Dunno if its possible any more but the best way is to travel though it on a sparrow which got you to a unfinished DLC area (but now TDBL is out so I'm not so sure what will happen). After you get past you walk back into the barrier from the other side.

You don't know the spot where you can't get hit? Take all the minotaurs out from above and don't jump down. Once they're all dead the Nexus will spawn and he becomes trivial as fuck. Getting hit by him is fine because you can just walk away. The only thing you need to worry about is the minotaur that spawns behind you and with a full fireteam it's nothing.

It's still annoying that the only relatively simple way to do this nightfall is by cheesing it. I never cheese nightfalls unless its nexus
Going to the first Crota's end chest to pick up some radiant shards for armor.
On both of my titans, it gives radiant energy.

Have 80 Ascendant Energies, but my main 3 weapons are fully upgraded.
Need about 60 Ascendant shards to upgrade my armor. Have 2, haven't got any from Public Events or strikes all week, just energies.

Lmao got a legendary helmet right before my cap reset so i didn't need to buy one. I am now level 30 though.
Noticed something odd though. I did the daily heroic last night(1am~) with some buddies, shrine of oryx and got my reward. Turned my xbox off and went to bed. Came back earlier today and it was still shrine of oryx, but I was able to get the reward again...

Last week he had sunbreakers for warlocks, I didn't want them and I didn't care for the titan exotic so I bought the exotic gloves engram. Opened it up and to my delight....I got sunbreakers.

To buy upgraded weapons from the weekend Vendor (Xur or something?) it says that you need the weapon itself to buy it, I'm guessing it's akin to upgraded Heirlooms in WoW, but I don't know where to get most of these weapons beforehand. Are they Faction weapons?

You only need to upgrade the weapons/armour if you acquired it before The Dark Below came out. If you got it after then, it is already it's upgraded version.

Bought the Light Beyond Nemesis anyway, took me up to 30 light. Have enough strange coins to buy the Obsidian Mind if he sells it next week anyway.
