it automatically updates once a day. If I'm not doing anything resource intensive during the day, I may manually run it a few times. If I know I won't be doing anything for several days, I'll have it automatically run a few times per day.
I don't know what is going on, but I am experiencing extreme lag on the server, I can't move at all, and I keep lag warping.
Tried to connect earlier, says connection is not possible.

Server is down, or it have a terrible connection.
Restarted.
It crashed because of massive CPU usage. Logs say it was skipping an enormous amount of ticks for several hours.
Guys, some guy in the server stole some stuff, lets say massive thiefs in the spawn town made by this user.
The user [b]crysisv3[/b] checked out all the spawn houses, and stole all of my food and some items into my chests.
I reccomend for everyone who got a house in the spawn town to check their chests.

Yeah, he's been around robbing all places and lying about Vortisent (KillerKo) that he burned his house and bullshit like that. I was right next to KillerKo when crysis (the griefer) told us he burnt his house.

So I just logged in, and I found myself standing next to my bed with an empty inventory. Last night, I logged out about 500 blocks away at Brim's project with all my tools and a stack of potatoes. Any idea what happened?

Sounds like you died. Either your .dat file got deleted (unlikely), or something killed you as you disconnected. My guess is that while you were timing out, zombies broke your door and killed you.

first red X marks an entrance to the cave with spider spawner right there (small acacia pillar marks it)
second X marks the location of ocean monument. I figured this one is nearest to spawn, and its amost out of the water (2 blocks short), so maybe someone will need it

If you want to mark a spot on the map, you can link to it. Just replace the X and Z values.

In this case, 840 is X and 1729 is Z, the /max is how far it is zomed in. From Min, -9, -8, and so on to Max
Makes it easier to show/tell people on the map :)

Prerelease 3 is out. Server will be restarting to update to it in a couple minutes.
In the future, you can always manually specify which version you want to use in your launcher profile.

I've got no idea, although I do know the mobs in the area are terrible. Last time I was exploring around there everything looked in tact. Are you missing any items from your chests? I haven't had any break-ins yet at the project site.

No, nothing's missing. I wonder if it doesn't have anything to do with a weird clone that spawned when I died in a nether portal, maybe my data got replaced with its data. In any case, any chance I can borrow a set of iron tools, armor, and a diamond pick off you?

I'm going to be away until Monday, Cow and the others might still be around. Things are a bit slow at the moment, but I'm really hoping more people join. For those of you who don't have experience with BrimCo, about 3 years ago my friends and I started playing on Profan's almost-vanilla server, and we built cool shit. We were usually willing to spend months on a project, and so we built things like a [URL="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17239680/Game Photos/Minecraft/Karkand/KarkandCarto.jpg"]city within a pyramid[/URL] and [URL="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17239680/Game Photos/Minecraft/Torvus4Zip/02.jpg"]an underwater/underground city[/URL]. This time around, we're all pretty busy, so we're not going to devote another 4 months to something like that, but I do want to see how functional of a server economy we can get going with vanilla minecraft.
We're not selling anything yet, but I'm hoping to have a road from our building to spawn built within the next 2 or so weeks, so we can start some sort of or exchange and enchantment shop. More than anything, right now I just want to see more people on the server, I haven't been able to find a simple FP minecraft server in ages.
Anyway, seeing as there is no economy mod, [URL="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17239680/Game Photos/Minecraft/ExchangeRates.jpg"]here's[/URL] a link to the "BrimCO exchange rates" we'll be using. It's a dropbox link so it'll always be up to date. I'll hopefully start the highway this monday, I encourage all of you living in corners of the map to start your own. Once we all get more connected, hopefully more big projects/cities will start and we'll see less people at corners of the map digging holes.
I'd just like to say that this server is amazing. There's no lag, and the towns are amazing! Canal access from the outside going into the city and through the swamp! Roads going everywhere! The only eyesore I've seen is Pablo's house that's floating half off a cliff, but I built a support for that. Great server.
