The Elder Scrolls Megathread XVII: Paid Mods? Not in My Community.

IC is fine as long as you don't have conflicting spawns or cell mods. (custom houses, custom enemy camps etc)
In my experience, IC has had a bad habit of spawning super monsters with HP in the thousands that are practically unkillable unless you paralyze them and throw them off a significant height. I fought with that for awhile trying to figure out what was causing it before I just got rid of the damn thing.
I've been playing Skyrim over the past few days, and is there any mod that balances the ridiculous difficulty curve? I'm sick to death (no pun intended) of having to abandon quests because some unkillable Draugr Deathlord showed up.

Skyrim has a difficulty curve?
Skyrim has a difficulty curve?
I would say that being challenged by the Draugr at level 2 and being destroyed by a single enemy at level 19 is a difficulty curve, even if the standard enemy won't put up much of a fight.
Are there any mods that make the fire and frost impacts hd as well as the spells themselves (like ultimate fire)? I swear I saw a few before but now I can't find any.

i vaguely recall it having some major performance issues but i dunno
Frankly speaking, aside from Apocalypse and Creatures your list is absolute shit.
Hothtrooper makes some of the buggiest and bloated/script lagging shit ever, and Immersive patrols will kill your save guaranteed, it's only a matter of when. Same for Sewers.
What's wrong with Skyrim Sewers, though? The version I've always used (4.0, no navmesh option) doesn't modify any of the vanilla worldspaces aside from placing sewer grates in a few places.
Thanks for the information about Immersive Patrols.
Wow

Never imagined realtime reflections would actually fit in a game like daggerfall

It's not the navmeshes themsevles (unless they're dirty or leaking then actually it is) it's how the AI treats them, particularly if you have IncNPCs and IntNPCs. War Against The Thalmor series has the same issues, NPCs just react badly to however the authors decided to set up navpoints. You end up with people disappearing or simply getting locked into a place.
If you know consoles commands that MAY not be a problem, but again if you're in the middle of a quest, why it's an issue is pretty self-explanatory.
We really need some guide or website that details all the hidden bullshit details in mods. Some mods are like 100% Ace but then you have stuff like 'Wet and Cold' which are performance/save killers and you probably wouldn't realize it unless someone told you.
For example, we need a place that documents shit like the armor compilation mod which is literally just models pasted over one another with some pieces just having an invisible texture. Meaning that each armor model has a billion more polys than it needs.
Who join with a pre-existing character? You made literally every quest trigger for me. I was given a bunch of Black Books, a bunch of Dragonborn quests, started Dawnguard, and was forced into conversation with Serana before the Greybeards called for the Dovahkiin and my game crashed. :v:
edit: goddamn Dovahkiin get out of our game
I was actually half ass considering bring my existing character along. Since the current gimmick is I write down the events of my playthrough in that journal mod, then spice it up to make it a little more interesting and post to some fanfiction site, I figured it might be a good chapter to pull some parallel universe bullshit.
Good thing I didn't decide to do that. :v:

well it's not always up, that's fine
just message me when it is, i'll be on my other MO profile playing singleplayer (or in some other game)
Shameless plug, but I finally released v2 of my Argonian Fins mod. Includes ridge style.
Ugh, I can't bring myself to complete Wheels of Lull, it's so tedious to play and the levels are really annoying to navigate around on top of the backtracking required. There's also a couple of bugs (some requiring you to reload a save or resort to console), and lack of directions make it joyless for me.
Need to find new content mods.
What bugs?

My copies in tamriel online became blacksmiths
So, just started playing ESO again. How do I get Imperial City?

just mail your wallet to bethesda
I know I say this every two months but every time I start up 3.0 I'm reminded how insane it is.

Started Morrowind for the first time since my original playthrough honestly, I did the main quest back in the day but never did explore everywhere. It's great playing it again.

A pre-existing character wasn't actually the issue. Whoever it was was playing as the generic Dovahkiin character you get if you create a new game by using "coc [location]" in the console on the main menu; we think the issue was that he didn't install any of the required mods.

YOU LYING PIECE OF SHIT
WHAT ARE YOU HIDING
just mail your wallet to bethesda
Right but I was being serious. Looks like $25 bucks gets me 3000 in game dollars of which I can buy this?

What mods are you running? I want to give Morrowind another go and I want to modernize the graphics some.
Another Tamriel Online update
2.1.0 - Fixes for CTD's occurring when entering exterior cells. Fixes for duplicate character spawning. Improvement to npc sync stability.
Improved position synchronization when entering exterior cells. The "no pause" option has been improved, every menu should work, with the exception of books, reading certain books will cause CTDs when the option is enabled. Fix for jumping issue, where jumping would launch you into the air while connected to the server.
I think maybe I should reinstall Skyrim again for the sake of trying Tamriel Online.
Anything I should know? Do I need to worry about modding? I might go in on a vanilla experience because I just want to play rather than do a mod party to set things up.
so recently I've gotten back into skyrim and after piling a bazillion amount of mods onto it I got stuck on this issue
my vertical camera speed on third-person slow to a crawl when my character is idle
I'm not sure if I had this problem before and I've just never noticed it or it's a new thing caused by some mods
the last thing I've done to the game before coming across this issue is following a stability guideand installing enboost and a skse .ini tweak
there's people with the same issue on google but I can't find any working solution

apparently its the vsync, woops

You just deleted the install you made last week after rage-quitting because you were ignorant enough to install requiem, one of the most home-school-imbalanced and absurdly fetishized available and now you want to install a mod that literally randomly CTDs because you moved a wrong direction.
If dling a mod makes you rage-quit this clearly isn't the game for you.

But it looks like a fun mod.
It is a fun mod. It also explodes if you sneeze on it.

Probably shouldn't grab it then, I'm coming down from a cold right now. :v:
