I personally liked Subspace Emissary. It was neat seeing a fighting engine adopted into a full-scale platformer, although Smash is already much more of a platformer than other fighting games anyway. It was fun seeing the characters team up and interact how they did. It's a bit of a shame Smash 4 won't be doing the same thing. At the very least, I would've loved to see Uprising-style banter go back and forth on the GamePad/bottom screen.
I'm considering jumping on the bandwagon and making a GameFAQs Smash Bros. Thread Simulator that place is a cesspool of idiocy and hatred
I doubt you've seen NGG. That place is the worst of the whole site. Anything and everything is just fuel for a perpetual @#$!-waving contest.
SSE was at it's best when it was a homage to older games, and at it's worst when it had the original universe elements take center stage. Seriously, no-one wants to fight Primids. I hope if they bring back adventure mode, each franchise gets it's own series of stages that plays as closely to the original game as possible. Mario is straight up platformer, Mega Man is more pixel perfect, Metroid has backtracking elements, etc.

Miiverse comments are just... jesus christ, they're like Youtube comments but worse.

First Metroid can't crawl, now he's a girl. Super Smash Blunders U
I'm on my phone so I can't very well post it, but what's going on in today's daily pic? It's some dark corridor.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/q4vvgU0.jpg[/thumb] New daily. I have no idea what stage this is supposed to be.

Still, Goombas and Primids? I wanted to fight Kremlims, Space Pirates, Moblins, Zubats... etc. Not the same stuff everywhere.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/q4vvgU0.jpg[/thumb] New daily. I have no idea what stage this is supposed to be.
Kind of looks like the tunnel you go through in SSE when you fight metal Ridley.
False alarm, seems it was just the Pyrosphere all along.
Inside the corridor along one of the walls in Pyrosphere, a view that's really not visible in-game. You can't tell from the picture, but it's actually a gigantic open space.
Adventure mode was a quick run through really neat levels that were all different.

The biggest problem with SSE is the fact you have to, effectively, play through it twice. Any flaw it had was compounded by the fact that we were forced to go through them twice over. It should have remained a short and sweet adventure mode. The great maze was the last thing it needed.
so Project M just announced they're adding Roy + they found a way to add characters without removing some from the original roster
they found a way to add characters without removing some from the original roster
God damn. There's a lot of previously-unattainable potential now.
+ they found a way to add characters without removing some from the original roster
I've been waiting for this news for years, I thought it would never come.
yeah I'm canceling my SSB4 purchase instead I'm gonna port villager to brawl
Don't lie to yourself, you know you're going to buy SSB4 one way or another.
they found a way to add characters without removing some from the original roster
Mother of god So much potential right now
And like fuck Nintendo would appreciate that kind of effort and potential in a game via the users working on it. No, their games are seen as perfect upon release, and touching that would be akin to sacrilege in their view... Cultural shenanigans, heh.
Don't lie to yourself, you know you're going to buy SSB4 one way or another.
Of course I am I need that HD WFT ass
