I know that feeling. There are so many games I wish I could just put in the mindset of "first time playing!". It's a special moment and feeling the first time you walk to Whiterun, the first time you go to Megaton, the first time you enter New Vegas, etc.
Stepping out of the imperial city sewers for the first time and seeing the world is one of the most incredible moments i've ever had in gaming.
I remember the day I discovered enchanting. Then afterwards finding out I can NAME enchanted weapons. I made a Dwarven Mace called Thunder Cock with shock.
Uninstalled skyrim due to issues with crashing when using the inventory would reinstalling and remodding be worth it?

Seeing the place completely different was so refreshing.

If your're using MO, make a base profile based off what you want from STEP and then make another profile with everything you want to fuck with. [sp]Not literally.[/sp]

I guess I just have high standards but the environments look really bad Although this might just be a problem with them showing it all off with skyrim's default lighting which makes everything look extremely sterile, drab, boring, and washed out.

It's just that nothing really feels like it fits. Especially with Skyrim's water like holy shit why did they even show that bit
Still no fix for this crash... All I can think of is my current Windows 10 build is fucking it up.
I bought and installed ESO, but every time I try to start playing my character, it sends me back to the log-in screen within 5 seconds. Can anyone help?
Ahahaha, I opened the CK and just left it there at the default startup. It still crashed :vs:
I receive a quest in Daggerfall where I have to take some bartender's place in a duel.I meet up with the guy who wants to duel (he was in the same tavern so I have no idea how he thought I was the bartender) and he says to meet me at "Arabhira"'s house to fight. The name struck me as familiar. I named my character that, partially taking the name from an NPC in Morrowind. I figured it was coincidence that someone in Daggerfall would have that name too. So I ask people in the tavern, but I didn't have an option to ask where the house was. I open my notebook and had a horrible realization. It was at my house. Convenient, right? There's one problem. I don't have a house. I don't mean just in the town. I have no house at all in the game. I have no idea what to do. I think I have no choice but to fail the quest.

i want to be the nexus ceo so then i can ban any misuse of the term lore friendly. Although the problem is that I use lore friendly wrong in the sense that I use it to describe something as fitting well in the game as opposed to just the world. Like spliced dialogue instead of your fucking AWFUL voice acting. [editline]8th September 2015[/editline] even professional sounding fan VA's sound wrong
I think it's fair to be a little lenient on "lore friendly" because it'd be really hard for most people to find someone capable of doing a fitting voice for any of the races, or to check every little detail to make sure it matches up with the lore, and also because that can be a huge limit to what could be modded in. If there was a mod that added coffee and a café  in Solitude that doesn't look out of place, with an Imperial bartender with an obviously American accent, I'd be cool with it. Even though there's no evidence that coffee exists in TES and it's not really a medieval thing, it's something that could exist, and while no one in TES really has a distinctly American accent, so long as it's coming out of the mouth of an Imperial or a Redguard rather than an Argonian, it's close enough for me. But if you're going to say you're lore friendly, at least try, goddamnit. Bright red bikinis are not trying. edit: i consider all of trainwiz's more ridiculous train-obsessed mods to be lore friendly except the ones that are trying not to be, and will personally consider them canon unless a future game contradicts them
Akaviri
Does the author not realize "akaviri warriors" means giant cat dudes that make khajiit look like housecats, if you're lucky and cannibal x-com snake people if you're not?

I don't think I ever want to use another armor style [t]http://i.imgur.com/UJ7oS2o.jpg[/t]
have you tried searching for it on the map there's loads of people who just live in the wilderness
[editline]9th September 2015[/editline] Also goddamn it Bethesda I went to five different taverns to find this guy and the game breaks. I lost like 30 seconds of progress since my last save.
all mods are lore friendly because of CHIM [editline]9th September 2015[/editline] have you tried searching for it on the map there's loads of people who just live in the wilderness
CHIM doesn't work like that, all mods are lorefriendly because c0da. [sp]by whenever c0da takes place, time is royally screwed up, so there's potentially infinite different canon timelines, it sounds like there's only a few general details like the existence of Vivec and the Dwemer making Numidium that have to happen[/sp]
cannibal x-com snake people if you're not?
isn't that the tsaesci

If anyone would tell me, what are the recommended mods for oblivion, besides the unofficial patch?
So, uh, what was in that "load?" Last time I loaded up Oblivion it didn't look nearly that nice.
So, uh, what was in that "load?" Last time I loaded up Oblivion it didn't look nearly that nice.
He tells you at the top of his post. Your username is quite appropriate.
Vibrant Weather if you can find it. OBGE if you can install it... and Lush and Gaudy Floriana Australis if you want Cyrodiil to be more in line with the Mediterranean climate it should have Maybe the default ENB for grass and actor shadows- but it can conflict with OBGE so you may have to pick between grass shadows or good water/lava/other things OBGE offers (I'd recommend OBGE but it's much more difficult to install) [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/469797616842065025/6474C82D825A6CE2F2672C74EDF28601E52D7773/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/469797616842074870/781B41FFCA37FE16BF336C6187D408E3DBC3EB34/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/469797616842077648/067C49E43F19F4094F7846593843E4C03B86FBF9/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/469797616842657964/94807B9D5949A10C6EB13CB64A4E8081DE107492/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/469797616844095120/40A114E86CBDDC04CB56305DFA6EEC63387C9409/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/468672091586260362/7D0E6A18245AA6D9EFA55F2BBDAC0408BC086766/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/468672091586262908/44AE3B063AD6779F6D949083982ECCFD8CEC6E3D/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/469797616842071334/2542649C2901521BB35FAAB7BBC26B7F4741241F/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/469797616842067894/9F607054657DA67C66793E07655BE5D52C91DA2D/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/469797616842058977/CC6C29A7AA6934511A4B2B582A48EE402AE7E323/[/t] that was my last Oblivion "load out" but it reflects my personal tastes... in terms of gameplay? keep it vanilla if it's your first playthrough IMO
i want to see what the shivering isles look like with that enb
