There's a dropdown menu at the bottom, just above the event log, that handles categories. Sometimes it screws up the Nexus ID categorization, only thing to do is go back to no categories.
I was stuck with that for 4 months or so because I accidentally scolled over the dropdown bar :v:
Thank you.
I kinda liked how Fallout had more freedom with weapon mods since ridiculous guns and shit were actually pretty commonplace in the world.
I think the same thing about Oblivion, since it's a fantasy kitchen sink and doesn't take place in an environment where having an inch of exposed skin is death. All of those silly armor and race mods look way less fitting in Skyrim, where the women should have beards and the men should be bears.

Apologies for the text, I didn't make the picture.

You have a point, but regarding armor, there's a lot of exposed skin in Skyrim. I'd guess it's ok for Nords and Orcs to walk around like that since they're rough fellows, but everyone else also has their guns out 24/7.
I do wish we got a rougher looking vanilla. Serious lack of winterized combat gear in the coldest place in Tamriel.
steam key i assume?
As was said before, it's not a Steam key. GMG will list what kind of DRM the game uses above the price tag.
IDK, bought GTA V off of GMG assuming it'd be a Steam key, wasn't
GTAV on GMG didn't list it having Steam as DRM, it even explicitly stated it was going to be delivered as a Social Club redemption code on the store page.
Nexus strikes again, now featuring really poor skin care:

now i can finally play as edward james olmos
Talk about MO, I'm having a "bug" in the bottom time-stamped box where it says:
failed to parse esp file C:\...\Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp: sub-record incomplete
And on the right hand side, under "Plugins" there is paper-clip flag icon over Unofficial Skyrim Patch which says:
there is an ini file connected to this esp. Its settings will be added to your game settings, overwriting in case of conflicts.
Everything seems to be working fine though, with about 60 other mods (more or less) and the Unofficial Skyrim Patch is still on top of the load order as should be, and MO itself says "Everything seems to be in order." v.1.2.18 MO, kinda scared to update if it screws up something lol. Should I be worried?
I got some spiffy looking new armor

I stole every piece off the display shelf
wait, you can steal from the display shelf?
It annoyed me so much that you couldn't in the beta.

Before they added the crime system, you could just freely take stuff from the stalls. Great way to get newbie armor :v:
It's probably not worth fighting the guards for now though.
Can't you just run from the guards?
So i'm re-installing morrowind, I kinda want some mods that allow me to starve, and the likes of that, and also some mods that allow me to craft my own armour, and mine for resources and stuff, anyone have any links?
anyone?
Can't you just run from the guards?
Yeah, but if you accidetally run into more they will absolutely slaughter you. Doesn't seem worthwhile for crap armor worth 0 gold.
edit: though, the armour being worth 0 gold was to prevent people farming the stalls, so maybe they changed that I dunno

Hookshot.
So they did a a Loremaster's Archive (an ESO thing where people can send questions about lore in-character and get traditional TES vague answers; it's one of the things they've done to patch up their lore) on woodcrafting and metalworking, answered by a Khajiit craftsman named Pacrooti. It's pretty great.
"Dearest Pacrooti, or well, fellow Khajiit,
You know, I will admit to you, I have never actually woodworked in my entire life. Then again, most of my life was spent in slavery and fighting, so I suppose I never would have the time for it. Tell me, Pacrooti, how hard is it to handle wood? As a woman I have no idea, you see, as I have never handled wood, firm or soft, in my entire life (as I said before, yes). Do you find it difficult, or adventurous, fun even? Would you mind visiting me in Windhelm sometime too, by the way? So I can handle wood with you? I'd be happy for you to bring your own wood. I'm sure it's better than any I could find around here in Skyrim. It'd be good for someone like me - eager to woodwork - to have a hands-on experience with a master acquirer of wood, such as yourself, no?
Jone and Jode dance kindly with you, Vadanni"
Pacrooti says, “Ah, you wish to be a client for Pacrooti, yes? This one perceives that you are interested in Pacrooti's nightwood. It is very popular, and for this transaction, Pacrooti can guarantee satisfaction. At least for Pacrooti."
LoverSlab confirmed for canon
Quick question, boyos. If I'm installing ENB binaries and I'm using Mod Organizer + SKSE, should I use the wrapper version or the injector version?
anyone?
Pretty much anything you want can probably be found right here: http://www.mwmythicmods.com/telesphoros.htm
There are some broken links but you can easily search up the mods on Morrowind Mod History
Anyone seen this yet? Made by our fav Novajam

