I've now been hired by the Prince of Sentinel to find out what happened to his older brother, Ver, who disappeared years ago. Having absolutely no evidence, I do the only logical thing and go ask random people on the street. Ooh! Suspicious! That how Fallout 3/NV does that when starting certain DLCs. That's what I think you should do, but maybe I'm not understanding the problem.

Anyone else use HDT Equipment? Looks great.
Tried to use it once but never got it to work properly.

So I'm trying to get into Skyrim again, but I guess I'm less crazed about the game compared to how I used to be. I think it'd help if I downloaded a bunch of the crazy graphics mods and went crazy, but there are so many I don't know which ones to pick. I'm currently running Skyrim HD. Any recommendations?

On my quest to have a crash-free game, I seem to have found another issue. [t]http://i.imgur.com/IkKeK5n.jpg[/t] So I can run from one end of Skyrim to the other with no crashing except the marked area around here. I just spent some time testing this and I never crashed anywhere else while in the Skyrim overworld except while running past Whiterun and around Riverwood. This was with speedmult 300, but it happened when I was playing normally too which would explain why the fuck I can never get out of that area before my game starts shitting its pants. Any ideas?
Helgen reborn? Expanded Riverwood? Something that heavily modifies Whiterun? Elysium Estate? Can't think of anything else.
I am using Expanded Towns and Cities, but when I was running around in the game that I took that screenshot in, it was disabled on a new save so it shouldn't have been an issue. Besides that, I wasn't using any other city mods.

Made a spell that launches a stream of arrows that do poison damage and reduces poison resistance equal to the same amount. needless to say it was op as fuck at 8 damage for 5 seconds

My Skyrim doesn't ever crash, but it does lag and freak out for 30-20 second periods as the tons of NPCs there get spawned. Mostly happens on my first run around the area. If you have lots of NPC mods that could be the problem. I'm not sure if we're allowed to talk about the Witcher games here, but I'd love it if Skyrim or the next TES game had a overworld as lively as the Witcher 3 does. There's just lots of people, none of them are really important but it does give a feeling that you're in a world populated by something other than you and the few important dudes you're supposed to work with.
Whiterun
Whiterun is just broken, AND there are several bad nifs in the vanilla mesh and cells; my advice is to take the nifs from USKP and place them below any changes to whiterun you have, also get any business you can get done there done immediately, also check any LOD mods you have for bad nifs as well. Also if you have any patrol or civil war mods, frankly ditch those as cell transitioning mods are never good for stability. The only additive NPC mods I use are Interesting and Inconsequential.

I cleaned all the mods I had to in TES5Edit already. I have those two and Immersive Patrols. Civil War Overhaul too?
ok found out why it was doing so much damage PoisonResist: -1328 forgot to check "Recover" for the spell effect. Recover keeps it from sticking permanently.

As for nifs, try setting SMIM and the USKP nifs folder pretty low in your order, might help.
I hear rather unpositive things about Civil War related mods every now and then (mainly about the technical side). I know I should probably get rid of them, but I always enjoy what they add, and there aren't really any better-made alternatives currently. [editline]asdf[/editline] And the vanilla CW is really fucking boring. If there was a mod that just added in the city sieges that CWO adds in and nothing else, I'd use the hell out of it.
Am I the only one who thinks that humans are the only interesting enemies in Skyrim? All the others are just annoying/do the same thing.
Men: Combat, Magic, Thief Mer: Magic Beast: Thief yep
But there are plenty of Khajiit, Orc, and (I think) Bosmer bandits. Also some Argonian ones, I'm always weirdly pleased when I see one.
