If there's anybody familiar with ENB settings could they help me with this? Essentially I want this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/bfS44Yt.jpg[/t] to look more like this edited version where I increased the contrast in paint.net: [t]http://i.imgur.com/KfwrJUF.jpg[/t] If it's possible, what value could I change in the enbeffect.fx file to make it look like the edited picture? I'm getting lazy of just experimenting till I find something.
increase gamma, decrease ambient.
First of all, HOLY. FUCK. The diagrams in that mod description alone are hysterical, as are the pictures. Second of all, I've never had a better timed avatar change.
It's framework with an obvious outlet, and frankly the best animators in 3Ds tool outside of japan are all pr0n modders; since he also wants to do combat and a spell duel mod in the same way, the place to start is pretty obvious. Outside of people like trainwiz and t3ndo, LL is pretty much the place to go if you want animations done for your mod, unless you feel like paying to have it done by some chinese chick who will steal your scripting code to boot.
I could never understand why people like this sort of stuff even with PNV the overlay's were extremely distracting and obscured so much of your vision.
They would be better if they had like a 70% transparency
They'd be better if they were more like a vignette than a fuck huge overlay covering 50% of the screen.
How hard is it for the person that made that shitty helmet view to actually cut out a piece of paper in a similar shape and spacing to the helmet's viewholes to see that your vision is not obscured in the middle? Like for real, it's simple stuff.
Or better yet, helmet hud like it is in Halo, its just an outline with a tint.

A helmet would obscure the sides of your vision, but the center would be unaffected because the images from your left and right eye are combined in a way that you don't see the center piece without going cross-eyed.

This reminds me of how in metal gear solid 3 a part of your screen actually gets obscured after you lose an eye, but it's barely more than an asymmetrical vignette to the right of the screen. If this guy had tone it literally half of the screen would have been cut off permanently.

We've found one hiding in our society and now we have to eradicate it.
Alright, I'm reinstalling Skyrim and I'm planning on doing a personal Ironman challenge to add some fun and tension. Any good mods for Ironman?
Alright, I'm reinstalling Skyrim and I'm planning on doing a personal Ironman challenge to add some fun and tension. Any good mods for Ironman?
Requiem
The mod we've all been waiting for: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69660/?

Sooo I installed Requiem and I start the game vanilla style, I'm outside the horse cart, the carts aren't moving save for horses, and all the npcs are just standing around me. Someone help?
Sooo I installed Requiem and I start the game vanilla style, I'm outside the horse cart, the carts aren't moving save for horses, and all the npcs are just standing around me. Someone help?
Get an Alternate Start mod.
Get an Alternate Start mod.
I did, but then after creating my character I need to patch the game with "Skyproc" which apparantly required Java 8, which I didn't have. I opened the jar file but all I saw were files I had NO idea what to do with. So I'm not gonna bother with Req, do any of you have a good lists of mods that would be great for an ironman challenge?
Just install java? That's the simple solution. Req is a pretty great mod, imo.
I do not want to go through hoops just to get a mod installed.
I do not want to go through hoops just to get a mod installed.
...who doesn't have Java installed? and hold on, you're saying that "jumping through hoops" is not inherent to "installing mods for skyrim"?
I do not want to go through hoops just to get a mod installed.
I have no idea what game you've been modding, but jump through hoops is just normal for install Skyrim mods, hell, for any Bethesda game.
Ok I retract me statement, because thanks to Daemon I found a legit link for Java 8, as well as decent instructions on how to use Skyproc https://requiem.atlassian.net/wiki/display/REQ19/Installing+Requiem+using+Nexus+Mod+Manager Honestly by "hoops" I mean, finding a Java 8 install link that didn't result in my computer getting a load of viruses or fucking up my ability to watch youtube when I tried to fix my Adobe some time ago.

Look I'm here for help, not to get made fun of for my reasons to not fuck around installing mods and just wanting to play a game. Anyway I've run into a problem I don't know how to fix. I install Req again, and I try running the patch and I get an error saying "We are not in \SkyProc Patchers\Requiem" Even though I am in that folder :v:.

Now that it's working, share your stories when you get some good ones. Requiem campfire stories are some of the best.
