I really like all of the new maps so far, they feel bigger and a lot more vertical than the year 1 maps
This update is taking forever to download, doesn't even indicate how much I've got left because it downloads the numberized content packs in a seemingly random order.

Well the light levelling will still be a thing once you reach level 40.
I really hope getting close to 240 light level isn't a painstaking process. Not having access to heroic modifier for story missions is really messing up the farming mojo.

double kill not double shot, just means 2 kills in quick succession, can also be completed outside of crucible

Has anyone experienced the error ce-37700-7 before? it keeps popping up whenever I try downloading either TTK, the CE goodies or the Hakke/suros pack
I don't think you'll get anything until you reach level 1 with his reputation.
Also I'm pretty sure you'll only be able to order 1 weapon. The field tested weapons could just be rep fodder, and not actual choices when the time comes to order the weapons. Since they're crappy level 20 whites.
I'm not able to download the expansion content. It just errors out saying the data is damaged. Gives me an error code of "boar."
Just too may people download right now?

Light is basically a universal gear rating now. Weapons, armor are taken into account, even your class item.
I think I read somewhere that 40 light is equivalent to 1 light level from year 1, in regards to how much damage you deal and receive.
It's still very similar, but imagine if year 1 light worked where a level 33 that was 3 quarters of the way to 34 would deal more damage than a fresh 33. There's less huge jumps in effectiveness, and it's no longer based entirely on your armor.
I honestly liked the light level system, but I guess I'm a minority.
i didn't like light equating to level, it made things confusing and i didn't like my level being tied to my armor.
Where are Eris's bounties now? Do I have to wait until TTK hits to get Crota's Bane rep again or something?

eris is at the bottom of the stairwell on your way to the crucible vendors and the class NPCs

No, I found her, but she doesn't have any bounties for me. Just items I can't buy because my rep was only level 1

I honestly don't see much of a difference between what it was and what it is now, at the end of the day you will need gear to make it higher and there will be things you can't access without it being a certain level.
Am I just an idiot?
