They're meant for the same character and his plot line. I am sure he knows what he is doing and can multi-task and prioritize properly.
Ha, you're right. I tend to never follow through on things I say I'm going to do so I kinda project sometimes :v:
Just make sure the whole depression thing doesn't come off as overly whiny, Burger. As someone who went through several bouts of really unpleasant depression for roughly half a decade, people generally don't appreciate those who repeatedly complain about their life unprompted.
So my game seems to crash and become really unstable around Dawnstar. Huge FPS drops, stuttering, game freezes and random crashes to desktop with no errors. I can't go 10-20 minutes in that area without a crash while i can play for hours in other areas. Here are all the mods i have installed and the load order:

I've also installed some ENB from Boris that supposedly gives me better framerate or fixes things, as well as some other optimizer mods, and i start the game with the skse loader. Also i checked my RAM usage while playing and it goes up to 7.20gb and stops there, (i have 8gb) but my CPU usage isn't very high. I'm thinking it's related to my specs, specifically my video card. I have a 650 TI with only 1gb of vram. One of the mods could be really unoptimized or resource demanding and i heard the game crashes to desktop when vram usage hits 1gb.
So anyone knows or have any ideas what could be causing it? As i said, it only effects the area around Dawnstar.

Have you removed, changed or added any mods recently?
Also UFO is a bit outdated. You should get AFT or EFF.

Don't uninstall UFO mid-playthrough though, that can screw things up. I think there's a proper way to do it, but I don't know what it is.
So, how is the project of Beyond: Skyrim going?
So, how is the project of Beyond: Skyrim going?
Slowly and without much news, but I'm sure it still looks pretty.
Actually, good question. *googles*
Werewolf mods must be the hardest shit in the world to get working stably with eachother.
Ive been working for 2 days to get Moonlight Tales and Werewolf Mastery to work together, but wierd issues keep cropping up (Werewolf T-Posing). Hopefully I can be done tonight.

I did add mods without starting a new character. A lot actually. Are you saying i should start a new character?
And i suppose i could get rid of UFO because i did encounter a bunch of follower bugs, Sven outright refused to follow me in the middle of a dungeon no matter what i did, Farkas did what he felt like doing when he was my follower during a quest and i experienced many more odd things with followers.

adarrek that's pretty fucking casual compared to some people here

I know. I've been sort of running out of space on my hard drive to install more. My Skyrim folder is already 33gb. I just want to know which mods could be causing stuttering and crashes in that area. Or if its my specs. Or if there is anything i can do to prevent them like perhaps reinstalling everything or creating a new character.
So Rofl, you need any help with the character anymore? I'd love to lend a hand more actively.
So ive found out a Elsweyr mod exists for Oblivion, but I cant seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone have a link for it?

Is this it?

I don't know the support for it since the owner of the mod dropped all his downloads when he stopped supporting it, so there may be compatibility issues etc.
Is this it?

Thats it, this one thanks you

Were you the one that said "Try not to make the character too much like you?"
I took your advice and rewrote most of his lines of dialogue so it isn't too whiney. The only problem I have currently is actually creating the specifics of his story. Any suggestions would be great.
[editline]30[/editline]
His story is currently this:
His father was the leader of an Argonian tribe, Arexon(my follower) wanted to become a healer because his life was saved by Restoration Magic when he was a small child. He had these aspirations when he was around 8, but his father thinks that restoration magic is too feminine and pressures him to become a warrior to defend the small tribe. Arexon started believing that restoration was for female argonians only so he decided to take a different route of magic to make himself feel better. Arexon secretly stole supplies and sold them for destruction spell tombs, whilst listening to his father and learning how to use the sword.
He did this until he was 16, until his father found out and gave him absolute shit for it. Arexon ran away after that.
Not sure what to do for the rest. I have some ideas.
- Arexon ran away ended up crossing the border into cyrodiil illegally, where he met some criminals who taught him to fend for himself. He forgot most of his previous life in the tribe from constant drinking.
- His father's tribe came under attack by bandits, his parents ended up dying (presumably) and Arexon blames himself for not being there to try and defend the tribe. He drinks to forget.

