Some MLG event is being teased to host a Melee tournament, it looks like.

Well, did my College's tournament.
It was supposed to be Melee, but was changed to brawl at the last minute.
There were a LOT of scrubs, and only a few people I considered "Damn, they're good".
Of course, I rolled Yoshi all throughout.
Made it to the Finals out of 16 players, so it was me versus some other guy, who [I]REALLY[/I] peeved me off.
The whole tournament, this guy rolled Samus, and customized his controller inputs at the beginning. He dominated everybody until the Semifinals, where, after my Yoshi domination match, he chose Yoshi, and dominated the guy he fought.
So, Final Round, 5 stock, Final Destination, no items.
He chose Yoshi again, and jesus christ, this guy was mocking me the entire match. He was pulling off stuff you can't pull off with the normal controller layout, taunting me after every kill, and, to my best efforts, I lost, he had 3 stock left out of 5.
Made it to the Finals, but didn't walk away with the prize.
At least it wasn't as bad as the guy who also participated and rolled Wolf at first, but suddenly switched to Marth and spammed the shit out of Counter. But he was knocked out nice and quick.
Overall, it helps me realize that I am definitely NOT a scrub, and I can definitely kick ass. Yoshi is mah boy. But when I run into people like that who mock you to your face, it ticks me off quite a bit. Especially, since after he won, he back-flipped up onto the stage dancing.
Even if you lost you are still the better person for not being an enormous asswipe like that guy
