But if the world is a dream? Who is the dreamer??????????
Dreamer must be kinky because Argonians have boobs even though they're lizards.

Or lizard-tree-dinosaur-bird-man... things, rather.

people usually wake up if they think too hard about something in their dream or try to apply logic

Not literally just some dude dreaming. What it IS is some dude in a totally different reality falling deeper and deeper into its own delusion, until through some process we don't know which may or may not involve gaining CHIM or equivalent in its own reality and then giving it up a new reality is formed in which it does not exist. That some dude is reflected by the force known as Anu.

this is where the logistics get complicated and i start to lose the plot lol
[editline]21st May 2015[/editline]
i'm super fuzzy on the creation of mundus and nirn and all that shit and basically anything that involves universe creation
all i know is that two ethereal beings (anu and padomay?) fought over some bitty and that it ended up with reality being created
Its totally m'aiq the liar
I still love the guard dialogue in Oblivion. Wes just hams it the fuck up so it sounds ridiculous regardless of context.
Stole a fork? CRIMINAL SCUM
Someone ran in front of you while you were shooting an imp? I WAS HOPING YOU'D RESIST ARREST
[editline]asdf[/editline]
At least the guards in Skyrim tell you that you've committed a crime and actually try to let you explain yourself. The guards in Cyrodiil are all like "I WANT TO STAB YOU BUT THAT WOULD BE MURDER AAAAAAA". You'd think it would be the other way around, right? :v:
Actual 4096x2560 4K with 10bit color and 144Hz will be years away, also Skyrim will [del]fuck[/del] CHIM everything literally not nailed down if you go over 60 frames.
Oh wait, 2560x1440 is 2K. I think I heard someone refer to that as 4K and it stuck. 4K is a nomenclature clusterfuck, there's slightly smaller 4K with a regular 16:9 aspect ratio and then there's "true" 4K with an aspect ratio no mortal would be capable of uttering, 256:135. I'd take 144Hz over either in a 3D action game.
Basically, stay away from CHIM if you like sanity.
Like you need your sanity.
the premise is simple but the logistics get complicated.
CHIM is a form of self awareness within the elder scrolls universe.
By recognizing that the world in which you live is a dream, and by extension, you do not exist, one of two things can happen. Either your will crumbles, and the realization that you're not real annihilates you completely, OR your will is strong enough and you go "HEY, FUCK YOU, MAYBE I DON'T EXIST BUT AT LEAST I EXIST" and you exist anyway.
Vivec and Talos have both been thought to have used CHIM to obtain their godly powers. By achieving this self awareness, you become able to warp reality around you, to warp the dream around you. Effectively, you become a god.
Basically this, though Vivec didn't become a god with CHIM, but rather he used Lorkhan's heart and after dabbling in its powers eventually came to know CHIM, and aside from the Tribunal's demi-god like stance in Morrowind, he never actually ascended to divinity like Tiber Septim, or it was never said that he did at least. But that doesn't really matter, the point is CHIM is a documented in game phenomenon.
The whole fan theory that CHIM explains mods and the creation kit or whatever is total BS though. It's a silly/fun fan theory but that's all it is. There's no fourth wall/meta shit with CHIM, it literally just means that a character has realized reality isn't "real," but he is "real," so he can shape reality to his liking.

yeah re mods and stuff like that i always just had a giggle with it, do people actually take that part of chim seriously? that's mad silly

Fixed the stupid bug with accel and friction changing with framerate.
And don't forget that CHIM is also, like Numidium and Dragon Breaks, the devs' lore-friendly reason to retcon things.

Sweet. That being fixed is reason enough to reinstall Skyrim for me. :)

The Nexus is bugging out and linking the source code download for the binary download, despite showing the correct file size for the archive with the binaries.
EDIT: nvm finally fixed itself after multiple reuploads
Were there ever any mods that added more random Oblivion islands to the gates? Going through the same 7 over and over again doesn't feel very... convincing.
Well, I finished all the guilds, Dawnguard, the main quest and Dragonborn. I even got all the dragon priest masks.
My character now looks like the Dovahkiin depicted here:

What's in his right hand, though?
Guess it's time to go drinking with Sanguine, say hi to Boethiah etc.

I love how subtle it is with the protagonist of Oblivion in this pic.

Holy crap, it's been like 2 years since I first saw that image and I never realized.

It's nice how they kept the two protagonists who don't yet have a canon gender mostly featureless.

Not to my knowledge, but it sounds like an excellent idea someone should tackle sometime, maybe even I will.
After my 50 other projects.
Legitimately shouldn't be that hard though if its just making a new level and adding it to a random list, I hope.

They're all pretty clearly men.
Anyone know where I can grab some free-to-use horror music?
[editline]490[/editline]
found some, time to spent 3 hours looking for good music
[editline]21st May 2015[/editline]
I have a question about creative commons
[t]http://i.imgur.com/floqhXe.jpg[/t]
By share, does it mean that I'm allowed to include it in my addon pack?

DB is wearing a lot of armor though. They could be a Khajiit for all we know :v:

I mean if you have another place with a creative commons licence with Attribution-NonCommercial or higher then I'm all ears

There's a lot of skeletons in your mod, man.
So far this is what I got for music choices in no specific order

https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Psi_Corps/Shadow_Creatures/
the problem with free horror music, especially indie, is that it has too much shit going on
What was the explanation of CHIM that had to do with a wheel, and sideways it was an I, and it kept going on.
Any mods that allow you to see how far you are from finishing vanilla Skyrim? yes, I want to complete every non-radiant quest.