No, I said the exact opposite. I said that if you want the character to be like yourself then to do so, I wrote a few paragraphs about it and that your story is what you want it to be and if it is a way of releasing your own thoughts and emotions that is fine. This doesn't need to be for anything or anyone besides what you the creator intend it to be.
I think the best help I could give is, what is specifics? Do you mean what you want him to be about? what he is meant to achieve?
If he came from a bad home life, has issues with depression and drinking, I think it would be wise to have his story deal with that, why he is depressed, what his life was like, helping him get over it, and realize the value of life.
This is obviously something that can go into many role play directions, such as making him callous and cold, clingy/dependent on a controlling player, letting him learn to forgive or to hold onto anger and hatred.
Think of a real person, how they go through these things, and how influences can change them as people

Okay you updated your post.
I think its a solid story but I feel it has a few problems.
I think bringing in the concepts of culture and gender roles is actually really cool, though the series has shown to be more progressive with gender roles and sexuality but regardless I still think that is actually a really cool thing to do.
The problem isn't any of that, its more so that I'm not sure how to feel about him.
I am not sure why he stole these things, I am not sure why I should feel sorry for him. In Option A he ran away and I don't know why he has basically taken to self-pity for things that were really his fault and as you never described it in depth, I assume his father was just really pissed off and ashamed of him, but nothing abusive. He ran off, and I understand he is ashamed but, this was entirely his choice. But I do feel that this could be an interesting plot-line, if it was about choices and consequence, owing up to responsibility and self-actualization and maturity.
In Option B, I feel its a lot more understandable, because it wasn't his fault even if he didn't steal and even if he didn't run away. Its actually fairly tragic because if he didn't run away he would have been dead too and despite the issues he had with his father, I think his family would have preferred him to be alive, all good parents want their children to live instead of them.
But I also worry about your character's story in other ways, it paints his father as just this guy who wanted him to follow a certain gender role without much explanation (which I assume you would expand on) and I don't know if you'll really define him anymore beyond that. Parents are People and people are a lot more complex than just A or B.

Yeah I'm trying to make it completely his fault. He's in denial about how he's irresponsible. He steals, he drinks, and doesn't like the goals his father set up for him. He doesn't think about others and doesn't like taking charge. He's a follower.
The player actually has a choice in how to talk to him. The player can
A: Convince him that what he did wasn't the right thing to do
B: Make a neutral statement, not encouraging him to change or keep his behavior.
C: Reassure that Arexon is in the right, and to encourage his lifestyle of drinking, stealing, and other bullshit is the right way to deal with this situation.
So far there's only 4 of those kinds of choices.
Here, have a card game. Now you can play a game while you play your game!

Nice. A gambling game with actual cards.
So I just started Boethiah's Calling, and with my luck with random encounters, some werewolf strolls up and kills the preistess questgiver lady.
Guess Karma caught up with her lying.
I was thinking of something simple and common, like dragon bones.
I can't count how many times I just gave my followers all my dragon bones to carry. I don't know if anyone else does the same.
You've probably already thought of this, but perhaps you could check for the value of an item/his total inventory and trigger the quest once it's over a set amount? Would stop stuff like Maverick's bread scenario.
That card game mod I posted is really neat. It's pretty similar to Caravan from New Vegas in functionality, though it's more straight-up gambling than an actual game of cards, complete with dice rolls and everything.
It's a fun distraction.

I coc'd to the cell the "interface" uses, out of curiosity.

#1 thing I'm worried about though is the quest breaking or something and the player being unable to retrieve his item(s).
I'll start with something simple, like dragonbones.
What's lore?

Also I got that Raven's Rest mod and the riddles are interesting but the 8th one is pissing me off because I can't fucking find the destroyed carriage it's supposed to be near.
I'm litearlly pissed off that a house from a house mod is this hard to obtain in Skyrim.
Hmm, Rumarin (whose quotes I keep posting) kind of reminds me of Anders from Dragon Age.
At least, before Anders went all emo in the sequel. So he doesn't. I guess.
I have quite a few ideas with my follower.
I'm thinking maybe if the player sleeps at his Inn or dismisses his follower while he has stuff in his inventory, my follower will sell it all for like a random amount of some shitty homebrew mead.
The player will notice and it will start a quest to get the stuff back.
Annoying or no.
Nice idea, but maybe reward the player with more than just the items. Gold or something.
