Is it a mod worth getting?
The visual changes are pretty damn good and the NPC plugin is optional, so I'd give it a "recommend". Try it if you're looking for a non-OTT appearance mod, I say.
[editline]adsf[/editline]
Keep in mind that the NPC plugin changes Serana to an Imperial for no reason, which is what caused Serana to "become part Redguard", as I said last thread. Go through the NPC plugin with TESVEdit and remove any changes you don't want if you use it.

I'll try it out then, thanks
So, after fixing the Z-Fighting (It was Immersive First Person View), I was able to actually correctly install Kountervibe, and I'm not sure if I like it. It looks fucking amazing:

But I feel the DoF is way too toned up and that there is too many effects going off at once, It actually makes it feel a bit cluttered in my opinion. I might go back to TAZ or try some of his other ENB's to see what I like the best. Any ENB's you guys would recommend? I want a cinematic feel similar to what I get from Kountervibe, but without so much clutter.
edit: I'm feeling it's set up wrong because theres no other screenshots of this ENB that look like mine, I'll be doing some stuff to see what happens.
Try Weird or EndorseMe, they have the same tone drying but unlike Kyo's they don't try to flatten the imagespace so hard everything looks like a 90s indie movie that someone poured a gallon of vaseline on.
Weren't ENBs originally just for pretty screenshots? They seem to be everywhere now.

I'm pretty sure they were only for screenies because of how demanding they are, but now 2014 and 2015 cards are common with people and they can run the games with 60+fps with ENB on.
Also, ENB introduced a lot of optimizations you can use without the graphic enhancements too.
I'd like to use a more subtle ENB if my computer wasn't quickly becoming an oversized toaster, but alas...

Ooh, Project Tamriel for Morrowind still seems to more or less be in development, albeit silently.

Not so sure about TR, but I hope that's still going too.

ENB has always been about shader enhancement since day one.

Never said it wasn't about shader enhancement.
Gotta say I'm pretty blown away by how flawlessly oblivion works with ultra widescreen and downsampling, perfect game for it.
Between Nuska's OCO, ENB and a few nvidia control panel tricks oblivion has actually aged really well IMO

Visually.

so long as you stay in the wilderness where the potatoes can't find you, anyways
so long as you stay in the wilderness where the potatoes can't find you, anyways
Foresters.
There is no escaping the potatoes. SUBMIT.
so long as you stay in the wilderness where the potatoes can't find you, anyways
OCO substantially reduces the number of potatoes
substantially reduces
That doesn't mean much when all are potato, though.
Visually.
Yeah. Still feeling that whole telepathic guard thing.
If an imperial guard falls in the middle of the forest and nobody is around to hear him, does he make a sound?
[sp]the answer is a resounding fucking yes[/sp]
OCO substantially reduces the number of potatoes
Except every time I installed it, some mysterious force screws it up and every orc has bright green shrek ears and third degree burn brown faces.
Also OCO's elves are angular tangerines at best.
About that Thunderchild mod that was linked before, how exactly does the meditation work? How am I supposed to know when to stop if the Stamina bar disappears? I don't hear any heartbeats.
Wait, the heartbeat is the vanilla low-health sound isn't it? Ugh, I muted those sounds for a reason.

But that Reneers guard overall fixed the ESP guard issue:

Just leaves furry ones.

STOP ARBOREAL SCUM

You have to try to guess, and I'm pretty sure your stamina drains at a consistent rate during it. Or you could just calculate what 30% of your stamina would be and just keep putting player.getav stamina every couple of seconds until it gets below that
I keep calling Falmer "Falmor".
I suppose the Thalmor are just as fun to talk to.
I once approached a Thalmor patrol, they asked me which side I'm on, said nothing, called me a heretic and attacked me.
I once approached a Thalmor patrol, they asked me which side I'm on, said nothing, called me a heretic and attacked me.
Wait, am I picturing this right? You walked up to them, and they asked what side you were on, then they just stood there for a moment, then suddenly "HERETIC!" *sword*?
[editline]sfd[/editline]
"Hey Mjoll, take that soul gem from that obviously-trapped pedestal."
*swinging mammoth skull bonks her for no damage*
"Anything else before you go?"

When they asked me which side I'm on, I chose <say nothing>
So Monster Mod adds huge "Black Widow" spiders with long, spindly legs.
Bugs with long thin legs tend to make me feel kind of... itchy. Eugh.
So what's better, UFO or AFT?

I hear EFF is all the rage these days
Any mods that allow you to dropkill someone like in Assassins Creed?
I once approached a Thalmor patrol, they asked me which side I'm on, said nothing, called me a heretic and attacked me.
Sometimes I'll see an Imperial patrol walking by with a Stormcloak prisoner with his hands bound. I choose to attack the Imperials and free my fellow Stormcloak captive, only for said prisoner to immediately take out a bow and join the Imperials in attacking me even though his hands are supposed to be tied up.
And not even USKP has fixed this glitch.
So what's better, UFO or AFT?
UFO is considered universally bad because of how badly it fucks your save if you try to uninstall it (which most people tend to do because they can't get the mod to work after they install it).
I've seen screenshots of a follower wheel like in new vegas. Is that an actual thing?
