It wasn't too bad, just a diamond or two and lapis / iron - I don't know the exact time but it was some time this evening, I wouldn't bother if I were you. If it happens again I'll report it.
Also - to the asshole that cut down all trees around spawn and left only 1 high stumps: fuck you, they took a long time to manicure n shit, took an hour to replant.
I've definitely had items stolen from my storage room- low value stuff like misc tools and stuff, but still irritating :/
I also had to move my farm downstairs because of people always after my crops.

It was me who cut down all the trees, I actually said I was going to do it(don't remember who I said it to though).

I accidentally removed water from one of the wholes in the farm outside your house, when I was trying to put a fence around it.

I've only just begun digging in. So far, what's on top is all there really is to it. I've got a long staircase downward but it doesn't lead to anything just yet. I'm currently going to dig out a giant 35 by 39 room that will be the "main hall" of the hold.
From there, I'm going to have 3 branches into 3 separate directions for things.
First branch will be the Arcanum, which will have an alchemy lab, enchanting library, and a room for the nether portal; plus a place to grow materials for the alchemy lab.
Second branch will be agriculture. Since my goal is to become completely self-sufficient underground, this will probably be the biggest dig-out, requiring space for the different plants, a large cavern to grow trees (for charcoal. I use coal only decoratively), and rooms for livestock (I have every animal on my island except for sheep, which really sucks).
Third Branch will be the "living quarters" and will have the more flavor-esque than practical rooms. But this will also include the bedrooms, the Great Forge, entrance to the bedrock branch mine I'm planning, and maybe a throne room. I'm also hoping to build a small "garden" in this area - a room that looks almost as if it's outside and looks completely organic, with grass on the ground with flowers everywhere.
Underneath the Great Hall main chamber I'm going to have "the vaults" which I have a planned out inventory system to stash all the items I ever get. I don't waste anything, even rotten flesh, so I'm going to need to cut hundreds of trees for the many, many chests needed.
It's a huge endeavor that alone will probably take me 3 or so months to complete. But I welcome any help I can get; the only thing I ask for is if we can stick to my planned out design for the place. All I have planned is the layout. Any decorative designs I haven't bothered with yet due to not needing it so if you want to add to it in that respect, go for it.

Forgot to mention; I'm also going to have tunnels leading to the other peaks on that island and build watch towers that are only accessible underground. Thought that would add to the topside look a bit better (and give an added defense against red dragons?)
If someone does come along, can you grab some tree sapplings? Specifically arcadia and dark oak? (Along with jungle materials, if any can be found). All I have is oak, birch and spruce.

Alrighty, that works. In digging out the dimensions of the main chamber, I realize I'm going to burn through a [I]lot[/I] of pickaxes on it so if you have any spare iron or even diamond that can speed the process up, that'd be great.
