Best to just leave all the hypersexualized garbage be. Doesn't really hurt anyone, and trying to get rid of it is going to hurt the modding community as a whole. Nexus even has a nice button to filter it out.
Also it gives me laughs
I dunno why people are so offended by it. I didn't even realize you could just filter it out completely with like two clicks, which only makes it worse that people are freaking out about it.
Also I hope Bethesda uses/refines that shell texturing mod for their next TES game. It could look amazing with a little bit more work.
Managed to get Oblivion running on my system since it was having trouble for some reason. Forgot how stupid you can make characters look by min/max-ing the sliders.
Sexuality is your enemy? That's a bit weird.
Time and a place, man. Time and a place. Having sex mods is one thing, shoving it down everyone's throats because you believe it's the only "correct" way to mod is another. Everyone's heard (and is deaf to) the arguments about it being sexist and so on already, but nobody seems to consider the kind of insult behind the mentality of "you'll only get this mod if we wave tits in your face".
How long have you been following this series for? Past Oblivion, and that was 9 years ago, you should be used to shit like this popping up pretty much everywhere in any RPG Bethesda releases. I don't like it either, but honestly? I don't think this is going to stop, even if you were to call in Hitler: 2015 edition.
Here in the US, we're used to being charged $90 to have a doctor tell us we need more vitamin A, people like Trump actually being a possible president, a fucking mass shooting season every year, and I could go on. Should we let all that go unchallenged to because we're used to it too?
Sitting on our ass and going "waaahhh" definitely solves nothing.
The probable outcome would be Robin Scott getting bombarded with hatemail until he cracks and takes down the nexus entirely. It would solve the problem in the same way that shooting someone in the head technically cures their cancer.
Not really.
Suppose Robin Scott does just say "screw it" and shut down the Nexus. That's the entirety of the Bethesda modding community having nowhere viable to go. Someone among the good modders of that crowd is going to have a server, PayPal account and the time and patience to found a new site. And they'll probably have better management than the Nexus has ever had (and hopefully better NSFW rules). And chances are, every mod that was on the Nexus will still be available to the general public in some form, because someone somewhere is guaranteed to have the mod and be willing to reupload it.

Except it doesn't work, because people either don't tag their shit, or it's a perfectly innocuous mod by itself but it HAD to be tagged because they put their bullshit waifu in the main screenshots.

remember when Megaupload shut down
remember how there's loads of things that are completely gone now because it was only uploaded there
I don't get it though. Why destroy so much because some fuckheads somewhere like skimpy armor?
I have no idea why I'm even defending this, but an innocuous mod is still an innocuous mod with or without waifu pics.
Also I don't wanna be racist or anything, but apparently here in the US you also hate and will crucify anyone that even comes remotely close to embracing basic human sexuality. That shit is laughably close to being stereotypical.
The part I find amusing is most of the people making non-creepy ultra fetish shtup mods are either married or in long term relationships, and most of the people with terminal butthurtitis or completely wtf fetish mods have never even seen another person naked in their life on a consensual basis.
I don't see how anything you've said is examples of you not whining, either.
The point wasn't "don't whine", it was "don't sit on your ass"
-a whole bunch of other shit that i didn't even say-
I'm just going to acknowledge that everything you said here wasn't relevant to my particular issues and then I'm going to drop the subject, before the thread inevitably resorts to personal attacks and attempts to cause me some sort of harm.
Sorry for preferring to keep that shit separate.
:snip:
Fuck it.
Snip.
I'm having a problem , when I go to buy Breezehome from the Proventus, he says "here's the key" but no money is transacted and I don't have the key. When I go to talk to him about the house again, he says it's still available if I want it, and the same problem happens. Anyone know of any way to fix this?

I'm glad the nexus still manages to get a laugh out of me
I wonder if there is a mod that makes every single npc in Skyrim into a woman.
"Give that fictional person with the character depth of a kiddie pool during a drought a new hairdo and the most generic face possible and I'd totally get romantically involved with that"

Probably more of a lover slab thing

Actually it's a baidu thing.
I dunno about a mod, but I love running the sex change command on Ulfric
Holy shit, I forgot about this!

