They're cool and all but I'm just not as interested in them as I am in a scavenger race who were abandoned by the Traveler and are now in a crazy power hungry war of politics, a collective bunch of teleporting, time-bending super-robots, or an enormous group of extra-dimensional, literally-fed-by-violence evil worm space gods controlled by an unknown evil force
compared to them the cabal are just a big space empire

So I was looking at old concept art pieces from a year before the release of the game and I came about two of them that made me raise a question after reading the Book of Sorrows

I'm really diggin' the new lore myself. It's nice that it's there to add a whole lot more depth to the Taken King, but it's not necessary to make sense of the expansion's plot itself.
[sp]I also love how the Book of Sorrow is pretty much one part grimdark epic poem, one part Oryx family values. Oryx almost flat out calls Crota a dipshit himself in the card for Lokaar:
"Who is this nameless thing?
She fell upon Omnigul, whose aspects multiply, saying
I am diminished. Gift me your death.
My son Crota came to me, saying
This nameless thing moves sideways
I chased her, and she fled
Kill her now
So I raised her to my court
I named her Lokaar, which means Not There

This happens to me so much, it usually always happens if it's a certain strike though, like the omnigul one or that wolves strike with the shank boss. I can't count the number of times that I've joined that strike and people realize which one it is, and just leave. Granted the boss is one of the most annoying bosses to me at least, all the sniper shanks are annoying as fuck, but really hate when people just leave a strike because it's not one of the easy mode ones.
Heroic Strikes are a pain. if you're trying to grind light levels and already did 3 heroics for the marks, it's probably faster to grind the 36 strike playlist for engrams. plus it's not as big of a deal if someone DCs so you can keep the Vanguard streak bonus

I'm having the same problem, it's rediculous the first thing you do when starting a strike is to check if any other players are holding their ghost out, fuck those guys
Players should be punished somehow for leaving mid strike
