Also, I have to say I ended up buying TTK this past week, been having a blast with the damn thing. I could finally equip Telesto and my god, favorite exotic weapon so far.

Is it worth using? I've just came back for Taken King and only have enough currency to buy 1 exotic and don't want to waste it if it's shit.
I really hope they fix Valus Ta'aurc not dropping loot soon. I can't get a strike streak going because everyone (understandably) leaves when Ta'aurc comes up.

There's a shit ton they could do (especially considering enemies' weapons are so varied) with weapon variety. I for one still wish we had more diverse heavy weapons than rocket launchers and "machine guns" and a sword

if you're saying that I can do that instead of keeping them in my vault, I know - I left most of my exotics while I chose what to move to my lower level characters and then kept the Crest of Alpha Lupi for my Titan for a bit longer to try doing the three seven orb fist of havocs in a strike for that quest

No, they are. It's just a shitty description. If you use one and kill an ultra the effect wears off regardless if you get an exotic. But the next time you use a coin, if you didn't get an exotic last time, you will have a higher chance of getting one.
Took me 7 coins/ultras to finally get an exotic. And then it was fucking hunter gloves :s I'm a warlock

So I have this Warlock armband that increases leveling of the Stormwhatever class by 25%. Can I get one of those for Sunslinger too?
Yeah, those kinds of perks are pretty much random. You can get them for any class

You can use Motes of Light from the inventory screen for easy exp I guess, but maxing out a subclass is meant to take forever
