Only games I really know of with it are STALKER and... uh yeah
Only games I really know of with it are STALKER and... uh yeah
Battlefield 3 (maybe 4 too) has it, Bioshock Infinite has it. Toggle-able sprint actually feels more comfortable than having to hold down the shift key with your pinkie finger for several minutes at a time.
Only games I really know of with it are STALKER and... uh yeah
IIRC Borderlands has an option for it but it's been a long while since I've played it. Anyway, does anyone know a place where I can get a cheap as fuck ESO? I want to go fuck around in it now that the game has been fixed up. And by that I mean I haven't played since beta and there's been updates to make the game more like an Elder Scrolls game and it seems bearable now.
I thought ESO became free to play at some point? Guess I must have read wrong

Well, if you are a fallout fan, I think you might have already watched this, but if you're not, you should watch this anyway. If you take a look at that ending kill in the video, you might notice how satisfying the bat kill was in 1st person with the camera sway and the animation. Maybe BGS will take this tech and design and put it into the next TES for improved melee tech.

I think every game should have a toggleable and a hold button for sprinting, crouching, going prone, etc You need the precision of holding sprint and holding crouch, but you can always do with the toggling thing for when you gotta run far or when you gotta hold some position somewhere. Wish more games let you do that.
I made some more ESO .webms, however they don't look as crisp as I'd like. [vid]http://fat.gfycat.com/ScientificImpassionedGaur.webm[/vid][vid]http://fat.gfycat.com/InsecureRecklessFugu.webm[/vid] This one has sound. [vid]http://s1.webmshare.com/E3Oea.webm[/vid]
I got one off ebay a number of months ago for $10 so I know that feeling. Feels great after years of really wanting that coin. Now to get my hands on that tiny little Ordinator figure that comes with the Morrowind CE. [editline]cvc[/editline] You will be mine one day, tiny little Ordinator. [t]http://i.imgur.com/uS5EFf6.jpg[/t]
I have one of those guys. He's awesome, I found an entire unopened Morrowind CE box at a yardsale. Stole that shit for 10 dollars.
Are you an EP Khajiit? Traitor scum.
AD a shit.
When the worlds as large as skyrim and the horses are as slow as they are you're going to be holding sprint down for a long time speaking of which, is there a mod to make you move really fast? I'd like to try to get through the main quest before I lose interest again.

Do you guys know any places a Canadian can get ESO for cheap? $70 for the basic addition is fucking dumb.
Do you guys know any places a Canadian can get ESO for cheap? $70 for the basic addition is fucking dumb.
Humblebundle store had it on sale for 20ish. Not sure if its still going.
Humblebundle store had it on sale for 20ish. Not sure if its still going.
Looks like I just missed it unfortunately. When I heard they got rid of the subscription I was considering buying it, but not a chance at full price.

Hey guys. I've heard that TESO has gotten better since launch and was considering giving it another try. I'm glad to hear that glitches were fixed, more content was added, and the like- but has regular gameplay become any more fun? I remember it being pretty boring during the beta. I'm assuming that Steam would allow me to get a refund if I give it a try, but <2 hours isn't much time to try out an MMO.
I know I shouldn't care about what mods people add to their game but I cringe whenever I see this mod being used. When did Skyrim get a modern day salon?
The witcher has a really good explanation for that. It's just a really petty and vain use of magic.

All of the new content makes up for the generic MMO mechanics, especially once you get to higher levels.

Only thing is it takes a LONG time to download, and part of that downloading will be through the launcher, which I'm pretty sure counts for playtime, so you may not be able to get a feel for the game and still get a refund.
ESO was good for a while but I'm kinda burnt out after playing about 70-80% of AD and 100% of EP. It doesn't help that my AD char is a templar which, as it turns out, I really don't like.
So I bought ESO last night! Currently playing an Argonian Nightblade. Are there any guilds/groups/whatever I can join?

Open console with ~ 2. Click on PC 3. type 'setscale 50' 4. type 'setscale 1' when you are done.
eso
Eww, thats what Khajiit look like in ESO?
Eww, thats what Khajiit look like in ESO?
They look like a good version of the oblivion Khajiits Note that males aren't forced to have any tufts or mane which makes their base model a bit better than skyrim's since they don't have these godawful permanent side tufts.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/XWhgOTe.jpg[/t] Looks good to me. They hardly have any customization options compared to skyrim though.
