Psystrike is the only valid Final Smash Mewtwo may ever have. Having Mega Mewtwo be a transformation that, instead of a moveset change, is just an attributes change (basically, a clone character that happens to be the same as the original) would be quite neat in my opinion.
Aren't there gonna be Smash Bros announcements during today's Direct?
They promised a special surprise, but that surprise was an 8 minute trailer for Wonderful 101.
Maybe she's channeling her Ki to become super sayajin?
Where is the female in this picture?
Where is the female in this picture?
He posted directly from Smash's site, and didn't reupload. That image changes out daily.
They promised a special surprise, but that surprise was an 8 minute trailer for Wonderful 101.
I thought the surprise was the demo for the Wonderful 101.
Oh, sorry.
Probably, they even did official art of the two fighting in their new forms for X and Y:
For all we know, they might take Lucario and give him a different combat style rather than be an altered Mewtwo. I hope the same happens for Ganondorf in comparison to Captain Falcon, and other unfortunate 'clone'-types
I like Ganon as my Falcon-like, give him new specials but keep the same smashs and aerials.
I had a dream that Mewtwo was revealed to be back ... :(
I had a dream that Mewtwo was revealed to be back ... :(
get hype for mewthree in smash4 [editline]9th August 2013[/editline] actually since i guess pokemon has some kind of dumb super saiyan system now mewtwo could theoretically come back and have mewthree as a final smash
My problem with the Megavolutions, best highlighted with Mewtwo, is how the art style wildly clashes with the original.
I just don't like that Lucario has a mega form now, too, meaning that Mewtwo doesn't have anything over him any more besides popularity. Also, what would you all think about Blaziken/Mega Blaziken getting into Smash? Edit: Take note that I don't necessarily want it in. I'm just curious.
assist trophy
I'm really kinda sick of Blaziken. Don't get me wrong, he was my boy in Ruby, but he's EVERYWHERE.
he's like the most overrated starter since charzard
he's like the most overrated starter since charzard
mudkip
mudkip
Completely different type of overrated. Most people picked Torchic because of Blaziken. Mudkip just had a meme going on at the time.
So I guess I was the only one to pick Treecko.
Completely different type of overrated. Most people picked Torchic because of Blaziken. Mudkip just had a meme going on at the time.
And yet I legitimately like Mudkip. Not so much his evos, but Mudkip himself is just so fucking adorable.
And yet I legitimately like Mudkip. Not so much his evos, but Mudkip himself is just so fucking adorable.
I actually quite like Swampert. I always picked which starter I feel looked the best, didn't care for the actual type or attributes they had in the longrun.
So it looks like another Mega-evolution was revealed today: I hope it comes out from a pokeball in SSB4.
i actually like infernape a lot more than blaziken design-wise, and think he'd fit better in smash, but theres not much chance of that happening is there. at least now theres some hope for lucario staying in the game, he was one of my favourites in brawl and one of my favourite pokemon too
What if... What if they programmed so that if a Pokemon is on stage and the Smash Ball appears, he goes after it and then gets Mega-Evolved, adding a few more seconds to it's presence... Could work. Maybe?

That was one of the most fun things about him. [editline]11th August 2013[/editline] Funny thing, I had a dream last night about being Lucario in a 4-player Brawl match (in first person). It was pretty rad.
I don't know what that means.
All pokemon get mega-evolutions when they use smash i think.
I think he means if a pokemon came out of a pokeball and a smash ball appeared, the pokemon would attempt to get it and megavolve

The rest of their movesets are different. Seriously, did you even use both to compare?
From the word of Sakurai, chapter GamesTM interview:
“And the same thing with the Wii U screen – since we’re an HD-compatible console, we’re able to do more details, and bigger stages as seen on previous home consoles. Now of course, I want to point out that everything on 3DS is designed for that screen, and that’s where they look the best. It’s unfortunate we can’t show everyone what it looks like on 3DS, rather than screenshots, while they do look fine, do not do that justice once you see it on the system. Too bad we can’t show everybody what it looks like on the system.”
Praise be Smash.
