What's up with the baby hands? Or is it bad perspective?
No idea, I just found that on UESP :v:
I didn't realize there were female Dremoras actually
There's assets for female dremora in skyrim's files but they aren't used at any point
What's up with the baby hands? Or is it bad perspective?
Haven't seen any Dremora yet but I think it's just perspective. There IS a hand size slider in the character creator, though.
Also yeah, there's a handful of female Dremora in Oblivion, they're a lore thing. I don't know if they're more common in ESO, but considering these Dremora clans are serving Molag Bal, and Molag Bal has his...thing... I wouldn't be too surprised if he kept more Dremora ladies. [sp]or forced some of his underlings to take female forms since daedra gender is more fluid than fluid[/sp]
What's up with the baby hands? Or is it bad perspective?
It's perspective.
One of the female Dremora's name is Lyraneth or so and she's baller as fuck.

Are we allowed to showcase our own mods here? I have a dramatic boss music replacement Mod that I think a lot of people would like.
After watching that video for the game jam stuff, I got a feeling most of that stuff was pretty wonky and/or only working just well enough to show it off in a very deliberate fashion - like the giant mudcrab fight. That week of makin' stuff would've turned into months of polishing, and we did end up getting some of it after all in patches and DLC. That was probably the only stuff that was reasonable to finish. But maybe in the next one.
And they should have done that, everything they showed was pretty much a laundry list of HEY BETHESDA CAN YOU _____ FOR DLC. Not a single reason all of that should have been on a whiteboard except cost.
Cleaning saves would have nothing to do with it since I'm always starting a new game to see if it's still crashing.
On that note, Lexinator mentioned that memory patch aaaaaaaaaand
that might have worked. I don't know why but the author removed it from the Nexus and someone on reddit backed it up. I've been messing with it now for a little over an hour, using various amount of mods, new game, speedmult 300, and I've yet to crash in the Skyrim overworld. Earlier last night, I'd go maybe 10 min and then CTD.
Who knows. When I get home from work I could be crashing again for some reason but right now it looks ok. I'm still frustrated because, ya know, afaik, it wasn't even the mods doing something wrong, the game just didn't even fucking have enough memory to take it, but I guess I'll find out over the next few days if it's working fine.
Are you not using enboost and SKSE?
Cause you should be.

http://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/1vocjj/compiled_skyrim_memory_skse_patch_with_adjustable/
Sheson's original patch and skse are 100% incompatible
as in 100%.
Probably why you're crashing.
Here's the deal:
Skyrim's ceiling is 3.2 gigs. You can address ANY of THAT once you've used a heap injector, IN ADDITION, ENBoost will swap out pages of said heap as quickly as it can into Vram that isn't being used for anything else.
Because of the 1.9 patch aka make every version of skyrim use memory like the ps3 and also completely fuck facial animations at the same time patch, the pc version lost it's ability to address anything up to the limit that the large address aware fix did and was stuck with same exact limitations as the ps3. :pantsonhead:
There really aren't any words to describe how fucking stupid this decision was. What sheson's original work did was expand the heap allocation space, but only in a staggered fashion, and it still needed two heaps (actually three, because physics requires discrete space as well)
However. Boris' injector allows you to treat the exe like it used to be by bypassing the heapspace entirely, OR by allocating the heap a variable size, just like the Large Address Aware fix did.
This mean you can allocate ANY size heap for the first one as you want, as long as you don't cross the 3.2 gig limit, the 768/256 thing doesn't matter because if Skyrim ever crosses the second heap's threshold, it's going to crash anyway no matter what, the second heap is literally redundant.
So here's what you do:
You get 1.7.0.2 SKSE and install that.
You get an ENB that supports ENBoost (pretty much all of them) and make sure you get enb helper as well for faster swapping of memory.
You turn the 64bit support for ENB ->OFF<-, because it's utterly irrelevant and even causes crashes on its own because Skyim isn't 64bit and never will be, so where you're allocating swap space is literally irrelevant. As long as your system has four gigs of memory and your GPU has a gig of memory you set the following:
[Memory]
DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=3072
ScrapHeapSizeMB=256
This is your SKSE max. You start with DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=512, and up it by 256 megs every time until skyrim crashes at launch; whatever the last good settings were, is your initial heap limit.
In your ENBlocal you set:
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=->false<-
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
; Both work below for Pre-0.204
DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
;DisableDriverMemoryManager=false
DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
and then set your ReservedMemorySizeMb= to 1024 if you have a 2gig card or better or 512 if you have a one gig and your VideoMemorySizeMb= to whatever your TOTAL vram and ram is minus 2 gigs.
This should eliminate any stuttering and memory based crashing.
I finally finished the main quest in Wyrmstooth

