I know that the daily pic is just a freebie that they put out for fun, but it would be nice if they showed us a larger set of characters, rather than the small pool they keep reusing.

They've been showing so little of him, between the screenshots and trailers. But I'm sure that we'll get more unique pics when more veterans start rolling in. Trainer has her own soccer ball as part of her moveset. We don't know if the item from Brawl is making a comeback yet or if this new one even functions like that.

This is all just preliminary stuff, I'm sure the big info will start coming eventually. They did for the Japanese sites. I'm glad to see the English side also is preserving Brawl's Dojo this time around instead of it just letting it go the way of the previous two sites. They moved all the URLs to a "wii" subfolder, but there's still a link on the current Smash 4 site.

Why am I suddenly hearing tons of rumors (outside the internet) that Captain Falcon is getting redesigned? Where are these claims originating from? I can't find anything, and I've heard it from several different people who don't know eachother. One claims he's being redesigned because "Nintendo wants the SSB4 rendition to reflect his appearance in a planned (read: unannounced) F-Zero title." Whaa?

Whaa?[/QUOTE] People are probably really wanting an F-Zero title, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did go with a re-design for the cast since the last big game was GX(/AX) years ago. But nothing more than hopeful rumors, not a damn thing's been leaked or noted in that regard.

Oh I would fucking LOVE a new F-Zero. That's why I asked that here instead of just ignoring it, I really hope it's true. I REALLY hope it's true. Like, man. Please be true. ... Thinking about it, that could be the reason why the good Captain hasn't appeared in any promo material yet, despite being one of the most well-liked characters and having been in the series from the very start. They wouldn't want to spoil something before a Nintendo Direct or electronics expo.

I somehow kinda got used to the way Fox is now. They made it less exaggerated than the Command/Brawl one (the head is slightly shorter and the muzzle is slightly longer) I really wonder why they didn't go with this design though, it's one of my favorites: [t]http://i.imgur.com/kGbMUqf.jpg[/t] Assault was the only game where he ever looked like a starfighter pilot and not a terrestrial one.

On the subject of F-zero: Why the fuck haven't they given Ganondorf a new move-set so that his old one can be given to Black Shadow? [editline];[/editline] 'Cause Black Shadow is the bomb.

And on the subject of old characters getting a new twist, you know what I want to see? Sonic and Tails together as one character, ala Ice Climbers. Think about how much more depth that would add versus Sonic alone (team-up moves, a new Up+B, etc), and how much sense it makes from a character perspective too. Anyone who's played Sonic 4 EP2 can kinda figure out what some of the buddy moves would be.
