An Imperial Spy disguised as a guard in Riften has killed two of the Stormcloak guards so far. I wonder if he'll clean out the entire city :v:

Wait no the spy is dead, but he was killed by an identical guard. This game is confusing.
pre morrowind games (daggerfall, arena, redguard)
Don't forget Battlespire. I haven't played it but it seems interesting.
Questions about my quest and if it's dumb.
Ok so first part of my quest, Arexon basically steals the player's equipment via making the player drunk or casting a paralysis spell if the player doesn't want to be railroaded. The player then finds Arexon in a randomly selected bandit hideout where he retrieves his equipment and has the option to kill Arexon (effectively making the mod useless) or spare him by stealing his equipment as revenge.
Arexon will run away to Whiterun where he will live there. If the player sees them they can talk to each other again where depending on the dialogue choices the player can offer him a drink or arexon will offer the player a drink, where they will both get wasted and teleport to a random dwemer ruin with some strange and powerful dwemer artifacts
Now as I was writing this, the back of my mind started going "hold on this sounds fucking dumb why would you have another drink with him and wouldn't the player go 'this is fucking dumb why did i get wasted again around arexon when arexon stole all my shit' "
make it so that he spikes the potions in your inventory so the next one you drink it knocks you out and you wake up in the ruin with him
he's just like "eh sorry guy i just felt really bad and wanted you to have a fun time"
k there plot of hangover
i decided to make it so that he offers a job

Battlespire plays more like Ultima Underworld since it all takes place in an glorified dungeon. Although still, it's more of an TES game than Redguard.
There was a huge brawl in Riften. Maven's bodyguard and pretty much every guard inside the city walls is dead. It's a wonder the town doesn't just burn to the ground at this rate.

Oh god. You're sentence reminds me of the random conversations in Oblivion where NPCs exchange rumors about the towns.
"What's new with you?"
"I heard the town of Kvatch was ransacked by the Daedra! ARE WE NEXT?!"
"Bye"
"Be seeing you"

I'd give anything to do that voice
Is there any reason why an armor displays fine on you or your companion but is invisible on mannikins?
Found this on the ENB forum gallery.

Used work comp to re-save the post. iPads are silly.

Mannequins are soulless evil monsters that should all be put to the torch because they cause nightmares in kittens and small children.
I always delete all of them.

for a creepy thing with tits that face sure looks masculine

Do creepy things with tits usually have feminine faces?
god morrowind is harder than my dick
[editline]11th May 2015[/editline]
second fighters guild quest, I specialized in short swords and speed and my shortsword is doing jack shit against one of the poachers
honestly doubt morrowind was playtested beyond level 5
does it get harder or easier past level 5
[editline]11th May 2015[/editline]
or are you saying that the playtesters gave up
if you're rolling a warrior it gets easier exponentially
I remember the time I tried playing morrowind, kept getting stunlocked by groups of cliff racers, even with the boots of blinding speed they were still faster than me.
I should probably give it another shot sometime.
i roll for the light armor + speed because of the stamina running system
should i go full on tank mode
nah either or works
if you're doing the light armor thing then sink points into agility
[editline]11th May 2015[/editline]
speed is only really useful in combat if you're using a spear because you can kite
ok so thats what I thought
"how am i supposed to kill people with a spear unless i lunge at him"

also what's the elder scrolls equivalent of
-carton of cigarettes (moon sugar?)
-thermos (bottles?)
-coffee (skooma?)
-bourbon (mead?)
also what's the elder scrolls equivalent of
-carton of cigarettes (moon sugar?)
Probably the best you're going to get without making anything up.
-thermos (bottles?)
I would guess special bottles with compartments for frost or fire salts? They're used for that kinda thing quite a lot, at least by folks with the money for it.
-coffee (skooma?)
Definitely not skooma. I don't have a source on this, but I think coffee is canon? Even if it isn't, so long as it's not an outright latte or something it wouldn't be too out of place, you could say they're a cash crop grown in Elsweyr and used as a moon sugar alternative by Khajiit or something.
-bourbon (mead?)
I don't know a whole heck of a lot about bourbon, but I could see it being an Imperial thing or something, they seem to have a lot of kinds of alcohol in Cyrodiil.
So long as it isn't ridiculous, you can get away with making up lore. Most people won't notice, and the people who will generally seem to enjoy fake lore so long as it doesn't suck.
I'm thinking of making a reference to Michael Kirkbride

It was one dev, naked in a room with a carton of cigarettes, a thermos full of coffee and bourbon, and all his summoned angels.
I believe It was one scholar, naked in a room with a carton of moon sugar, a bottle full of skooma and mead, and all his summoned angels.

iirc there's tobacco in oblivion
iirc there's tobacco in oblivion
Yup
Is it used for smoking, though? I don't see any smokers in oblivion.
Is it used for smoking, though? I don't see any smokers in oblivion.
Maybe? The only atmospheric things the NPCs really did in Oblivion was talk about mudcrabs and occasionally sit down to eat, so there isn't much to go by with how things were actually used.
[editline]asdf[/editline]
I'm p sure there's smoking pipes and such in Tamriel, though. I vaguely recall something about that.
there's hookah pipes everywhere in eso
everywhere
it's goddamn ridiculous