The Draugr spells are over powered.
Drelas Mod allows you to recruit Drelas as a follower but gives you his spells to learn.
You can then choose from all the weak, balanced, powerful, or over powered spells you want. That's the mod I want.
Are you not using enboost and SKSE?
Cause you should be.
You literally can't mod Skyrim these days without SKSE so yes. And yes, I always use ENBoost.
-technical stuff-
Using the patch from reddit seemed to stop all my crashing when I was using it. I wasn't using the original fix from Nexus because it's not actually available. I was also only using it for about an hour and a half earlier today, never before then.
Wasn't using ENB Helper, just dropped that in.
The ENBLocal settings were already set up correctly and just earlier today I got the SKSE.ini settings put in correctly, but I'll mess with it until it crashes as you said.
Thanks for all the info.

how many times have i posted this
If anyone's been using my physics mod, could you give me a bug list? I'm going to update it (hopefully) one last time.
EDIT: Holy shit the last time I updated it was 2014. Didn't realize it had been gathering cobwebs that long.

Yeah I know this is what I expected
So I'm reinstalling Oblivion again. Anyone have any mod guides to make the game not look like poop? Preferably without the anime tits and Sephiroth hair.
I apologize if this has been requested a million times before.
self quote
So I'm up to DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=7424 and I still don't crash on launch. I got 8GB of RAM and 1279MB of VRAM and I just assumed it was system RAM minus VRAM but I'm still not crashing on launch and I don't know if that is amazing or I'm doing it wrong somehow.

Not exactly; ENB uses the unpegged Vram as a burst scratch disk, to offload redundant calls and held memory spaces (interior cells, NPC states, weapon states monster states blah blah) so that the Skyrim always has overhead and unused space. Since the exe is 32bit I would hold it at 3072 so you avoid any overflow/buffer/bad allocation errors when entering an area with a fuckton of NPCs (whiterun: Jarl's approach or Solitude Docks, for example)
I would load in, start a new char just to see where you're at, then coc to whiterunbanneredmare and the Solitude docks and see if anything explodes or catches on fire. If it doesn't you should be good to go (as good as you can be with Papyrus barfing hairballs every five seconds)
my setup is 3072/256 in skse
and 1024/10240 in ENB, though I have 48 gigs of ram and two Xs, anything else is overkill, it runs at 4K with every vivid and amidian mod and a personally developed frame crushing ENB at 60 flat, and it only crashes every other sunday, can't really ask for more than that.
For me the key was keeping to four super heavily scripted mods and two lightly scripted ones, max and anything like requiem or frostfall that's just scripted like ass is right out, no matter how immersive it is.

What's it like being able to stare back into the unblinking eye of God?
So I guess I'll find out over the next day or something but I'm getting good feelings here. Thanks for all the advice.

All that and no 144Hz monitor?
EDIT: Although 1440/144Hz is expensive as shit, 1080/144Hz is still better than 1440/60Hz imo
Actual 4096x2560 4K with 10bit color and 144Hz will be years away, also Skyrim will [del]fuck[/del] CHIM everything literally not nailed down if you go over 60 frames.

The developer's console is real, we're all a dream inside the godhead, and Vivec is both a man and a woman with some decent titties.

Kirkbride.
Basically, stay away from CHIM if you like sanity.

i'm not really sure how heavily scripted mods make you crash, unless you remove them mid-playthrough. in most cases they just make things really annoying by adding delay to some things and sometimes break other scripted mods
also, are you using convenient horses or any other mod to test script latency?
What's this CHIM you guys keep talking about?
the premise is simple but the logistics get complicated.
CHIM is a form of self awareness within the elder scrolls universe.
By recognizing that the world in which you live is a dream, and by extension, you do not exist, one of two things can happen. Either your will crumbles, and the realization that you're not real annihilates you completely, OR your will is strong enough and you go "HEY, FUCK YOU, MAYBE I DON'T EXIST BUT AT LEAST I EXIST" and you exist anyway.
Vivec and Talos have both been thought to have used CHIM to obtain their godly powers. By achieving this self awareness, you become able to warp reality around you, to warp the dream around you. Effectively, you become a god.
