It seems any animal is fair game for Kyne's nonsensical wrath with the Thunderchild mod. The kitten in the Bannered Mare became a target but I refused to kill it.
Divines aren't very nice.
Kyne wanted me to kill a chicken in riverwood.
For Kyne to think I would fall into that hole, oh no.
I always seem to end up with weird mismatched equipment sets like this.

And I tend to get attached to my low-level gear rather often and wear it for as long as I can.
no no no it's not a joke
like sure i recognize him to be the king of rape but i wouldn't expect them to actually right a book on the guy raping someone
[editline]10th May 2015[/editline]
say if in the game Azura is called "Eater of Babies" and then there's a book no one reads where she mutilates babies and eats them
There is quite a few books with sex, homosexual sex, and rape in the series.
In-fact I wanna find the one where I think some dark-elf warrior gives a god a blowjob and then the daedra start blowing each other.
Bethesda can't seem to decide whether they want things to be open-ended or a railroad.
I also hate how they forced you to be a werewolf if you wanted to advance trough the companion quests and basically forced you to kill werewolf hunters who were otherwise innocent, aka the silver hand.
It's not that big a problem though if you just avoid the questlines you don't like.
On the other hand, Bethesda apparently wanted to make some of them as intrusive as possible so you have little choice but to do them.
I really hate that. Like in Fallout 3 the second you step out of the Vault you find the flyer for the Point Lookout riverboat. Why should I care? I'm just looking for my father, dammit. Or in Oblivion, somehow hearing the rumor about the Strange Door to the Isles minutes after you leave the sewers.
I'm overpowered as shit already at level 30. Can't wait to see how utterly unfair I'll be at level 80.
[editline]asdf[/editline]
I somehow already managed to get to 100 in Heavy Weapons (two-handed). I'd make it legendary but I'm too busy killing the fuck out of everything.
Set the difficulty to Legendary and there is some mod that makes enemies harder by scaling them properly to your level and also spawn high level ones. Get deadly dragons while you are at it and there is also a bandit mod which expands on the bandits, makes them stronger and places unique ones in the world. You can also enable it to make the world full of bandits. There is also immersive creatures, but to be honest i didn't find them becoming more immersive.

I have like, all of the above, aside from the scaling mod.

sounds like i should be reading books more
like the only time i read books is for the skill points
if the book is worth 30 gold or more i open it and close it to see if it gives a skill point
I also hate how they forced you to be a werewolf if you wanted to advance trough the companion quests and basically forced you to kill werewolf hunters who were otherwise innocent, aka the silver hand.
While I agree, I wouldn't call the Silver Hand innocent by any means. They don't just hunt werewolves, they imprison and torture them.

wasn't there also a mod that randomizes the enemy types you found at locations? Like instead of necromancers in a ruin it could be bandits, vampires, etc. ?
[editline]whops i derp[/editline]
Nevermind, it varied enemy levels, thus making the world leveled.
here's the mod, its made by T3ndo, and is called WTF? (Where did These strong enemies suddenly come From?)

I would like this mod if it was more selective, having the boss of Bleak Falls Barrow be a level 80 Death Overlord is not fun.
oh my god did michael kirkbride write that or something

I'm going to try this mod with my next playthrough. My poor little Bosmer mage will suffer terribly.

Meeko got in the way while I was charging a dragon with Volendrung. God dammit. I feel terrible.
So shadows are rendered via the CPU, right? Is there any way to reduce the load on the CPU without switching off shadows entirely? I remember hearing that putting the shadows on low actually reduces performance
If you're using an enb, all that is left in pipeline should be shadow dithering, which should improve performance.
If you're not then yes, initial cast calculation is done before anything renders because who in god's name would do that for a multiplatform game, pants on head.
anyway:
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=2
fInteriorShadowDistance=3000.0000
fShadowDistance=3500.0000
iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=4096
iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096
fShadowLODStartFade=200.0000
iShadowMode=6
iShadowMapResolution=4096
fShadowBiasScale=0.3500
iShadowMaskQuarter=3
iShadowFilter=3
The shadows here in will be sharp as shit so if you don't have a 4096x2560 monitor like i do, you'll probably cut yourself looking at them, and you can fix that by
iShadowMaskQuarter=6
which will cost fps, or by upping the blurdefer past 1 to like 5/7 but then you'll introduce the SSAO halos on characters who are backlit by any source that is occluded by any other geometry.
The only real ways are to reduce the distance you can see shadows, or completely offload the calculations by light ENB.

Mercy fixes that.
I use ENBoost with graphics turned off, will I still be able to benefit from that in some way?
Is there a way to get Skyrim as broken as possible? Like flickering textures, glitches, wrong textures on models, voices that are so distorted, it almost sounds like a malfunctioning soundcard, etc. if possible.
I'm dead serious, btw. I want to do another playthrough just to see what it's like.

Rub a magnet on your GPU and your hard drive?
Rub a magnet on your GPU and your hard drive?
Preferably without destroying any hardware.
I just instantly killed the monologuing vampire in Potema's Catacombs with Yol. Vampires are scary!
[editline]sadf[/editline]
There doesn't really seem to be any use for the full Fire Breath shout, cause if you just use Yol on something that's weak to fire you'll usually take off at least half its health.
[editline]asdf[/editline]
Is Legendary difficulty worth it? I've been playing on Adept and I feel like cranking the difficulty up.

THERE YOU GO
Does anyone else confuse Hjaalmarch and Haafingar? They're right next to each other and they both have an h and a double-a and it's kind of frustrating :p

The DLCs were scripted to give notifications the second it figured you weren't in the middle of something (or in SI's case the much simpler "24 in game hours after loading"). When the DLCs first came out this was perfect for existing characters.
