Oh my! That's totally unexpected. I always wanted to try Redguard and Battlespire but couldn't.
I gave Redguard a shot, liking it so far but it runs extremely poorly (20 fps at most when outside). I'm trying to see if I can make it 1080p for a start, instead of whatever resolution it uses by default.
Definitely buying Redguard and Battlespire. I've always wanted to play those. DRM-free Morrowind would be nice too.
Let's stop talking about waifus and talk how ENBs make Skyrim look ok (with DynDOLOD at work):

what water mods you got dude?

If I'm not mistaken, it's Realistic Water Two.
Does Redguard run in DOSBox or was it ported to Windows? Last I had heard Redguard had game breaking problems running in DOSBox.
what sucks the most is that Fallout 4 doesn't seem to actually use this (it's noticeably not there with the dogmeat model.), so I don't think that bethesda even knows their engine could do this lol.
And those pics really don't demonstrate the difference that the mod makes, holy shit.

Actually to rectify what I said earlier Fallout 4 will actually have shells and fins, take a loot at this picture

Look at Dogmeat's back. It sorta has it but it's hard to tell with video compression.
So maybe TES 6 will have it.

I might see some underneath his right ear, but that could just be because I'm looking for it.
Here's some better pics of dogmeat:

Speaking of video game dogs, Dogmeat looks unusually healthy for a post-nuclear wasteland mutt.

They probably wouldn't want to heavily promote Dogmeat if they made him look like a Skyrim wolf.
Or worse, the Skyrim dogs.

GOG would have fixed those if it runs in DOSBox.
Or if nothing else you could probably find some MSDOS6 disks at a thrift store somewhere and use them to make a VM

GOG has a very liberal refund policy, so there's no harm in trying it out.

IIRC It was a DOSBox issue, not the game, but it's still something GOG could take care of so I'll probably still get it.
So for the past few days I've been editing RealLike ENB to fit my needs. My goal is to give Skyrim more color and feel slightly more realistic whilst making it still feel like Skyrim, or a nordic country. All I've really done is turn down the saturation and take out some of the performance killing effects.

It looks nice in my opinion, the only things that bother me is that the water has a slight glow to it and the windows glow way to much all times of the day. I may or may not lower the saturation a little bit more, but I'm still debating.
I haven't played Skyrim in a hell of a long time and the mouse/controls feel all sluggish and shit.
I forgot how to fix it. Any help?

:ohno:
:ohno:
He turned down the saturation on RealLike, which is considerably more than Skyrim's own.
:ohno:
The original ENB was a little to saturated for Skyrim in my opinion.
Yea just seemed really contradictory, for those that are unaware saturation is the strength of the various colors on the palette, turning them down moves you closer to grayscale (i.e. skyrim).
:ohno:
He wanted to give skyrim more color so he got an enb.
Enb had too much color so he turned down the saturation on the preset.
I like to make mine look like a clown threw up.

I might've told this one before, but
First time playing skyrim, I went into riverwood to see the kid being chased by his dog, stump. I, however, interpreted it as a wolf about to maul a kid, so I promply stabbed it to death. Only to find that it was named and everyone in Riverwood was out for blood.

I used to stream Skyrim for a while, and at one point I accidentally horse-charged Stump. It became a meme after a while that no matter my ranking or bounty in the hold, Riverwood was out to get me, since I couldn't get anyone to yield.

Might give that a try. Currently have "Stakado Cinemascope ENB" but it doesn't feel that good. Didn't play for long tho, barely installed the ENB.
What was good about Stakado's is that it included the ENB .dll files from their developer archive or something, not that they're hard to download separately.. But now I can just copy and overwrite different ENBs to see which works for me.

Or you take out the ATF-tool and snatch the dog as a pet for yourself, and let the kid run off alone, forever. This isn't for a 1st playthrough though, but the 2nd.

The official mods are pretty great.
I'm surprised no one has tried to remake Firemoth at all.
