I feel like the only person that doesn't really like Rosalina. I'm honestly not too fond of Nintendo putting her in everything. However, I'm probably in the minority, so I'll just accept that she'll appear in more things.
and I bet 3DS players will get a Luigi's Mansion 2/Dream Team based stage
holy dorritos I want this to happen
Outside of the series itself, for some reason Nintendo ain't acknowledging the series. Probably due to the contrast in styles.
Luigi's Mansion 2 stage seems probable though.
What the hell would Rosalina even do?
Would she be like Olimar and have all of her attacks use Lumas?
This is Nintendo we're talking about. At most, she'll be a Peach clone.
Me and my buds finally completed the Rainbow Bridge duo event on hard.
A lot of shouting was involved
Who else is hoping they'll drop Mario's current Fludd down-B for a quick Luma-powered spin ala Galaxy.
Only hits once, medium damage, upward diagonal knockback, but a short range and very brief duration (and it has the same cooldown as in Galaxy; 1.2 seconds, and doesn't recharge in midair)
Anything that is not FLUDD and is not worse than FLUDD.

So, like a shorter/weaker version of Luigi's Cyclone attack?
Of course, I'd much rather a return to his old down-B over the Fludd.
However, maybe they could adjust the FLUDD so rather than shooting outwards, it could use the hover nozzle to push/trip opponents beneath Mario and give him an extra moment of air time.

...So in other words, anything, right?
So, like a shorter/weaker version of Luigi's Cyclone attack?
No not really. What you lose in power you gain in knockback. If you can time it right and hit an opponent in midair it can send them sailing even at lower damage values, but if you miss you have to land AND wait before you can try again.
Its main utility would be a surprise launch, with the advantage of being usable in both ground and areal scenarios, but the catch being a notable cooldown if you fail, especially in the air.

May as well make her an alt costume for Peach like the made a color scheme for Daisy for her
All alt costumes so far has still been the same character. Wario was still Wario, WFT is still WFT.
I don't think we're gonna see characters-skins of other characters.
Just a recolor, not an entirely different model
Difference with those is that they are literally the same model with a different texture.
The discussion at hand is alternate models to turn one character into another, very visibly different one, and even then the only two cases we've seen of this (Wario, WFT) are technically the same character to avoid confusion.
I hope they change fox's final smash to an arwing since honestly that feels a bit more recognizable than the tank from starfox 64.
Just a recolor, not an entirely different model
Daisy had a somewhat different model in Melee.
I don't see why Rosalina can't be an alt. costume, she still looks very similar to Peach.
"Daisy"'s differences consisted of what, a flower brooch and flower ear rings? And it was removed from Brawl anyways. Sure, you might get Peach with a different colored dress, crown and hair, but that's the closest you're gonna get to Rosalina. And for good reason, she has no moveset potential and putting her in before characters from underrepresented franchises who have real moveset potential would just be a kick in the head for most fans.

She has some moveset potential though. She could use the Luna-spin, the star flingers/cannons, shoot starbits, attack with lunas etc. Her final smash could involve something with the observatory turning into the spaceship
Rosalina not only never used those moves herself except for the spin attack, but she'd be representing a franchise that already has 4 characters.
I actually cooked up a Rosalina moveset a while back, before her abilities were brought more in line with the others in 3D World. Let's see...
Attributes
Has a Luma hovering around her like in Mario Kart Wii, possibly Polari. She can fly; she has only one real jump but holding the jump button while in the air will make her rise without limit, making it hard to KO her through falls. It also means she floats even while on the ground, making her immune to slippery surfaces and any tripping, forced or otherwise. As a trade-off, she's very light and can be knocked far at relatively low damage.
B: Ice Hex
Uses her wand to coat the area on the ground in front of her with the ice hexagon trail you left as Ice Mario in Galaxy. Makes the ground slippery and anyone caught in the attack is frozen briefly.
Side-B: Luma Grab
The Luma charges forward a good distance. If it hits an enemy, it uses a weak, multi-hit spin attack on them. If it finds an item, it grabs it and brings it back to her (she won't automatically pick the item up; it'll land on the ground near her.) If it hits a wall, it smacks into it with a splat and is stunned for a moment before returning. She can move and attack normally during all this.
Down-B: Orb Shield
It's the shield that appears briefly when you try to jump on her in the Galaxy games. It's a little less brief than it was in those games (about half a second), but it can't be held. Any enemies the shield touches when it appears get knocked a short distance back with slight electric damage. Projectiles are reflected, and any enemies attacking her directly while the shield is up will get zapped for moderate damage.
Up-B: Cosmic Apparition
Like Zelda's teleport, can be used in eight directions. It's faster, but doesn't do damage. Visually, it's similar to the Fox Illusion (but not as fast) in how she'll warp from one place to another with a trail, in this case one resembling her Cosmic Spirit form in Galaxy 2 as a dark blue silhouette with an un-moving star field (think cartoon plaid.)
Final Smash: Meteor Storm
Points her wand at the sky and fires a lightning bolt that rains down dozens of meteors that do good damage to anyone they hit. Upon hitting the ground, they'll break into Star Bits which recover minor amounts of health.
On an unrelated topic, there appears to be a couple supposed leaks. If they're fakes, they're incredibly convincing ones:

I really don't think it wise to speak with such certainty on the subject of what characters will and won't get in when WFT was one of the first new characters to be announced, especially considering Rosalina has some reinvigorated relevance in the form of being unexpectedly playable in another game.

If it weren't for the fact that there's some insanely talented people out there, i'd think these were completely legit, really. Aside from Ness seemingly not lining up with his shadow in the 3DS version, they even have the 'no inner black lines' thing mentioned a couple days ago.
If Dillon does get into this game, which I'm hoping for but also doubting at the same time, I really hope Nomad, Gallo and Boone make appearances as assist trophies or something like that.

No shadow under Ness's feet like Jigglypuff.
Also Jigglypuff isn't even confirmed yet
Also Jigglypuff isn't even confirmed yet
It's almost like it's a leak. (real or not)
fake and quite obviously homosexual
jigglypuffs eyes are off as well compared to the rest of it.
If you're going to put a lot of effort into faking a leak, why would you use a character that we already expect?

To get the people who don't think they're coming back to calm the fuck down, maybe?

Make it more believable, and build up your turst
