Something is wrong on your end then, they're fine for me. Open them in a new tab or something.
Don't hotlink from wikis, the picture size gets all fucked usually. Reupload the pictures on other image hosting websites and they'll typically get restored to their normal resolution.

how did i not know about this
Then again, the vanilla werewolves are rather boring looking. Those two are a lot more interesting to look at, even if they'd probably look really silly ingame.
Yeah that shit looks silly.
Sort of like the were-dragon things in Dark Souls that you get to change into by being in the Dragon Covenant.

looks like goddamn halloween masks
The way I see it, werewolves should be just typical wolves (albeit a lot larger and muscular), except all of their bones and muscles got moved around, dislodged and snapped back in place to stand on two feet.
So basically, an extremely painful and brutal state of being where you're constantly hurting because your bones aren't where they should be and your muscles are pulling in all the wrong ways.
Either that, or the opposite where you're a human but your entire bone structure got fucked beyond belief and snapped back into the shape of a wolf, although I prefer the first option.
Werewolves which are just big wolves or an acceptable looking inbetween are boring.
Seeing that concept art I'm beginning to understand why werewolves were saddled up with the Companions questline so damn much.
Still doesn't justify how poorly done that questline is but oh well.

The radiant quests system really trivialized the way the guilds worked since none of them are actually required to progress your rank.

Still looks better than the were-skeevers we got in the vanilla game if you ask me.

They look better as concept art but unless they gave them really good animations and more than one expression I think they'd end up looking silly.
Vanilla werewolves are super boring though.

To be honest that trailer makes the world seem awfully dull, Though that could just be skyrim's assets and it being alpha. It's a shame oblivions levelling system is awful because Nehrims world the starting areas are full of colour and life and wonderment. Speaking of which What is the best custom class to counteract oblivions level scaling I usually can get to level 8 but then the Daedra and bandits seem to one shot me where as at level 7 I could take them on easily

Then again this old trailer makes the game look ten times better

I know modding the game till it crashes is one thing, but I don't think "Modding in creation kit till it crashes" was another thing.
Not like the usual bug after a certain time, no. But editing some values and then crashing the CK within 1 minute.
Maybe there's certain imagespace and weather values that for some reason make it go boom? It's probably a botched install (Transferred from previous install backed up on a harddrive to save bandwidth) so now I'm downloading a fresh game.

i was going to say this earlier, it just looks like regular old skyrim with goat people
pretty dang disappointing
So I'm sorting my mods through LOOT, and I see a red box under, "Climates of Tamriel - Weather Patch" that says, "This plugin requires "ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp" to be installed, but it is missing." I went back to NMM and checked the box for Dragonborn DLC in the patch, but I still keep getting the red box. Is it unrelated? How can I resolve this issue? I read the nexus page for the download, and I can't seem to find the Dragonborn patch. I'm fairly new to modding by the way so sorry if I'm missing some thing obvious.
Edit: Nevermind I found the files were located in the CoT esm I'm stoopid.
Occasionally when favoriting a potion skyrim will crash any reason why?
So after beating the main quest of Dragonborn and going back to the skaal to start the Stalhrim quest, I realized I accidentally killed Deor Woodcutter at the wind stone (which is super easy because the fucking idiots constantly jump in front of me), which completely disables the quest. I tried placing him back in the village manually (his body was already gone from the wind stone) and tried starting the quest manually with console commands but nothing seems to work.

Check if you have any favorites & potion mods.
Check if you have any favorites & potion mods.
What do you mean by favourites mods i do have equipping overhaul which shows gear Favorited on the character it might be that? I've only noticed the crash when favoriting potions though.
After four years I finally decided to mod the one thing that I never touched, the main menu. Installed a randomized wallpaper mod to have the backdrop change every time, a mod that replaces the fog with snow, and another one that replaces the theme with the sovngarde music.
It makes the menu a lot more appealing than the boring minimalist black screen we got originally.
Is anyone else unable to download mods via Mod Organizer?
Oh wow, the nexus mod manager user server is still down. Wonder what's going on?
What a nice ENB. Why didn't I find it sooner?

As with many ENBs; too much saturation.
Remove the main quest in Skyrim and it'll be alright
Just install random alternate start, character creation&leveling overhaul, and disable fast travel, and it's alright to me.
(Additionally, install mods for hunger, thirst, sleep, coldness, plus ability to make own tents and campfires and what have you, just to make things more interesting.)
Still the same base game though, but you don't have to do main quest, although you may wanna progress it to the point where you kill the first dragon at the watchtower.
Other than that it's free reign and free to roam around doing any quests you want, or hardly doing any quests at all and just plundering/discovering the map on your own (including the dragon shouts), with up to 5 followers easily, while also having up to 30 NPC's "dismissed but hang around here" where you could quite literally make yourself an Orc fortress (or any fortress/home/place), with either custom NPC's or hand-picked from the world with the ATF-tool.
i feel like the "OH MORROWIND IS THE BEST" is just rose-tinted glasses tbh
I'm not nostalgic for Morrowind, despite what my Steam library says I actually played it after I did Oblivion and Skyrim.
While the combat is pretty clunky, I think the non-combat parts aged okay. But I like old school RPGs so I can't say I'm not biased.
We all know the best one is Daggerfall. :v:
does anyone know any good mods on the workshop that improve combat? enemies i encounter always are bullet sponge dicks that take down my hp really fast so the only way to play is to either tab midfight -> eat 100 potions or exploit the dumb stealth sneak attack system
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but the damage sponge stuff is why I usually play on the lower difficulties. All putting the difficulty up does is give enemies more health and make them do more damage so it's not really worth the hassle. (that is, I usually just stick to normal)
Creation Kit is still crashing.
Seems like whenever I open it I have 3-5 minutes of weather editing before it crashes on me. Even on a fresh install.

Yes, there is "Better Combat AI" mod, 5 or 4stars on Steam
Also "The Dance of Death - Kill-Moves mod" which can basically unlock weapon-specific kill-moves for any weapon, and set the %-based chances to occur, but this isn't what you seek..
You want to read what the "Better combat AI" mod does before you install it ofc. But here's something it does: makes casters/archers actually prefer distance, making wizards actually fucking scary. Shield guys will block&bash more, dual-handed guys are usually more berserk, etc.
And I think it also reduces the bullet-sponginess of enemies, making them less so, iirc.
I just play on Expert-difficulty though, where if alone without followers or anything, every realistically unfair fight is a bloody, drawn-out mess with me barely standing in the end. I don't even use healing spells at all, healing potions from the tab menu sometimes, but mostly just regen effects from foods lol which also force ~3 sec animations when used.
(Most enemies still seem to drop pretty quickly on their own, especially to my new Dark Elf guy who just burns things and then hits them with an axe.)
