Fixed my sound problem. If anyone is using Less Generic Tribunal and hears those noises, this patch seems to work.

Serious Sam and Doom would like to disagree.
Atleast ESO is non-canon iirc
I've been classing it as Fallout Tactics style canon
meaning it's canon unless another game contradicts it, then it loses

Well, every other TES game contradicts it or renders it invalid cause ESO's writers suck, so...
The 4chan post is hella nitpicky but I will admit that ESO in general is just uninspired and lazy. I don't particularly care about ~architecture~ or any of that shit really but it just goes to show the ESO is far from a TES game, it's just a bad mimicry with bland MMO elements thrown in.
Bullshit lore?
Dude, lore is the whole reason to play a game. Lore gives you background information that explains why the current situation is as it is.
Lore gives you a reason to actually care about the things that are currently happening in the game.
I play games for fun, and I find fun in being a hero to the downtrodden and a paragon of virtue/bringing icy death to all who would dispute my might and majesty, with pointy ears being a sweet bonus. I don't need to play by Kirkbride's rules to do that.

Don't forget any Nazi-killing game.
I prefer the fan theory that all of ESO secretly takes place in the "desolate, apocalyptic image of nirn", Coldharbour.
G2A sells oblivion GOTY for seven pounds.

I've been kinda avoiding G2A since what happened with Far Cry 4 keys. Also, I dunno if it's just me being stingy, but I definitely think it should be cheaper than that. It's almost 10 years old and yet Skyrim is on sale 99% of the time, making even that cheaper.
I prefer the fan theory that all of ESO secretly takes place in the "desolate, apocalyptic image of nirn", Coldharbour.
I don't because that means Coldharbour is kinda boring. It always sounds like the most awesomely horrific and perverse realm of Oblivion, LOTR elves is not sufficiently messed up for me.
When you think about it, Coldharbour is basically just LoversLab if it was a realm of oblivion instead of a website.
It could literally be the best MMO on the face of the Earth, but that wouldn't change the fact that it's a garbage Elder Scrolls game and shits on the lore all the time.
Most TES fans are pretty deep into the whole lore thing, which is why most TES fans don't like Online.
There's also that zero depth thing going on as well. Flat, fucked lore and most egregious of all just shit-ass boring. For a company with kind of pockets zenimax has, they didn't try terribly hard to stand out amongst the crowd other than amount of playable races.

Careful, in Elder Scrolls threads you arent allowed to have dissenting opinions

I like how you completely ignored all of the legitimate reasons for disagreeing with you and continue to spout your "lmao anti ESO circlejerk" crap.
Is it hard to breathe with your head shoved so far up your own ass?

ES elves being reduced to pointy ear humans sounds pretty horrific and perverse to me.
Do the dunmer look like blueish pointy eared humans?
Cause if they do brb lawsuit
[editline]asdf[/editline]
You don't make the dark elves look like pointy eared humans, man. That's just not something you do. That's extra heresy. That's like Crusades worthy shit.
Better than looking like pointy-eared potatoes.

Yeah that would track except you've been looking for content that made any elderscrolls game look like except with tongues hanging out and black bars since day one.
So you should probably just own it instead of skirting it.
oh snap
Beth's E3 is gonna have Adam Sessler and Morgen Webb

Wonder who they'll find to write their "fun dialog" for them so they can blame someone else for their shitty "joke" reception.

Dunmer look ok, it's the Altmer that got crapped all over. Bosmer are good too, they've got the weird black eyes and all that. They can even have antlers like in Morrowind, something which better get in the next singleplayer game.

Antlers?
It just stood there, holding its tail and whispering. What did it say?
Um you okay dude
i wish i knew how to change the impact sound for a weapon. i want to do a playthrough as Sauron, and i found a mod that has his mace with the unrelenting force effect on impact. but the thing is that it sounds just like any other weapon when hitting an enemy which sounds and feels absolutely retarded, especially when your supposed to be hitting the enemy 50 feet into the air. it would be cool if someone could add a slightly lower volume unrelenting force sound on impact to the mace
Antlers?

Bosmer had slight horny things in Morrowind; in ESO they can have smaller horns or antlers. Don't know if it was explained in Morrowind, but ESO lore is that they're usually decorations and not part of their bodies, but Bosmer mages can grow them the same way they grow their homes.
Are you sure it wasn't just the crappy models? :p
In regards to that 4chan post, yeah the lore is messed up in a lot of places but they got the alliances wrong.
They mention how Orcs would never side with anyone in the Covenant, and they're completely right. The thing is though is that nobody wanted the Orcs in any other group, and they pretty much had to settle. Not many are really happy with it.
Ebonheart focuses a ton on the fact they dont really get along; with tons of anti-argonian sentiment in all of Morrowind, and vice-versa in Black Marsh.
And in regards to the Queen, it really glosses over it when it just says people accept her. The entire plot line for the Dominion revolves around you going through the rituals and rights to make sure the people ACCEPT her. And [sp]her own family doesn't think she should be queen, both her brother and sister attempting to usurp her position[/sp]. She also doesn't exactly want to kiss every non-Mer child on the forehead; she still thinks a human run Tamriel is a shit idea.
Again; they did mess up the lore in quite a few spots but the alliances aren't bad really. Things like the capital of the Dominion being Elden Root are dumb as hell though.
Tbh the biggest problem with ESO is the overall quality of the writing more than lore-friendliness or what have you.
Apparently the later stuff is better, but I have yet to find LPs of the early game content that don't put me to sleep-- it's like someone took Skyrim's writing, then increased the amount of it you had to hear tenfold without any substantial increase in quality.

I honestly found myself having trouble paying attention to Ebonpact. The only one I really liked was the Dominion and even then that didn't really get good until mid first area, sucked for the second area, then picked up again and stayed up.
basically dominion 4 lyfe
