What mods are you running? I want to give Morrowind another go and I want to modernize the graphics some.
All fifty-ish mods come from this one download. This mod is a compilation, complete with an installer that runs you through every single step, everything from art choices (grass types, tree styles, etc) to game design choices (darker nights, more animations for NPCs, etc) to graphics settings and graphics extending (keep in mind you do need a strong PC to run this mod to it's fullest extent).
In my opinion that download is the most impressive thing to ever come out of the Elder Scrolls fanbase. It's a perfect graphical and audio update to the game; makes it look beautiful, but perhaps most importantly, also fully keeps the game's original atmosphere and style.
I also play with this mod because I love it and it fully works with 3.0. Lastly, I also have some songs from Tamriel Rebuilt to flesh out the game's somewhat small soundtrack.
If you ever have any questions let me know, I've worked with Morrowind and this mod for a long while now.

I guess I'll be that guy and say that MGSO actually changes the atmosphere of the original game substantially-- though I'll agree it's not a bad change at all.
The biggest problem I have with it is that it's in need of a bit of updating-- a few bugs here and there, NPCs are forced to attack slower than you can because of animations, and MGE XE has been updated since the pack was assembled.
(It's still probably the best option if you don't want to dive into the ungodly disorganized mess that is locating Morrowind mods, though.)
So once again I do Skyrim.
This time Imma focus less on adding a shit ton of mods, and instead just maybe focus on mods for a stealth game, or just silly fun stuff for an outlandish playthrough of skyrim.
Is there any way to temporarily and safely disable ENB? I wanna see how the game runs without it and I've actually forgotten how the base game looks, so that'd be neat to see too.

Shift+enter and go down to where it says "disable Effect" and uncheck it and recheck it.

Alternatively; Shift+F12
Ok I'm still getting CTD's with no error.

How does my load order look?
Get TES5Edit and just run it. It'll tell you what mod is causing the CTDs.
Get the unofficial patches before nuking anything, ICit needs to be the bottom your load order.
Fixed it, just did a quick google search and realized I forgot to clean my save files because of that old save bug.
And it was while playing the game Excalibur.
...you weren't on a new save?
That's pretty much required for adding / doing a play with new mods isn't it?
yes.

No I mean deleting all my older save files.
Is there a stealth mod that adds challenge but doesn't make enemies alert by the even the squeakiest fart?

But I prefer my stealth kills to be more...intimate.
[editline]30th September 2015[/editline]
I mean I could just play as a sniper as that's the easiest stealth play possible, but I do prefer getting nice and close, slowly anticipating that sweet sweet insta kill with a cool animation.

Stealth killcams with daggers and other melee weapons are already in the vanilla game. I'd recommend using VioLens if you want them to happen more often though.

His point's that sneaking up on enemies to kill them upclose is too hard because they'll always notice you before you get to them.
Which isn't really a problem that requires modding, since there's a lot of solutions to not being heard when sneaking, such as walking instead of running, using Muffle, only wearing clothes or light armor, or using enchantments. Once your sneak skill is high enough and you get the Nightingale Boots the issue disappears anyway.
Hell you can be instantly silent right off the bat just go kill a 1 hp old lady in riften and BAM!! Free shrouded boots.
If you want something that you can disenchant though, go do the morthal vampire questline, movarth has some regular boots of sneakilicious.
True, I was planning on investing in stealth magics like Fury and stuff from the Void Walkers mod.
Speaking of which that Blink kinda feels OP :v:.
Scratch what I said a few days back, CTD happened while playing again, no error.
Mod list is unchanged.
I should mention when I reinstalled the Alt Start mod my character was in a void and fell endlessly. Also it had two of each race, and some had Iron Armor on their inventory.

You've got something fucking up the game's RACE records, or maybe making Vampire races show up in the character creation menu. Alt start doesn't touch anything that would cause that.

I think my best bet right now is to uninstall all my mods, delete all my saves, and delete the data folder and just use verify cahce to fix Skyrim proper.

Are you sure you have all the expansions and skyrim patched to the latest version? Download BOSS and use that to check for any errors and conflicts in your mod list. It should tell you what is causing the crashes. Deleting your save files will do nothing if you start a new game. They don't make a difference.
Here, read this:

I've played with 210+ mods running all at once before plus other minor scripts, and i had no CTDs or any major glitches whatsoever, only extreme lagging and slow loading but that was due to my shitty PC mainly my failing HDD.
I have all DLC and on Steam, Skyrim is set to be constantly updated.
Also I've decided to roleplay as a Serial Killer, any mods to make it an interesting play?
