except most of the trials of Osiris weapons are among the best of their respective classes
most of the PoE weapons (not the variks ones) can be rerolled into great guns, hopscotch pilgrim is probably the best pulse rifle in the game as well

Her Benevolence with Shortgaze/Hidden Hand/whatever you want/Performance bonus. Is probably the best Legendary Sniper for PvP aside from Efrideets.

Is etheric light still gonna be a thing after taken king? I was planning on putting a whole bunch of them in raid armor once I got a set with decent stats for each character. But now that light level is being removed, should I just save them for year 2?

The new level cap is 40, and it looks like light is being removed completely in favor of the traditional leveling from before. This is apparently so that players can choose which gear they want to use, without having to grind for etheric light.
The light system is unique but it's more annoying then a simple XP level up system like 1-20 is.
I downloaded and played through the demo a few days ago, now hearing all these awesome changes in the legendary edition I can't wait to buy the game mid september.
So yeah, going back to the Taken King for DLC thing i said a while back... after all this today i [I]may[/I] have preordered the collectors...
What the fuck is the point of giving us brawler on the nightfall if it's just getting paired with lightswitch and angry so you basically have to go invisible to sneak up and melee enemies without them wrecking you at the same time

I hate to admit it, but I'll probably play through the old story again to see how a normal xp system and a new ghost VA change my opinion. It'll make leveling up a warlock a lot less dull, if anything.
