Use Mod Organizer with tes5edit, and wyre bash. Mod Organizer basically allows you to enable and reinstall mods with just a simple click of a button and doesn't touch the skyrim folder at all. There is also ENBoost which even though is an ENB it doesn't add any effects, it makes Skyrim vram usage better or something, and there is a memorypatch which fixes a lot of CTD related issues. I literally only have a crash every few hours with 190 ESPs activated and 10-15 other script mods.
now, do you need to still install ssme if you get the beta skse?
Is there a way to get Serana off my ass? I started Dawnguard forgetting that she refuses to leave your side until you finish the damn thing and I just want to get my PC follower with familiar faces.
http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Nirn#Axial_tilt_and_climate [editline]19th May 2015[/editline] If there is any tilt, it's almost completely unnoticeable and produces almost no effects on the climate whatsoever.
imagine not using uesp as your main source

She'll likely have respawned when you hit another important point of the quest line anyway, if not you can just put her back yourself with player.placeatme.

A classmate asked me if I was going to be playing witcher when it comes out. Told him I wasn't too fond of the games. 'but it's exactly like Skyrim' Am I the only one not seeing that it's 'exactly like skyrim'? I don't think they're that alike. Open worldRPG doesn't automatically mean Skyrim, or Elder Scrolls to me.
I ruined my game because I decided to try step on my existing character. not sure if it would've been any better on a new one though. Game crashes constantly when I'm out in skyrim but works fine when I'm in a city or dungeon. I feel like ugrids is probably the problem but I havent been able to stop it from happening. Also getting loads of crashes from interesting npc added fights.
Well, to be fair, golden rule of modding is start a new character whenever you change something.
Might be the memory overload ctd you'll need to enable the memory patch.
What memory patch?
Use Mod Organizer with tes5edit, and wyre bash.
I have never bothered with STEP before and so far it seems to be for the better. I still get freezes at random and unexplained CTDs when I load a manual save (so I've gotten into the habit of using autosaves every time), but other than that my game is relatively stable. I feel like if I gave STEP or Wrye Bash a try in an attempt to "fix" Skyrim, it would destroy everything.
Most of the stuff from STEP I end up using anyway, now I just go there as a mod supplement list and pick and chose stuff. I've only done a "complete" install of STEP once.

It's just all the rage to compare open worlds to Skyrim nowadays.
"its like skyrim with guns" "its like skyrim with tits" "its like skyrim with emotions" i mean i understand some of the comparisons because you could mod 2 of these 3 examples into the game.

imo the comparison is totally justified
imo the comparison is totally justified
if there are problems with TES it's because Bethesda have gotten away with only ever having their games compared to their other games it's better for everyone if the stakes get raised
Goddamn it, I cant take a step outside anymore without everything breaking. Does anyone know what the hell is going on here? Its been doing this from the start and I dont know if its my computer dying or sky ui creating modern art. One of the annoying things about Skyrim modding for me is getting to level 3, then stumbling across an incompatibility and deciding to get rid of the offending mod. Which means new LOOT sort, new bashed patch, new ASIS, new PerMa patch, new DynDOLOD run and new character. I've been in this loop for way too long where I'm just tweaking my load order, thinking "yeah, tomorrow I'll start the real playthrough".
Make sure you can hear the screams of men and women who have been tortured relentlessly in the bleak hellish landscape that is Mehrunes Dagon's realm.
Gecko's Sound Overhaul already takes care of that :p [editline]sdf[/editline] Oh [t]http://i.imgur.com/GAXZh7T.jpg[/t] Female Dremora. Ok.

Someone attempting to bring Cyrodiil closer to the original concept of being ever so slightly asian [t]http://static-2.nexusmods.com/15/mods/101/images/46139-0-1432146379.jpg[/t] [t]http://static-2.nexusmods.com/15/mods/101/images/46139-0-1432147016.jpg[/t] http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/46139/?
it looks so lorefriendly!!
The armor looks kind of stupid but I'm p sure female Dremora aren't restricted from fighting or anything.
I think I am about to give up on Skyrim. I don't have a God damn clue what is crashing stuff anymore, just wandering around the world space causes fucking CTD's with no error and I don't know the first fucking place to look anymore. This is after a complete reinstall of every mod and even throwing out a bunch of junk I didn't think I wanted or needed anymore. I've tried using a small core of mods, STEP only shit, my own mods I like, every combination of crap and I just don't know what is going on now. Fuck it, you win Skyrim. I'm done. I'm sick to death of spending days uninstalling and reinstalling stuff and having no solution.
Have you used a save cleaner? They work wonders.
My own canon about Cyrodiil (which I guess is close to pre-oblivion lore) is this : - Main weather is amazonian rainforest. Heavy, humid as fuck climate that's constantly warm as fuck. - Roads, cities and everything in a one mile radius around these points is deforested down to the last tree to allow for easy passage, to ward off wild animals and to prevent robbers from easily ambushing anyone since there are no trees to hide behind. - The sewer system below the imperial city is so fuck-huge that most parts aren't actually being used and were re-purposed into slums where the poorest live. - The imperial city has canals where barges transit from one section to the next, since the city is supposed to be as large as a country by itself. - You can only take the main bridge to the imperial city island if you pay a large toll. Otherwise you have to take a shitty barge which ends up in the sewers where the slums are. - All design takes heavy inspiration from Akaviri design. Local members of the imperial legion wear cloth armor with very little use of metal, while the foreign legions sent to neighboring provinces use the skyrim style of roman armor. - Trees grow so fuckhuge deep into the wilderness that it looks like it's permanently night since the sun can't get through the canopy. - The oblivion gates started minor localized forest fires due to being made of fucking molten rock but it didn't go very far since the jungle is so ungodly humid.
