I like how Sakurai is including stages and whatnot from games that are just being released, not just from games that were released when development started

Spirit Tracks link is the son/grandson of the Link that traveled with Tetra, who discovered and settled the new Hyrule and the Spirit Tracks Zelda talks about Tetra a lot as her mother/grandmother. It's pretty direct this time around. Hell, one of Tetra's crew is still alive.

Smash bros Mario is always angry.

The man isn't even being subtle about it any more. Sakurai just loves being evil. Although I would've preferred something a bit more substantial, I'm okay with Sakurai acting silly.

Remember when brawl was announced and all we had was a year of silence from nintendo and people screaming for Geno/Ridley? I think this way is much better, even if nothing major is shown.