honestly Skyrim's climates don't even try to make sense. IRL the landscape transitions from temperate forest (Pacific Northwest of the US, coastal Canada) to taiga (snowy conifererous forest) to tundra to wind-blasted frozen nothing. Cyrodil transitions from taiga (Bruma) to temperate forest (Falkreath, the Reach, the Rift) to tundra (Whiterun) to taiga around Winterhold, with some random swamps and hot springs thrown in because ?????
best not to think about how things should be and just run with how they are, imho.
Reinstalled Skyrim to do a semi clean run. Installed mostly sound mods, some better models, weapons, armor, and a few other fixes.
Crashes. All. The. Fucking. TIME.
Now I remember why I uninstalled ._.

I'm still new, but I think you can launder anything you steal and get money out of it, but you have to go to a fence to do it. You have to do this to store stolen items in your bank, too. A full set of nice heavy iron at level 6 is totally worth stealing though
Anyone else miss the monster variety in Morrowind? Most of the game you just fought the worm thingies and the pterodactyls but the Daedroths and the creepy grabby-claw white guy were rad as shit. Also the spooky Ash Zombies.
It'd be rad if the next game was in Black Marsh, because from what I read, you'd have plenty of monster variety in there.

its an endless cycle. I always see a kickass mod that makes me want to reinstall..but I can't just do that. I need to get a few mods. but then a few turns into 70, into 100. and even when I think I resolve all the conflicts, it still crashes sometimes, ruining the experience. and it keeps happening until I rage uninstall, just to start it all again a few months later.

I keep doing the same thing. Every time I attempt to do a serious playthrough of Skyrim, some dumb bug or crash happens. Want to use something silly and exciting like Warzones? CRASH. Most of the time, it's a vanilla bug, even. For example, one attempt was derailed by Blood on the Ice turning into a mess of broken quest progression triggers. I quit another because I was getting annoyed by common bugs like killcams and animations getting stuck. In another, I managed to get stuck with a permanent stat debuff. However, even beyond that, I quit playing because I find myself bored - attempting to do some roleplaying as anything other than The Chosen One Who Does Everything For These Damn Lazy Peasants (TM) leaves a lot to be desired. I've tried being a hunter, a traveling alchemist, and a simple thief - the game fought back every time.
On a related subject, in Oblivion and Fallout 3/NV, my favorite part is creeping through some dungeons. I find this to be a painful process in Skyrim, partially because of bugs like having your run speed reset to full while sneaking, partially because everything just feels awkward and clumsy, and partially because the combat is the antithesis of balanced. All of the fun I had on my initial playthrough is just completely gone, and yet I still keep trying to reignite it. Meanwhile, the Morrowind playthrough I did a year ago was just as fun and Myst-like as when I tried it as a kid. I keep thinking that I might try Oblivion again after so many years, but then I remember how deep into modding I was back then (to the point of learning Blender for minor edits), and I just immediately stop that line of thought.

Stealing is pretty easy in the starting towns, the stalls have a lot of areas to hide behind.

It has little to do with where it's located, you could have had amazing monster variety in Skyrim too, it just didn't.
Do you think it would be logical for Skyrim to have some Falmer ruins located throughout it? It sort of makes sense, given that the Falmer once had some degree of influence in Skyrim. Or would the Nord have destroyed the ruins after the Falmer disappeared?
Mod-wise I think it would be pretty neat to have some Falmer architecture littered about Skyrim. Just something to help liven up the place.
Would make sense that the Dwemer wiped out all remains of Falmer civilization in Skyrim after they enslaved the snow elves.

There's a mod for that, it's one of my must-have's for Skyrim. Really livens up the landscape; I think the idea was that the Nords beat them so completely that nothing was left, but it still would've been nice to have some ruins.