I decided to work on it some more. I replaced a few of the low-quality soundtrack that I ripped from YouTube with high-quality ones. I might release it soon, if anyone's interested.
I wonder if there is a mod that makes every single npc in Skyrim into a woman.
I think I saw one before. At least, most NPCs into women.
I don't suppose I could ask anyone to give me a hand with optimizing Skyrim?

Here's a good one.
Turn off the shadows. They're calculated on the GPU but put a lot of strain on the CPU due to the way they call those shadow renders, so they're heavily taxing on any system.
Go into SkyrimPrefs.ini in my documents and add or, if they already exist (which they should), change these lines
fShadowDistance=0.0000
fInteriorShadowDistance=0.0000
fShadowLODStartFade=0.0000

As an added precaution change ishadowresolution (And anything else related to shadow resolution) to 2.

I should've specified. I've got a rig that's more than powerful enough to play this, but I'm still seeing some dipping every now and then and I was wondering if there were any tricks to this.
I mean, I've got a GTX980, 16 gigs of RAM, and an FX-8350. There's no excuse for my FPS hitting 30 at times.

Use grass on steroids, it'll help.

and bethybro is a sad excuse for an engine so it all evens out
cpu shadows
Wait, what? That doesn't make any sense. Why would anyone rig shadows to be rendered by the CPU?
Is that why their shadows have that weird 1px thin line of light every now and then?

I don't know whether to kill it or pet it

The aliasing is due to how the game renders multiple shadows together and dithers them, set
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=0
launch the game and then exit, if the shadows are pixelated then set it to 1 after making a save, set the shadows themselves to a higher resolution.

It has something to do with how skyrim renders the shadows on GPU and the overhead it puts on the cpu is really unoptimised.
I looked into it more and edited my original post on the matter
Also that 1px thin line of light is actually because their omnidirectional lightsources that have shadows use 2 hemispheres stitched together to create the lightsource, and the 1px line is a result of that.

I expected something a lot more terrifying when I found this scroll. I'm slightly disappointed.
Except you have no idea what's under the robe.
Why the fuck does the Nexus have to sexualize everything? Like, literally all this is, is the Magelight spell copied and pasted several times with the values changed, and they have to put pretty much naked women everywhere.
I actually have half a mind to call Sarkeesian and Co on this website, they have the power and will to do something. I don't much like her either, but the enemy of my enemy...
I get what you're saying if that's just a completely unsexual mod, but for sex mods in general, honestly, who cares? Sex mods have been around since Morrowind, and they aren't going anywhere. And why should they? For the record, I'm a massive stickler for lore and canon and roleplaying and realism. Frostfall, food mods, and other stuff like that are on any given load order of mine. But many aren't interested in that. That's just one kind of taste. Some people would prefer if their Skyrim was loaded with skimpy dressed girls with massive tits and an eternally oiled up body. And that's another taste, and there's nothing wrong with that or sex in general. Hell, if you want to get technical, it makes realistic sense from a historical perspective that they wouldn't be wearing underwear, real Norse didn't. So perhaps, in a less modest society without ratings and a human bodies are icky outlook, they'd be depicted wearing nothing. Hell, Daggerfall had that.
Anyway, basically what I'm saying is mods are there to tailor games to your tastes. Not everyone has to mod thejr game the way I like it. So, get over it. It's not even that weird, and people are acting like massive drama queens about it. People have been making artificial depictions of human sexuality for centuries, hell, millenia. People will work sex casually in to any medium that will allow it, and that's fine. If you're really surprised that Skyrim, a decent looking game highly moddable and kept up sort of with modern graphics, has people modding it for sex purposes, well, I don't know what to tell you other than that you're being naive.
I say go right ahead. Put tits in your game. Put furry porn and my little ponies in it if you want. All the power to you. I don't judge, though I will laugh at some of the ridiculous ones like that god awful Cicero as a girl mod. Hell, I decided to use nude mods for this latest playthrough, not for sexual pleasure but a mix of history is king and as a tool for getting comfortable with my own sexuality and eliminating the shame and insecurities I got over sex as a teenager. Only thing that bugs me is seeing that MxR shit shoved in my youtube recommendations.
And apparently chim makes everything canon so whatever
