Don't worry, there are plenty of mods on the other side of the fence that we can accuse you of having. :v:
people are weird
i feel like i shit up the thread with loverslab shit, am i doing just that
[editline]14th May 2015[/editline]
i can imagine one guy leaving the thread and then after about a year he comes back and says 'OH MY FUCKING GOD ROFLBURGER IS STILL TALKING ABOUT LOVERSLAB'

dragons take 50% less damage from all sources except for the dragonborn

And they still lose to giants? That's broken as hell.
Tbh i think pretty much everyone that still checks this thread have survived malk and drasar
Who are those guys? These threads have been here for a long ass time but only now do I pop in and check them out, even if I have been playing Skyrim since launch.
I've never seen anyone outside this thread say that DSR is a bad mod that nobody should use, I've never had any problems with it myself.
The nexus thinks running Frostfall with requiem and Ugrids to load 11 is great because all they do is install mods and take screenshots, they don't actually play the fucking game to completion or use mods that change the the base hkx's. DSR is badly made, period.
Holy heck.
The intricacies of the mods from LoverSlab are astounding.
Edit: we should rate all posts related to LoverSlab friendly because it is a lover's heart.
As much shit as LL gets (and some of it is most assuredly deserved) 9 times out of 10 the mods there actually do what the fuck they're supposed to without exploding your install or running 90 threads per second to check one dependency like FrostFall or Requiem or Wet and Cold.
Not even GEMS can claim that.
Are there any mods at lover slab that aren't sex or weird fetish related?
[editline]asdf[/editline]
They do seem to have some relatively talented modders there but instead of making things that are actually cool they make... those.
Are there any mods at lover slab that aren't sex or weird fetish related?
There's a Regular Mods section, though the majority of stuff there is on the Nexus as well and some of the rest is still weird fetishes. There was a nice potions replacer mod somewhere though.
I think I met 2 Daedras in person now.

Other than sex trash, you'll mostly find rips from other games since Nexus doesn't allow it.
Like, if you want Dark Souls armors in Skyrim for some reason, that's the place to go.
Other than that there really isn't much there.

There are, but the obvious focus is obvious.
It's also the place to get asian clothing and armor and hair without paying for it (mileage obviously varies in terms of wtf/lore)
The rest of the thread is going to be about LL isn't it

Well, not anymore. The modder pulled all his rips, though I was able to find a download of it on a previous thread here.
funfact:

Dragons are fucking punks in Skyrim anyway, and boosting their damage makes them terribly unfun to fight.
They're honestly a really good example of what exactly is wrong with Bethesda's way of designing games. By trying to regularize and make everything procedural, they make everything shit. If the dragons had been scripted to be far more special and unique in the same vein was what was done in the absolutely stellar wolf queen questline and done in a bit poorer but still interesting manner with the gauldur questline and the dragon priests, it would have been fine. Instead we get a buggy winged annoyance that shows up every so often, flies over you for far too long, constantly stays out of reach unless you have a bow and arrow, and commonly decides to fuck off and go kill a goat on the other side of a mountain because fuck you.
Dragons, in fact, should not even have been able to take noticeable damage unless you use dragonrend or specific weapons designed to hurt dragons, and they sure as fuck shouldn't have been random occurrences during the game because that completely undermines how powerful they're really meant to be.
The way I see it, dragons should have been only around in a finite amount, and they should sometimes come out of their lair to taunt and attack you. You can kill them on the spot during an attack if you're powerful enough or if you have dragonrend, otherwise you need to track them down to their lair and try to kill them there (meaning there'd be extensive dungeons where the toughest dragons are guarded by a large and growing dragon cult along with draugr and ancient dragon priests). Once you kill the main dragons, lesser dragons will sometimes fill their lair but will no longer attack you directly, so by the end of the game it feels like you've actually eliminated the threat while still having to purge some of its roots - and it'd make rebuilding the blades actually useful too since you could have them assist you during raids on dragon lairs or send them around Skyrim to spy on people and try to find where the dragon cult is hiding (I still think there should have been some form of dragon cult renewal, especially since so much emphasis was put on the ancient one).
So basically, kind of like the sleepers in morrowind : only in a finite amount, become progressively more aggressive throughout the MQ, and essentially stop being relevant once you complete MQ.
Anyone know where I should go for scripting help?
I'm trying to make it so something triggers when you enter a cell. Sounds simple but I don't want to create scripts that bloat safe files.

I can understand your point with DSR but what is all this crap about installing frostfall for screenshots lmao? Thats like putting pickles under the bun of a hamburger and saying it enhances the aesthetics of it lol.
Daggerfall for Unity update. Some more cool showcases

I hope TESVI keeps Skyrim's little draw distance system thing that they have going on where you can see things, important or not, from very long distances. Here's a pic from the Skyrim sub;

The little thing in the center is the Shrine of Azura and to its right you can see the college of Winterhold. I don't need to explain how neat that is. It's likely that TESVI will be Argonia and thus swampy but I'd love it if they preserved the views.
It's likely that TESVI will be Argonia and thus swampy
...That's a strange assumption to make, unless I'm missing something.
Argonia and Valenwood are the only two locations they haven't done.
Valenwood seems boring, people want Argonia.

I have wet dreams about there being a dark elder scrolls game in argonian, where it's basically "ur dead if you breathe the wrong way"

The STALKER Scrolls?
Valenwood seems boring
I'd be super hyped to get a Valenwood TES. A Dance In Fire made it sound pretty fucking amazing.
[editline]asdfp[/editline]
At any rate, I'm willing to bet the next TES will take place in multiple provinces, one way or another. I don't think there can be a correct guess about the next game's setting, cause as boring as their writing can be they've been pretty good about surprising us with a somewhat random setting.

If it's about the Stormcloak rebellion or some type of Imperial incursion against the elves then it'll likely be multiprovincial, but if it's just a regular "you are the prisoner but now you are The Very Best" I'm thinking it'll be in Argonia/Black Marsh.
They've already made Argonians pretty cool in Skyrim so the only next step is to make an entire game about them. /s
Valenwood will be saved for the TES finale because that's where all the mean elves are at and we're going to burn that shit down. Just my conclusion though.

Did you forget Elsweyr and Summerset Isles?
it took me like 3½ years but I realized that I can stop 'cutscenes' in Skyrim by running into characters.
and so the speedrunning of quests I've already finished 10 times begins.
Considering the amount of buildup on the aldmeri dominion the sequel is either going to be set directly on the summerset isles or in hammerfell since the redguards have been in resistance for a while.
why is hammerfell called 'hammerfell'
were the nobles all sitting in a room thinking of a name for their lands when one of them spotted a carpenter fall off a roof outside the window and suddenly had a burst of inspiration?
A dwarf threw his hammer and was like "let's live where it lands" and it landed in the desert that became Hammerfell because a hammer fell there.

Speaking of names, I still think the only reason Elsweyr is called like that is because of misinterpretations and language barriers. It's the Tamriel equivalent of the Yucatan peninsula.
