matchmaking, uhm
But weeklies have matchmaking, uhm
Not nightfalls, nor the higher levels of the Poe, 32 and 34 should have match making imo espcially if the bosses are the hive ones
I don't mind buying the DLC as long as what I see in the base game is pretty good. I should go for it then? :)
Don't buy it yet. Wait a month. You can then pick up Legendary Edition for about $60. Includes Destiny, First 2 DLC's and Taken king.
