I've just got the "Stakado's Shitty ENB" or whatever it's called, and it doesn't have Dynavision. Let alone any depth of field effect. Dynavision was one of the suggested mods to go with Stakado's, so that's why I thought about installing it. Plus I've always liked the DoF-effect, namely in GTA IV. [editline]1st September 2015[/editline] And if it's a "lower-performance" (actually high performance) version, meaning no FPS losses etc., then Dynavision sounds like the mod for me.
Daggerfall Unity now better supports the mods that translate the game into other languages.
I have been working through the character creation process screen-by-screen. This has required a few diversions to work on hacking some additional file formats and of course writing new controls for the GUI system. I nearly have the whole process finished, with the current limitations of not supporting biographies, custom classes, or the questions to select your class. These will be added in a second pass over character creation once more atomic systems are in place. The biographies in particular interface with systems like inventory and reputation, neither of which are implemented yet. All of these systems will come online in their own good time. One great side-effect of using the existing Daggerfall files as-is will be that existing translation packs by international Daggerfall fans should work flawlessly with Daggerfall Unity. This comes with the other side-effect of having the same text limitations as Daggerfall, but to remedy this I have created a text interface in Daggerfall Tools for Unity called ITextProvider. Programmers are familiar with interfaces as a kind of contract between provider and consumer. Right now, all text you see is being routed through the default ITextProvider, which uses Daggerfall-native string methods. However, it’s possible to swap this out for another ITextProvider implementation using a different source for text. This is still quite early right now, but should pave the way for more advanced translation efforts in the future. To mix things up a little from this typically English-centric site (it’s the only language I know, I’m sorry everyone) here’s the current state of character creation after applying Le Projet French Daggerfall to my installation. Everything here is running 100% inside Unity using a standard Daggerfall install for data. I'm prolly gonna grab ESO tonight finally after Five months of waiting for a sale, and the money for it. Are there RP servers?

I once saw a big group of people watching various RPers stand still and pretend to fight eachother for about 20 minutes in Grahtwood. Another time there were a crapload of guys dressed like ordinators hanging around a quest area "doing" important stuff. RPers scare me.

I was hoping TESO would have a fairly active RP community.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/1ZNRUZt.jpg[/t] Spells give off light mod, looks alright to me. Also got the Dynavision (DoF), which is pretty nice. And I need to fiddle with ENB settings a bit, to disable the Bloom effect if I can.

It effects enchanted items too though, and has an MCM menu.
Oh, thanks. I'll use that one instead then. Seems way better too, except the one I had linked is updated more recently lol.
Oh, thanks. I'll use that one instead then. Seems way better too, except the one I had linked is updated more recently lol.
more recent =/= better
Ok I was thinking RP servers since I played WoW RP. But that's fine too.
Ok I was thinking RP servers since I played WoW RP. But that's fine too.
Nope, no servers dedicated specifically to RP. It's just the two or three region-based megaservers.
In the enbbloom.fx file, look for bloom*=0.142857; Then add these lines below it.
Oh, missed your post. What does that do, exactly? Because there are a few settings (one in enbeffect.fx, other in enbsettings) that can supposedly disable it altogether, however I can give your code suggestion (which I have no idea about) a try to see if it give me a noticeably better result. [editline]2nd September 2015[/editline] Also, can the .fx files be safely turned into .txt files? Can't turn them back into .fx. Probably a stupid question.
Guys I need help, recently my game has been doing this weird thing where recently I get 1 hit killed by enemies but do 1 hit kills aswell. Ive checked my combat mods and etc but it changes nothing, Ive went godmode a few times though and could have that screwed up my game?
Nah I found the problem, turns out it was a hotline miami sound mod I was joking around with only to find out that the mod also has 1 hit deaths and 1 hit kills

THe higher the number, the closer to white the image needs to be before bloom is applied. Helpful for reducing that vaseline effect a handful of ENBs seem to have. Just edit the float TBloomContrast=1.15 to your liking.
Nope, no servers dedicated specifically to RP. It's just the two or three region-based megaservers.
Well that's fine so long as they're populated.
Holy crap this is gonna take a while to install, better get some sleep then.

I'd like little-to-no bloom. :v: If it doesn't work, I'll try disabling it as instructed in two of the files (enbeffect and enbsettings I think)
And it seemed to have worked.. [t]http://i.imgur.com/BlZi0wW.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/a0r7t01.jpg[/t] Not the best, but looks alright. The bloom is still there though, slightly. (Also this Immersive Spells&Light doesn't give off as much light it seems)

Also, you may need to toggle player lights off and then on again, sometimes it doesn't work at first.

Also oh OOOOH look at that, in the demonstration Youtube video, the guy has Spell Light Radius set to about 800 while mine's set to about 500. It's like 420 at default in the MCM, no wonder..
Holy fuck am I having a shit day. ESO took over 12 hours to install, and then I had to deal with fucking long patching. I get to 50% and it tells me I don't have enough space at all, I clear some, it does it again and gives me an error, I try repairing and it tells me not enough space, I close and open the launcher again to try to fix, now I have to restart the update process all over again. I am strongly considering a refund, but I don't want to refund a game simply because it's taking way too long to install and be ready to fucking play. [editline]2nd September 2015[/editline] Would I be a terrible person to refund a game, simply because it's taking pretty much an entire day to install? Even though I haven't tried the game out yet?

I had to uninstall it from my laptop to make space; not looking forward to reinstalling it on a computer later. edit: also i wouldn't say you'd be a terrible person for that, but if you don't have limited internet or anything i'd just keep waiting
Nah I can't deal with it, I'm just gonna refund. I greatly prefer WoW over ESO if it means WoW has a better time installing and updating. AND LETTING YOU PLAY WHILE DOING SO.

I know that feeling. There are so many games I wish I could just put in the mindset of "first time playing!". It's a special moment and feeling the first time you walk to Whiterun, the first time you go to Megaton, the first time you enter New Vegas, etc.
