So a game actually having colors aside from brown and grey-brown is a bad thing?
No, Oblivion is just too far in the other direction. Look at the shade of blue in that sky, god damn.
progress so far unfortunately it crashed before i can show the final boss, so i guess that's for another day
iirc there was a two handed weapon that was based off your one handed skill, there's probably some way to make a one handed weapon based on the inverse and just make it an extra part of the quest to find it or something [editline]23rd May 2015[/editline] any two handed character should be good with alteration and restoration anyway but w/e
iirc there was a two handed weapon that was based off your one handed skill, there's probably some way to make a one handed weapon based on the inverse and just make it an extra part of the quest to find it or something [editline]23rd May 2015[/editline] any two handed character should be good with alteration and restoration anyway but w/e
I was thinking of this actually. You can make a weapon do damage based on every single skill in the game. Wana have a two-handed sword that does damage based on speech? You can climb it [editline]23rd May 2015[/editline] oh that gives me an idea It's a dwarven mace right. Everything is based on skill. Damage = (OneHanded + TwoHanded)*0.5*(0.5 + Smithing/200) You gain (Alteration) Bonus armor when wielding the mace. You gain (Conjuration) bonus damage when attacking living creatures You gain (Restoration) bonus damage when attacking undead creatures You gain (Alchemy)/4 more poison damage. You gain (Destruction) / 4 more elemental damage (fire, frost, shock) each. You gain times (Sneak*0.1) more damage when sneak attacking with this weapon. Power attacks launch a dwarven arrow that deals (Archery) damage Power attacks opens locks up to level (Lockpicking) Power attacks frenzy opponents up to level (Illusion)*0.75 Power attacks have a (Pickpocket)*0.1 chance to steal the opponent's equipped weapon(s) Blocked attacks have a (Block)% chance to knockback a foe Speech ??? Heavy Armor / LightArmor ???? Enchanting ???
but they're reptilian, scales do that kinda colour stuff [t]http://wyomingnaturalist.com/images/herps/R_LIZAR_Eastern_Horned_Lizard_17.jpg[/t] also this is a great example of lizard facial expressions
"Thine shit, sirrah, this one is so tired of it. Prepare for a right good rasping."
Turns out that Pelinal Whitestrake just floats over White-Gold tower for the entire game, regardless of whether you've actually started KOTN yet. That must be awfully boring.
Oblivion Character Overhaul really helps fix everybody's potato faces But some people can't be saved [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/535146042273261900/23D72AE09C55B81F42C073B059A0D639FDCFBA30/[/t]
Is there a fix for this shadow bug? (the clear line in the middle of my character's shadow) [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/544153241552171121/869928D36C1ADBFB7FCF2656F29B1CE81F46B08A/[/t]

Or maybe I just can't think of any other logical explanations of their faces.
This guy was just so potato, he stayed potato.
I tried to look Newheim up on UESP just now, and I accidentally typed "Newheim the Potato". He's just that potato.

It is unfixable without ENB[sp]thanks white[/sp]. I shit you not.
The shadows are made of two light hemispheres glued together to make an omnidirectional shadowcasting light. It is unfixable. I shit you not.
While you're correct about the omni lights, ENB's shadow fix will correct it at a small fps cost.

yeah you can't imagine all the ideas I have I'm still trying to work on the mace, I'm trying to make it so that it launches an arrow when you attack but it doesn't like to work.
I hooked a function to force frame time to 1/128s so I could have player physics update at a fixed rate, it did exactly what I wanted with movement but screwed mouse control. Why the hell is framerate going into mouse control? EDIT: I looked at the function responsible and was immediately filled with a sense of terror

Now I'm curious what a pyramidal or cylindrical potato would look like [editline]asdf[/editline] Hotkey Rememberer praise stendarr!
added some new lighting [t]http://i.imgur.com/YFEzpe2.jpg[/t] these are place sparingly around the dungeon oh and this [t]http://i.imgur.com/nDH3xil.jpg[/t] is this too edgy/lore unfriendly
Ultimate edgelord supreme but keep it in anyways
Turns out that Pelinal Whitestrake just floats over White-Gold tower for the entire game, regardless of whether you've actually started KOTN yet. At some point in tweaking my mod I added the ability to go super fast down hills by jumping repeatedly tribes style. Bug or feature? You decide.
I got a mod that lets you disenchant artifacts. I gotta say, having basically every dragon priest mask effect at once is pretty overpowered, but I'm at a point so far along in the game that I don't care.

I love Oblivion's faces and character models; wouldn't change them for anything. It works for the game. Oblivion is a bit lighter, more colorful, and not always so serious; the people look like they fit in the world. Least in my opinion. :v:
I never fully understood if Oblivion truly was trying to be serious. It was all a cartoon for me.
I never fully understood if Oblivion truly was trying to be serious. It was all a cartoon for me.
It was very cartoony, although it had some serious moments. I actually kind of like that. It's like, when a game or something doesn't take itself too seriously, but suddenly goes all drama on you, it hits way harder.
Why is this one-handed sword 48 lbs? wtf
