2.0.1 - Fix for the crashing on load. Related to the dlc issue, where having a dlc enabled would cause the game to crash when the mod loaded. 2.0.0 - NPC synchronization, positions are synchronized, idle animations, quests, combat, death, etc.. Fixed crash when loading a game, after disconnecting. Improved movement and position synchronization between worldspaces, locations, and cells. Improved customization synchronization. Removed some unnecessary papyrus code. Fixed issue where NPCs would huddle around invisible dead bodies. Fixed crashing upon new game, the mod will now only start after you have created a character, briefly after you first gain control of your character. Fixed issue where character does not disappear when another player disconnects.
Tamriel Online updated to now include NPC sync. Time to have my mind blown http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67038/? [editline]24th September 2015[/editline] HOLY FUCK IT WORKS
Shit, really? What's left for them to do then?
Improve what's there, weather synchronization, probably a bunch of little things we don't regularly notice. The fact that he managed to get it working in the first place is amazing.
Seems like such a small timespan he did it in too.
Seems like such a small timespan he did it in too.
there are programmers... and then, we have wizards, like whoever made this.
HOLY FUCK, okay, someone give a small mod list, since I don't want to go crazy with getting my friends to install 200+ mods.

Would a combat mod like Ultimate Combat even do anything to it? Or a mod like Ordinator? Hell, even CCO?
Apocalypse Spells Immersive Creatures Immersive Patrols Immersive Armors Immersive Weapons Skyrim Sewers Solstheim - The Lost Levels And maybe Morrowloot 4E Edition? I think these mods would work quite well with Tamriel Online. They would add new spells, new weapons, new armors, new enemy NPCs, new dungeons to explore and change the way the loot system works.
Speaking of figurines http://store.bethsoft.com/daedric-armor-statue-deposit.html Pretty neat imo. Considering the size and material, it's likely worth the price. They're also doing a Nightingale statue and reproductions of the statues of Malacath and Azura.
Polystone is cool because of how much detail you can get with it, but it's also ridiculously fragile and temperature sensitive. If you're going to get one be prepared to get really good at gluing shit back together.

How long does the Qarl texture pack take to install through the Nexus Mod Manager? I feel like I've been here for 20 minutes now. Then again, I sort of forgot how big the file was..

Then again it's such a shitty program that I wouldn't be surprised if it was creating some kind of bottleneck.
Guess I'll just leave it on for a bit then once I restart it. Computer is more powerful than most third world nations so I'll give everything a once over and try it again. On the plus side, fixing up Oblivion after, like, years of not playing it or ever modding it is super fun.
If you're downloading it via NMM, don't. Download it manually then throw it in NMM. Ideally, stop using NMM and switch to MO, Wrye Bash or even OBMM.

Downloading one off of the Nexus site (regardless of which program you use) is going to throttle you to 1MB/s unless you pay to use their fancy-schmancy premium servers.

MO since profiles, that is all.

Tamriel Online doesn't seem to work for me at all, but most of the public servers I can't even join and the one I can has everything fucked.
I started a server at 129.138.31.208, port 1283 if anyone wants to try that. Not sure if anyone else can connect though due to port forwarding issues.

What about aesthetic mods, like texture replacers or body mods or sound overhauls? Do those cause any conflicts with Tamriel Online or does it all stay clientside and the other players can't see it?
Those seem to be clientside and really shouldn't cause conflicts unless they have changed the hitbox of things a lot
Those seem to be clientside and really should cause conflicts unless they have changed the hitbox of things a lot
you could fill your game with fetish mods and no one would know
