Not just any lore unfriendly mod, and especially those that attempt to be "in-universe" by being Dwemer; I want the ones where it just fuckin' demolishes the lore, shit that just shouldn't be there. For instance, a Nord walking down Whiterun with hipster shit or in a Space Marine get-up, etc. But mostly it's the hipster shit I want.
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19644/? Best I could find in 1 minute.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Znru0fm.jpg[/t] holy fuck I don't know what I installed but the Imperial City is multi-tiered and has a fuckload of new shops and houses and it's less the size of a little village now. I think it might've been Better Cities. Pardon me while I click the endorse button so fucking hard the Earth shatters and implodes.
That's Better Cities for sure, I think. If you think that makes it less than a village, you should check out New Imperial City and just be amazed. Sadly, it's really broken and buggy as hell, but some guys are working on fixing it up, and its kind of cool to explore what's done.
making a massive cell inspired by diablo [t]http://i.imgur.com/e10MNRC.jpg[/t] has no lighting, will be dark as fuck, will have creepy enemies that don't die in one hit [t]http://i.imgur.com/IKv0Wj8.png[/t] first level will be basic, go in each wing, retrieve a key, unlock 3 doors and proceed to the next level
Bar the huge amount of statues, that looks really cool.
statues are probably for each of the 9 divines.

So I'm trying to reinstall SkyUI but it's telling me it's not detecting SKSE at all? I didn't have this problem the first time.
first level will be basic, go in each wing, retrieve a key, unlock 3 doors and proceed to the next level
Huge creepy dark cells are all well and good, but you really should add some decorative statics and effects and stuff so everything doesn't look all boring and samey.
That comes last. Right now I'm coming up with enemy types. So far there's 4 types of skeletons (Ranged,Magic,Melee), 3 types of disturbed prisoners(Melee,Melee,Ranged), and 4 types of ghosts (Werewolf, Wolf, Dragon Priest, Magic Anomaly)
I think it actually looks really good barren as it is. Maybe some tombs and braziers strewn about or something, but I think you should keep the big open look rather than try to cram stuff in there.
i must have played morrowind blackout drunk after i got home on thursday because my save loaded in the wilderness miles from where i was, my slave is gone and i have +30,000 gold

i wish it was that interesting but all i know is that Dro Dong or whatever his name was is missing with all my candles and he definitely wasn't worth 30k [editline]17th May 2015[/editline] i only gave him candles because i didn't trust him with anything else. whos laughing now??
I finally did it. I finally got through a full playthrough of a character (finishing all main quests + related faction/guild quests that fits the character) without getting bored and starting over with a different character for the first time in months. Now to start all over and try again.
Sweet, that's what I'm doing. Missing Dragonborn, mainquest, college and 1 thieves guild quest. I am NOT restoring the thieves guild to its former glory.
hipster shit
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33787/?
So I've been having a pretty major sound problem and I have no idea what's causing it. Most of the sounds I generate don't play, like footsteps and weapon unsheathing/swinging/hitting, and music won't play either. Any sounds played in 3D space work perfectly fine, like anything an NPC is doing, but "sourceless" sounds only happen like once every ten times they should. I tried uninstalling AOS and Immersive Sounds but that actually made the sounds disappear entirely, never playing at all. How do fix? [editline]18th May 2015[/editline] Also PerMa's SkyProc patcher is ungodly slow
That patcher takes ages. I don't know why it goes to 100% in an instant and then stalls at that percentage for ages.
Well shit, how about that, moving the game off my external hard drive actually did fix it like I saw people saying. That's...really weird. :v:
Does HD Pack made any difference or I'm basically downloading 4GB of nothing? [editline]18th May 2015[/editline] Also, you guys mind recommending some mods other than patches, SkyUI and sex mods?
I really hate "hotfix" updates on the Nexus, where people upload the latest versions of their mod, discover a tiny little bug, and then upload a small 3KB .zip in the "updates" section to fix and overwrite that problem instead of adding the fix to the full release and renaming it 2.0.01 or something.

I've tried making mods myself in the creation kit and had to end up quitting halfway through cluttering because I made the area too large and couldn't make it not look empty. Anyway, if you run out of ideas on enemies, just keep in mind that there is a giant creature resource pack out there for anyone to use. A lot of things in it are definitively not that easy to explain in relation to TES lore, but it's pretty much one of the easiest ways to add more variety to the enemy designs without learning modeling yourself.
snip, link didn't work

I heard there was a mod for oblivion that stretched the world size about two or four times, does anyone know where I could find it?
I heard there was a mod for oblivion that stretched the world size about two or four times, does anyone know where I could find it?
Four times nothing? That's a whole lotta nothing.

I don't really understand permanent death mods. What if you slip while climbing around on some rocks and fall 20+ feet to your death? "Well shit guess I gotta start over" [editline]asdf[/editline] "Immersion" is only worth it to a certain point, you see. It's not like you're ever going to experience death and live to tell about it, so why make dying realistic?
I don't think permadeath mods make sense in an Elder Scrolls game because they're (atleast Oblivion and Skyrim) not really balanced enough. You can't predict if you can survive a dungeon like you can in a game like Diablo 2.

You can't predict if you can survive a dungeon like you can in a game like Diablo 2.
Especially when you breeze through a Draugr dungeon only to get OHKO'd by a Draugr Supremeoverdeathlord at the end that popped out of a regular coffin.
99% of the time when someone dies in skyrim it's usually because of bullshit anyways. also I have a problem with an npc I created I made an enemy that when it dies, 3 tiny rats come out of her corpse and attack the player dealing high poison/disease damage problem is that the rats just run away even at the foolhardy setting, does anyone have any suggestions to fix this?
