level design is terrible and the creation kit is difficult as hell to use unless you have training. I just want to focus on the easy things first.
which brings me to a question
current options of dealing with Arexon after he steals your clothes and runs off to a bandit hideout

I feel like some sort of memer with the last one so im getting rid of it. does anyone know a good alternative to "Help me fight stuff in skyrim"
Considering what I think I know about your companion so far, I think a better option for his "kill" dialogue could be something like "No, I think I'll kill YOU now." or something.
Teldryn Sero keeps having his Flame Atronachs turn on him (and us by extension). I think he should maybe stop summoning them. :v:

I SWEAR I WILL FIND GRENDIS ROLOVO AND STAB HIM IN THE DICK IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP.
After getting a message that I needed to update SKSE and some confusing reinstalling. I can access the MCM from the game but I keep getting messages from several mods that tell me I need to update SKSE and I get a message that says it does not detect SKSE
Did I do something to mess it up?
Thunderchild is really good but some of the shouts are overpowered while others are just broken. The decoy shout doesn't do shit for me (neither does the blizzard shroud one), and curse will obliterate any melee attacker but will have no effect on mages at all. Meditating is really annoying and I eventually gave up on trying to memorize shit, I just trial and error it with a proper timer until I get it right (usually 25 seconds or so). It's really easy to get dragon souls. I think it's caused by thunderchild as well but I'm able to disenchant any amulet of talos, and the enchantment I get from it is broken and completely removes shout cooldown if applied to another item.
But hey, I can live past the broken/overpowered shouts, it's not like I'm using this on my first run. It actually makes shouting fun which is nice.
Shroud of Snowfall only works when outdoors. It could probably be a bit more clear on that, but it does mention that it summons a snowstorm. Also, Curse should be working against nearly everyone, since it's just based off of how much damage you take for the 1 and 3 word variants.
I have nearly 40,000 gold right now. Think I'll buy Proudspire Manor after I've done Ralis' quest just to be a rich asshole.
The Imperial City got quite the graphical upgrade in Skyrim

I hope nothing happened to my skyrim cause 10 seconds after taking this picture shit started fucking up and it involved artifacting and crashing
Honestly I still think it's kind of neat that they'd include various landmarks in the distant terrain even though you'll probably never see them unless you cheat.

I'd just slap the latest SKSE in on top of whichever one you have now, just to be sure

Just have it be like "Sounds like you owe me now." and the answer "Does this mean I have to carry all your stuff again ?"
Would you guise recommend this mod? It looks pretty good but it may be unbalanced(eh)
[editline]10th May 2015[/editline]
Holy shit translating this mod is going to be a pain in the ass
Whats the difference between a bashed patch and a merged patch?
A merged patch is just that: two mods merged into one.
A bashed patch is used for merging leveled lists from different mods together
Is it normal that some downloads on the nexus are bugged? Because I try to open tes5 edit or some patches with winRAR and it just tells me it's broken/unknown format.
Are there any mods out there that change the way summoning spells work in Skyrim? I'd like my atronachs/dremora lords to appear directly at my side, not wherever I'm aiming. It's a real kick in the balls when you're aiming somewhere that a summoned creature can't appear (like the sky, at a dragon) but Smart Cast still wastes your magicka by casting the spell anyway even though nothing happened.
So no, I'm guessing?
Y'know, all this talk of making a follower makes me wonder if, given enough time, patience, and the crippling depression that would follow, it would be possible to have some proper animations during dialogue. I know you can assign specific animations to dialogue, so would that just mean you'd need to make a few metric fucktons of animations and assign each unique one to the right line, or would there be even more work than that involved? We could have some actual cutscenes that way instead of everyone standing around with a neutral expression on their face. :v:

Eff has a power that summons (teleports) your followers to your side so it migth be possible by using powers instead of spells.

Yeah but that's really not what I want. My main gripe with Smart Cast is that if you set a summoning spell to autocast, it will attempt to cast that spell even if you're not aiming at a place where you can summon an atronach or whatever. However, you still lose the magicka required to cast that spell even if it failed to summon because you weren't aiming correctly, which is some top-tier bullshit. What I want is some kind of conjuration overhaul that makes it so your summoned creatures will always spawn next to you regardless of where you're aiming. But I get the sneaking suspicion that such a thing does not (and probably cannot) exist.

Oh I see. No idea then. But yeah I just installed autocast and I agree on it being kinda annoying.
Here's some progress on the sword, still no idea what daedric text i'll put on it. Also I want to make a simple quest for it, any ideas?

If you're going to make a quest for it, make one that takes the piss out of Bethsoft where the sword is only for a chosen one and in a shocking turn of events the dovahkiin is not the chosen one and you have to find who that is.
And you can bring the sword to a smith so he can make a replica that you can then use.
False dragon as text? :v:
just blatantly put faggot on it in daedric text
Paid swords, only in Daedric text.
Is there some sort of a timeslow mod that works only when you are pressing down the button? I don't want the activate and then deactivate one, just to slow down while holding a button down.
And you can bring the sword to a smith so he can make a replica that you can then use.
Speaking of, wasn't there a mod out there that allowed you to make replicas of unique weapons? I feel like it might have been a feature in one of the smithing overhauls or something but I didn't remember which.
Complete crafting overhaul lets you by checking an option on the mcm. These won't have the original's effects tho.
So shadows are rendered via the CPU, right? Is there any way to reduce the load on the CPU without switching off shadows entirely? I remember hearing that putting the shadows on low actually reduces performance

Perkus Maximus does the same I think.
So I'm planning to play Daggerfall for the first time, what do I need to do to prepare the game for the ultimate experience?
1. Avoid dungeons unless you are doing a quest.
2. If you are looking for quests, avoid any that involve dungeons.
3. Rebind your keys and set it to fullscreen mode so you can play the game without having to read a spaceship manual.
4. Don't install any extra quest mods, you will get stuck and there are no walkthroughs for those.
It seems any animal is fair game for Kyne's nonsensical wrath with the Thunderchild mod. The kitten in the Bannered Mare became a target but I refused to kill it.
Divines aren't very nice.

Imperious has a special ability for Dunmer where your ancestors will mark random people for you to kill, rewarding you with more ancestor ghosts to protect you. If I'd paid any attention to the voices, there wouldn't be any Skaal left on Solstheim :v:
