There's a swamp not too far from spawn. It's right behind the mushroom forest biome, a little way on.

Haven't been on in a while but it seems people are bringing everyone and their dog in with them
not seeing the useful part of this whitelist if half the server are friends of friends of facepunch members uncles great grandad
Still haven't been on a bit a bit so no idea if the griefing is still an issue or not
The whitelist serves as a speed bump on entry so that I don't have to actively spend 8 hours of the day moderating stupid shit, which I would probably end up having to do if it was entirely open.
There have been no large scale grief attempts. Only a few relatively minor ones. It's far less effort on my part. The alternative is full anarchy, and if you want that, go to 2b2t. I simply don't have the time to consistently keep an open server in check.
Can my friend get whitelisted? His IGN is CPUzer0.
