Weren't they called fighting wireframes?
Well yeah, and wireframes are when only edges of a model are visible Polygon > Edge > Vertex
what's with the grey?
Comes from Miiverse. All 3DS pics of Smash have that. The SSB site got updated with it a few hours after I posted.
I want bubsy in the new smash. I mean come on, he's fucking bubsy.
I want bubsy in the new smash. I mean come on, he's fucking bubsy.
That could be either "He's effin' Bubsy, man!" or "He's fucking BUBSY."
His final smash would be global warming.
mario bros. luigi there is a large seam on his hat and his eyes aren't the correct color, but I think I did really well on the hands and sleeves
On Miiverse, it was posted. I guess they forgot. Here:
So Samus missiles can be cut/punched out of the air now? Dayum.
So Samus missiles can be cut/punched out of the air now? Dayum.
Don't miss.
From what I understand, physical projectiles like missiles, Metal Blades, Crash Bombs and arrows can be stopped by hitting them. Might not work with magic projectiles (fireballs, Pit's arrows) or lasers. Maybe Super-Missiles will have the upside to not be cuttable.

But this has always been possible hasn't it? I can't imagine the number of times I've deflected projectiles with Ness's bat... Never broken them though. Maybe it's an ability unique to Pit.
The post does say that sword and bare hands can stop/cut the missile/projectile, so I assume it's a new feature to all character. Also, it might apply to Standard Attacks or even more restrictive, Neutral Standard.
Something I'd like to see for Smash 4 is special victory animations if certain characters win/lose against one another. Like, Bowser would look seething (maybe not even clapping?) if he lost to Mario or Luigi and on the flipside, those 2 would look a bit embarrassed if they lost to Bowser. They could have some fun with it, too- some nods to Mario and Sonic being rivals, for instance?
Falco and Fox already have special victory animations against each other in Brawl, so it wouldn't be a new thing.
Falco and Fox already have special victory animations against each other in Brawl, so it wouldn't be a new thing.
No, but it's cool and they should build upon it.
So Samus missiles can be cut/punched out of the air now? Dayum.
Pretty sure this isn't actually anything new. Attacks have always cancelled one another out if they both hit the active hurtboxes. In melee there was even a satisfying clanging sound when swords hit each other. The projectiles are treated no differently.

That and I always thought trying to hit Samus' missiles before would just blow your face up.
Shit, guess tonight's not the night. Pic of the two Links. ...tomorrow's the night?
Wii Fit Trainer confirmed to be Captain Falcon
Well today's news about Human Revolution: Director's Cut probably sealed the fate of either a FF character appearing or anything from Super Mario RPG being in the game.
That's a shame. I'm sure the internet's still obsessed over Geno like always.
That's a shame. I'm sure the internet's still obsessed over Geno like always.
pfff who even remembers geno ridley is the shit nowadays
I never really expected for Geno to ever make it into a Smash Bros. game anyway.
So this is happening: The special is suppose to air next Tuesday in Japan, and subbed everywhere else shortly after it airs. Makes me think something is going to be announced during this since they are subbing it.
Tbh, Geno doesn't really have much of a reason to be in Smash Bros. He was in a one-off game, and wasn't that interesting. Hell, Fawful has a better chance of being in a Smash Bros. game, if you ask me, and imagine how ridiculous that'd be.
Replace Snake with Jensen. No, better, get Daniel Craig's Bond.
Replace Snake with Jensen. No, better, get Daniel Craig's Bond.
It has to be Pierce Brosnan. No substitutions.

Makes much more sense to me, why do you assume there'll be anything about SSB?
...Or it could just be something about Pokemon and not at all related to Smash Bros. Plus it makes more sense to have a Pokemon character confirmation on a Tuesday than having it tomorrow for X and Y.
Plus it makes more sense to have a Pokemon character confirmation on a Tuesday than having it tomorrow for X and Y.
Why? imo with the weekend and X and Y coming up it would be a supreme hype builder. Besides, I don't know if I could stand to wait four more days. Also, I just had a realization that they're probably gonna announce Jigglypuff. Just a bad feeling I have.

Jigglypuff will probably appear in a couple of months when many other characters have been released.
I hope if they re-introduce Jiggly they give her some new moves based off of some new fairy-type attacks. Like hell, there's a move where they use the power of the moon and shoot a glowing ball of energy at the opponent? Neat stuff. Moonblast, Fairy Wind (For a Balloon Pokemon, this would be fitting, aha), Draining Kiss, yadda...
