So for Forgotten City to get into the abandoned palace you get on these coffins.. and then what from here? Can't jump on light because of collisions.
I can never get into quest mods
I have very unrealistic standards for quest mods because any visual inconsistencies or shitty voice acting (or some dumb design decision that modders are notoriously known for) instantly take me out and it begins to feel like a chore to experience rather than a part of the game.
but all those are in the base game too, i'm confused

You do have to jump on the light. Not sure what the problem is, I only missed like once :v:

Jarl Wallgruuf
Also Ordinator is so good it actually made me choose a Speech perk over a combat one
How is that even possible
edit: by the way, do people prefer iNeed or Realistic Needs and Diseases? I've always used RND so I could play Fat Drunk Nord Simulator but since I've done a total reinstall I'm trying to decide on new mods

I know right? :v:
I used iNeed before I just got tired of needs mods recently
They both fuck saves, ineed is more compatible with other mods.

mods don't have the certain kind of bad that the base game has

It's kind of tricky because yeah, the collision's bad, but it should be possible with a bit of luck
[sp]otherwise just tcl over like a scrub[/sp]
Also, does anyone have the link to that mod which would let you turn your main character into an NPC for later playthroughs?
It was something with a "hall of honor" with little alcoves for your characters and artifacts for the quests you completed
[editline]aaa[/editline]
nvm, found it: Familiar Faces
Anyone who played with this noticed any major bugs?

I have it so I can have a bunch of orcs and other obscure race followers that nobody wants to make and I'm too lazy to CK up. Works pretty well, though it's a bit fucky with how it actually spawns the NPCs onto the world. Once you save the data, you're better off looking up their name on console and then spawning them from there.

Its kinda finicky to use. The character saving progress can take a really long time depending on what mods you have installed and sometimes your spawned characters will just disappear when you change their settings. I've also had my old Dark Elf and Nord characters swap faces and armors before. Just imagine a man with the body and armor of a drunken-ass Nord but with the face of an always slightly pissed Dark Elf and vice versa.

Other than that its a really cool mod.

I spent some time playing around with it and issues are rare enough to... not be much of an issue. Worth trying out just for the novelty.
I could never get it to work right. My npc character would always end up in this pose and be stuck that way forever.

Any good combat mods and mods that make leveling and the like more realistic?
Also any mods which make stuff like cooking, fishing/hunting, and blacksmithing a bit more interactive/fun?

I know for smithing Complet Crafting Overhaul Remade should do what you want.

The combo of Ultimate Combat and Combat Evolved seems pretty good.

...Good to know!
On the Nexus front page is a HD mod for Meeko

Nailed it. It looks just like him.
Ironically it's called "True Meeko"
tbh I don't mind the many mods that change one of the vanilla dogs to a different breed or make them look very different; it was kind of odd to have all these dog companions but they're all identical. Though I do think that model would fit Vigilance better, and the mod's name is pretty misleading but the same can be said about most mods.
also this is only tangentially related but I think it's cool that ESO gave us a name for the breed of dog in Skyrim; they're either Whiterun Wolfhounds or Windhelm Wolfhounds. They introduced a lot of other breeds of dogs too; I hope some of the other pet animals introduced appear in the next singleplayer game. NPC pets are cool.
EDIT: Actually the mod's name is fitting, sorta. It's just a modification of True Dogs of Skyrim to have the dog replacer from that replace only Meeko instead of all dogs; thus, True Meeko. Not sure there's really a point to the mod in that case though, since the dog model and texture from True Dogs of Skyrim is taken from a custom companion that's an optional in True Wolves of Skyrim.

Reminds me of those mods that make vanilla characters "better" aka just making them look fuckable in the eyes of the author.
Perfect example. At least he doesn't use the words better or improved though.

How did he manage to give even the Khajiit the same face as everyone else.
my camera glitched out and got completely stuck in this position

it's like i'm playing some sort of oldschool isometric game
(that needs to be a mod)
ESOs on sale for $20, wonder if its worth it.
For $20, Yes. It's nothing like Beta now. And the mods you can have. Proper quest tracker, Mini map, Map icons, Even Quality of Life options, you can take that detrimental minimalist UI shit and morph it into something useful for an MMO
Saw HDT hair mod, doesn't work for males since MAH LORE, but then has shit like
which doesn't fit anything.
iirc at least some of those hair mods are using models ported from Sims 3 mods :v: (this may actually be the few hair mods out there for fallout i'm thinking of)
There's only seems to be one decent hair mod out there, excluding Beards and Dread Tentacles which don't really count. It uses models ported from Witcher 2 or something, so they look acceptable.
edit: reminded me of this

HDT can be useful but it won't work well for hair

There's one somewhere in there that's pretty much strictly a ponytail. It looks pretty good IMO.
Pictured here is a rare occasion where a mod companion sings and you can tell them it sucks and they don't guilt trip you

Who knew professional high-class salons with modern moisturizing agents and electronic curlers existed in a half-frozen, war torn medieval hellhole.
