ESO Khajiit have clawed hands and feet. That makes me happy.
Khajiit and Argonians get better with every installment, even in TESO. Granted, Oblivion's looked very fucky but it was a good base for Skyrim's really neat design specially for the super rad Argonians. The side tufts were a problem but easily solved. Hope TESVI gives us slightly more bestial bestial races. Having some lizardy feet or talons on Argonians or Khajiits with little cat feet would go a long way.
i just hope argonians get better benefits than breathing under water for a race trait
i just hope argonians get better benefits than breathing under water for a race trait
I wouldn't mind if they become a more Restoration and Alchemy oriented race like in ESO. It's a role that's not really filled, and I think it suits them as the semi-tribal, disease and poison resistant (they should really get that poison resistance back) swamp-dwelling survivalist race. Hopefully they improve Alchemy and pure Restoration mage gameplay in the future though. Being able to act as a healer to your companions without their AI glitching out and hiding in a corner until you both die would be great.
Just give khajiit the kitten paws they deserve [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/615030976666287150/A9FDA456F94E89475583451100B91B96B49599F7/[/t]

I hope next time around Khajiit and Argonian character creation is expanded on a lot. They look significantly different between ESO and Skyrim, with Skyrim having dinosaur Argonians and lynx Khajiit, while ESO beast races are more like Oblivion's lion Khajiit and lizard Argonians, but both styles look great; I'd love to be able to characters of either style. If they had to be seperate races, it wouldn't be hard to explain where they came from; Khajiit have more breeds than the known ones so there could be some minor variations of Suthay-raht that have the different facial structures, and in ESO Argonians are revealed to look very different depending on what tribe they're from, and the Hist has a lot of control over their appearance so there's loads of potential variations. edit: also this made me go to download Catlike Khajiit and apparently it's gone from the Nexus this is a tragedy fortunately the lover slab forums are inexplicably a very good source of mods that were taken down

I mean, the style's almost the same as Skyrim's, but Skyrim handled it so much better. It's a small thing to complain about, but I'm gonna do it a lot because every time I open my inventory, I have this guy staring at me. Just look at him. He looks like he just farted and is waiting for everyone around him to smell it. God I hate it. Such a mischievous, shit-eating grin. Needless to say, I can't wait for them to add a way to change your character's looks. They better.
I was bored last night after an RP event and ended up making a .gif of my character. Sure it'd be work since it's two races, two genders, but if they really want to break ground and make each race unique it'd be great. Besides, patching up boot models wouldn't be that hard either, just chop the foot part off and slap the paws on there. Also the lower slav, for all its quirks, does mantain a pretty good mod archive. It even has some really nice actual gameplayish ones in the nonadult section, like that Dark Souls Combat mod.
Surprised nobody has posted about this yet MediEvil recreation mod released for Skyrim, really well made and pretty nostalgic [t]http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/27/26265/TESV_2015-05-26_15-26-25-85.jpg[/t] http://www.moddb.com/mods/medievil-hero-of-gallowmere Released yesterday, and he patched it today too. Make sure to DL both  Didnt get much chance to play it, but there's no quest markers or real guide u gotta figure shit out
So I've been playing some ESO. After you get used to it it's really not bad. In fact, I kinda like everyone existing on the server, because things actually feel populated. I'll accidentally jump onto a bear or some shit, and someone with a fire staff'll shoot the fuck out of it. It's pretty great. [editline]1st November 2015[/editline] Not too much of a fan of the inventory system or selective "this is what you can loot" mechanism, but hey, it's an MMO so I can't really complain about that.
I dislike that you have to spend money to fast travel, and that repair kits are a little too pricey. Better off just waiting until I find new armor. Plus leveling up in the mages guild is kinda painstaking compared to the others.

Plus I'm not a mage.
Can someone recommend a guy that reviews bad Skyrim/Fallout mods? I like Novajam but he's pretty much the only dude I know of that does it.
Dumb thing to offer and I don't want to sound like I'm advertising, but if anybody needs help getting started in ESO or needs a bite, feel free to hit me up in-game @JadHinto with a mail. Run two guilds that gives free werewolf/vamp bites and tries to help new players get up to speed. Plus leveling up in the mages guild is kinda painstaking compared to the others.
For Mage's Guild, get the Lore Book addon. And you don't need to pay to fast travel, just go up to a wayshrine and use it instead of your map. If you're in a guild, you can also right click on people and teleport to them in the roster for free zone switching anywhere as well. Also, don't bother with repair kits. Just use the Repair armor thing at a shopkeeper, a lot cheaper. Repair kits are just if you're in the middle of a dungeon run and can't go back. I wouldn't worry about repairing at the early levels though, because until you start crafting your own armor, it's not a big problem.
Can someone recommend a guy that reviews bad Skyrim/Fallout mods? I like Novajam but he's pretty much the only dude I know of that does it.
MxR reviews a combination of good and shit mods, but MxR himself is as bad as the mods he features so
Can someone recommend a guy that reviews bad Skyrim/Fallout mods? I like Novajam but he's pretty much the only dude I know of that does it.
Alchestbreach kind of does but he doesn't criticize them Novajam is the only person that seems to call shit on mods
Alchestbreach lets on when he thinks a mod is shit but he doesn't outright say they're terrible. If it gets really bad he'll totally start pointing out issues but tries to be as nice as possible about it
so I decided to come back to skyrim after a forever and I'd like to start developing mods - what are the go-to resources to start that? I know the extreme basics like I'll need the Creation Kit and that's about all I remember

There's an official wiki with a ton of helpful stuff too, like pages for all the script functions. It's just http://www.creationkit.com/

Am I the only one who thought that the payed mods were a good idea, but just horribly executed by valve and bethesda?
Am I the only one who thought that the payed mods were a good idea, but just horribly executed by valve and bethesda?
yes
People getting paid for their mod work is a nice idea, but honestly the main thing behind mod development, atleast in my opinion, is goodwill. You lose a lot of that once you put mods behind paywalls. It also really, really doesn't help that you were paying the mod dev something like 25% of what you actually paid for the mod. That was scummy as fuck.
providing a platform for donations and encouraging said donations would be better than a paywall also giving the modders the majority of the cut would be good, if they got the entire donation that would be even better. Doesn't sit right that Beth would be profiting off of modders.

here's a thing

And mods are too small to be paid for most of the time, as you'd have to keep updating your mod so that way the customer doesn't feel gypped when their mods suddenly stop working together.
Tamriel online updated no more shitty scriptdragon. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67038/?
2.3.2 - Fix for issue causing players to not show up. Improved position synchronization. Fix for freeze on connect/disconnect. Fixes and improvements for mounts, non-horse mounts now sync. 2.3.1 - SKSE port, the mod no longer requires ScriptDragon, this should reduce CTD's and bugs. You may delete both ScriptDragon, and TamrielOnline.asi. Much less performance hungry server, with reduced crashing. Support for custom player animations, greatly reduced papyrus code. Activating anything synchronizes, not just levers.
