I would still rather see it become much easier to perform than to be removed altogether though. Turn it from an exploit into a legit mechanic. Block + double-tap direction = "Superdodge", which is functionally identical to a wavedash, but the number of times you can do it in a row is governed by the weight of your character.
TAS wavedashing is always nice. Pleasantly reminds me of this
It's actually not TASed neither is it wavedashing. It's a Space Animals variation, called Waveshining, which can be used to create extra range on your shine.
You lost me at "It's".

I wasn't aware you could reciprocate it at full speed though, as the timing to do so is frame-perfect.
You lost me at "It's".
... Why?
... Why?
[sp]It is a subtle humorous reference to the fact that the aforementioned statement was extremely complicated to someone not fully educated in smash lingo[/sp]
You lost me at "It's".
in english It's not a tool assisted gameplay recording neither it is the action to diagonally dodge as you're right above the ground to slide. It's a Fox/Falco variation, called action to diagonally dodge as you're right above the ground and used your down B at the same time to create extra range for your down B. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/PonxAcK.jpg[/thumb]
Pic of the day. The trio as joint co-stars. Who is the strongest of them all?!
I'm going to guess that Megaman is the strongest. He's probably a nightmare to balance.
Wavedashing and L Canceling is the exact reason I avoided Tournaments, always felt like a game exploit that people were okay with.
L-cancelling is a fucking intended feature.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/PonxAcK.jpg[/thumb] I'm going to guess that Megaman is the strongest. He's probably a nightmare to balance.
Obviously it's Mario. They made his fireballs even slower as to keep your enemies guessing.
Mega Man will probably be a character who shits over half of the roster and is shat on by the other half. He's entirely projectiles save for a few attacks, so anyone who can close the gap or absorb/reflect will have a field day, but characters with no real approach or counter will be eaten up. Should have an interesting place on the inevitable tier list. As for l-cancelling, why is it even a mechanic? Just halve landing lag on all characters instead. Having to push a button every time you land isn't challenging, it's stupid.
Megaman's A attack is shooting his lil' gun, and his side smash is him doing a charge shot, think they'll be reflectable?
Why does sonic look better than sega's sonic He looks like he just came out of adventure for Christ's sake this is good

How long has it been since you guys played a Sonic game? the Smash model looks essentially the same as the model he's had in every game since Unleashed.
what is happening
baxon dies over is like "o well I guess I won guys"
Why does sonic look better than sega's sonic He looks like he just came out of adventure for Christ's sake
He.. doesn't though? As The Stills already said, he looks like Sega's latest Sonic, which is good because it's when Sonic is starting to pick up the pace and have higher quality games.
He's talking about how Nintendo's rendition looks better than Sega's official one, not the other way around.
i didn't even realize nintendo made it
He's talking about how Nintendo's rendition looks better than Sega's official one, not the other way around.
Well he's wrong because they look exactly the same.
Well he's wrong because they look exactly the same.
yes but it feels like he's more of a sonic adventure sonic in spirit but i'm also getting some classic sonic vibes as well
Are those spikes on Sonic's head supposed to be like hair or are they like... fleshy and stuff?
Are those spikes on Sonic's head supposed to be like hair or are they like... fleshy and stuff?
Questioning the anatomy of Sonic will only lead to more confusion.
As for l-cancelling, why is it even a mechanic? Just halve landing lag on all characters instead. Having to push a button every time you land isn't challenging, it's stupid.
In Smash 64 it outright removed lag. Oh, and it really improves the pace of the game.
Are those spikes on Sonic's head supposed to be like hair or are they like... fleshy and stuff?
Well you see sonic is like a horse in that it is connected to his skeleton.
