i personally belive if they're putting in another fire emblem character they will put chrom and make lucina an alt that way we can get 2 in one and not have to take up exess spots

Personally I would love to see professor layton and phoenix wright to be part of the roster. They'd be an interesting addition and personally the professor layton games need more popularity outside of Japan.

Not a character per say, but I'd love it if they introduced the Wing Cap from Super Mario 64. Basically, you equip it the same way you equip the Metal Cap, and it allows you to wiggle your stick back in forth in the air to fly, much like how Charizard, Pit, and MetaKnight do.
Other than that, I'd love to see Proto Man or Bass spring in and start shooting people up, like so;

I already said it's not bad on it's own, it just falters compared to the better games in the series. They're more popular because they're easier to get into, that's all. Remove the dating game elements from Persona 4/Awakening and the game is weaker for it.

We're not getting completely different characters as alts; the only alt costumes we've seen in the entire series are Wario in his plumber's outfit, and Wii Fit Trainer in her male appearance. It'd be as stupid as getting Mega Man X for Mega Man, or Shadow for Sonic. Sakurai's said this, both on the Dojo when plumber Wario was revealed, and in interviews.

Lucina is pretty much Marth-2, and Roy is already portrayed as a Marth clone in Smash.
That's like saying Link can't get a Dark Link costume because they're not the same character. Or Pit and Pittoo. Or brunette Zelda and blonde Zelda.
A Ridley costume for Charizard for example, now that's unlikely.
Maybe color schemes, but I don't see them doing the actual character model. It strays too far away from the character, and I think Sakurai stated that in an interview. Same reason why having a Lucario skin for Mewtwo wouldn't happen too.
Dark Link is literally just a black colored Link... and differently color-haired Zeldas.. yeah. That's quite different than doing entire character models.

Except Dark Link, Dark Pit and blonde Zelda are pallet swaps; they're just different colors. Roy is a completely different character, as is Lucina. They would be more effort then just changing colours, when Marth is fine without them. At most, Marth will get a pallet where he has a mask added on or something, but that's stretching it.

In all seriousness all it would take is a slightly different model and sound clips for a lot of these, and i'm fairly certain that M and F Trainer don't use the same voice.

Even though Awakening is probably one of my favourite games in the series, I still think he has a point there. The game looks absolutely fantastic and some of the characters are really lovable but compared to the previous games, the story feels really dodgy and you have to admit that the game is absolutely broken in terms of balance. Plus I thought the maps really lacked variety.
I wouldn't mind Lucina as an alt skin for Marth, after all they have the same weapon, look just like each other and most likely have the same fighting style. I don't see why that wouldn't work. Although I'd really like to see another Fire Emblem character who isn't a lord, just for a change (or at least one who doesn't wield a god damn sword).

Also when brawl first came out I picked Ike and was winning in the gamestop tournament to win a copy of the game and a wii, then on my 2 duel with this pikachu my controller just stopped working and the ref didn't care.
He was like sorry you lost oh well. No matter how much I complained about my controller not working.
I can't stand Brawl tournaments, or competitive tournaments of any kind, people take video games so fucking seriously.
